The rational and effective combination of multicomponent materials and ingenious microstructure design for efficient electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorption are still *** this paper,Mxene was used as the aerogel matrix,modified with sea urchin-like magnetic Co/N-doped carbon@polyaniline(Co-NC@PANI),gelatin was introduced as the reinforcement phase of the aerogel backbone,and a microwave absorber with high efficiency and excellent performance was successfully *** sea urchin-like Co-NC@PANI not only adjusted the impedance matching of the Mxene but also introduced a magnetic loss mode into the *** multicomponent interfacial polarization,heterostructure,three-dimensional(3d)lightweight porous structure,and electromagnetic synergy strategy enabled the Mxene-based aerogel modified by Co-NC@PANI(MCoP)to exhibit surprising EMW absorption *** maximum reflection loss(RL_(max))of the aerogel composite reached-62.4 dB,and the effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)reached 6.56 gHz when the loading was only 12%.In addition,through electromagnetic simulation experiments,the change in the electromagnetic field before and after EMW passed through the materials and the distribution of the volume loss density of EMW by the coaxial ring were *** coordinated electromagnetic balance strategy in the 3d network provides inspiration for the construction of materials and expands the research direction of lightweight and outstanding microwave absorbers.

Pleiotrophin and N-syndecan promote perineural invasion and tumor progression in an orthotopic mouse model of pancreatic cancer

AIM To detect the expression of pleiotrophin(PTN) and N-syndecan in pancreatic cancer and analyze their association with tumor progression and perineural invasion(PNI).METHOdS An orthotopic mouse model of pancreatic cancer was created by injecting tumor cells subcapsularly in a root region of the pancreas beneath the spleen. Pancreatic cancer tissues were taken from 36 mice that survived for more than 90 d. PTN and N-syndecan proteins were detected by immunohistochemistry and analyzed for their correlation with pathological features, PNI, and *** The expression rates of PTN and N-syndecan proteinswere 66.7% and 61.1%, respectively, in cancer tissue. PTN and N-syndecan expression was associated with PNI(P = 0.019 and P = 0.032, respectively). High PTN expression was closely associated with large bloody ascites(P = 0.009), liver metastasis(P = 0.035), and decreased survival time(P = 0.022). N-syndecan expression was significantly associated with tumor size(P = 0.025), but not with survival time(P = 0.539). CONCLUSION High PTN and N-syndecan expression was closely associated with metastasis and poor prognosis, suggesting that they may promote tumor progression and PNI in the orthotopic mouse model of pancreatic cancer.

Simulation of the relationship between roadway dynamic destruction and hypocenter parameters

Many factors can induce rock burst. Shock energy and shock distance are two key factors affecting rock burst. The 32101 roadway of the xingcun coal mine, which has a tendency for rock burst, was used as an example. The dynamic module of Itasca’s FLAC (Fast Lagrangian Analysis of Continua) 2d explicit finite-difference software was used to simulate the roadway’s destruction. The vibration velocity and displacements of the rock surrounding the roadway were modeled for different shock energies and hypocenter distances. The simulation results indicate that the vibration velocity and displacement of rock surrounding the roadway have a quadratic relationship to the shock energy and a power law relationship to the distance of the hypocenter from the roadway. A dynamic view of the process was obtained from a series of "snap-shots" collected at 100 different time steps. This shows an isolating "river" is first formed at the hypocenter. The region above the "river" is a low stress zone while below the "river" a high stress zone exists. This high stress zone surrounds the ribs of the roadway in a "double ear" pattern. Continuous and repeated action of the high stress in the "double ear" shaped zone destroys the roadway.

A series of novel pleuromutilin derivatives with 4H-pyran-4-one and pyridin-4-one substitution in the C-14 side chain have been designed and synthesized. In vitro antibacterial activity evaluation showed that most of the derivatives exhibited potent antibacterial activity against drug resistant gram-positive strains. Compounds 12 a, 12 d, and 28 are the most active derivatives in this series, displaying activity comparable to that of retapamulin and BC-3781. As the metabolic stability of this series is not satisfactory, further modifications are going on to improve their pharmacokinetic profile.

Primary 4-3-oxosteroid 5β-reductase deficiency:Two cases in China

Aldo-keto reductase 1d1(AKR1d1) deficiency,a rare but life-threatening form of bile acid deficiency,has not been previously described in ***,we describe the first two primary 4-3-oxosteroid 5β-reductase deficiency patients in China's Mainland diagnosed by fast atom bombardment-mass spectroscopy of urinary bile acids and confirmed by genetic analysis.A high proportion of atypical 3-oxo-4-bile acids in the urine indicated a deficiency in 4-3-oxosteroid 5β-*** of the coding exons and adjacent intronic sequence of the AKR1d1 gene were sequenced using peripheral lymphocyte genomic dNA of two patients and one of the patient's *** patient exhibited compound heterozygous mutations:c.396C>A and c.722A>T,while the other was heterozygous for the mutation c.797g>*** on these mutations,a diagnosis of primary 4-3-oxosteroid 5β-reductase deficiency could be *** ursodeoxycholic acid treatment and fat-soluble vitamin supplements,liver function tests normalized rapidly,and the degree of hepatomegaly was markedly reduced in both patients.
