Cells are the fundamental units of biological systems and ex.ibit unique development traj.ctories and molecular features. Our ex.loration of how the genomes orchestrate the formation and maintenance of each cell, and control the cellular phenotypes of various organismsis, is both captivating and intricate. Since the inception of the first single-cell RNA technology, technologies related to single-cell sequencing have ex.erienced rapid advancements in recent years. These technologies have ex.anded horizontally to include single-cell genome, epigenome,proteome, and metabolome, while vertically, they have progressed to integrate multiple omics data and incorporate additional information such as spatial sc RNA-seq and CRISPR screening. Single-cell omics represent a groundbreaking advancement in the biomedical field,offering profound insights into the understanding of complex.diseases, including cancers. Here, we comprehensively summarize recent advances in single-cell omics technologies, with a specific focus on the methodology section. This overview aims to guide researchers in selecting appropriate methods for single-cell sequencing and related data analysis.

The Pomacea canaliculata, also known as apple snail, is an invasive species in China, posing a serious threat to agricultural production and public health. To prevent its rampant infestation, we developed a highly efficient snail-killing lead compound, 1-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-(pyridin-3-yl)urea (PBQ). However, the killing mechanism of PBQ remains unclear. To elucidate this, two novel compounds, B-PBQ and j.PBQ, were developed through structural modification of PBQ and were used, through both protein pull-down assay and confocal laser scanning microscopy imaging, to identify and confirm that phosphofructokinase(PFK) in the apple snail is the primary target protein of PBQ. Further studies revealed that PBQ successfully inhibits the activity,content, and ex.ression of PFK in apple snail, disrupting the glycolysis pathway and leading to abnormal energy *** disruptions impair the snail’s tolerance to low ox.gen, resulting in its efficient eradication. These findings offer a promising direction for developing nex.-generation PFK-targeted snail-killing pesticides. Furthermore, the strategy of combining pull-down assays with optical imaging used in this work provides a novel approach for the ex.loration of mechanisms of other pesticide candidates.

具有独特结构的纳米粒子在高分子材料领域具有广泛的应用.本文采用耗散粒子动力学模型系统的研究了三臂星形AB二嵌段共聚物和A均聚物共混体系的共组装相行为.通过调节聚集体中星形共聚物浓度和AB嵌段的长度比有效地控制了AB/A共混体系中聚集体的共组装形貌.预测了一些有趣的结构,比如,具有较厚壳层的核-壳-补丁结构、具有壳层的且中心凹陷的圆盘状结构以及不规则椭球的多室结构.本文还发现对于具有较长A嵌段的星形链,增大A均聚物在聚集体中的浓度能够消除聚集体内B嵌段形成的核;对于具有较短A嵌段的星形链,少量的A均聚物能够诱导聚集体共组装成具有长条状核的多室纳米粒子.

A series of low cycle fatigue and creepfatigue tests on smooth specimens and notched specimens were performed with a high temperature alloy used in the manufacture of aeroengine turbine discs. The cyclic stressstrain behavior and fracture characteristics of the notched specimens were emphatically investigated. A comparison of fatigue behavior between smooth and notched specimens was done and lifetime of notched specimens was evaluated. At the same temperature, the fatiguecreep lives of the smooth specimens are far greater than that of the notched specimens.

The corrosion behavior of type 1045（AISI） carbon steel（CS） in oil-water fluids was investigated by considering the surface wetting state as the breakthrough *** surface water wetting percentage（SWWP）and corrosion weight loss of CS in different oil-water fluids were *** morphology and composition of the corrosion films were detected via scanning electron microscopy,electron-probe facescanning technology and Fourier-transform infrared *** results indicated that the corrosion weight loss of CS in the oil-water fluids corresponded with SWWP and that the corrosion process was influenced by the participation of oil.

Based upon the stochastic resonance theory,the formation mechanism of 100-kyr cycles in climate system is numerically studied in the perspective of stochastic *** this study,firstly we combine the idealized albedo model with the geological evidence and observation in climate system to construct a new albedo ***,a bistable nonlinear system is constructed by introducing the albedo model into zero-dimensional energy balance ***,based on this new system,with the solar radiation cycles and stochastic perturbation simultaneously taken into account,the variation of 100-kyr cycles is analyzed by numerical *** results show that,when the noise intensity reaches a certain value,the stochastic resonance can be ***,the noise intensity in this level does not ex.st in the actual climate *** order to ex.lain the formation mechanism of 100-kyr glacial-interglacial cycles forced by the weak solar radiation cycles,besides the solar radiation stochastic perturbation,the stochastic dynamic effects of the other "non-solar" radiation stochastic perturbation in the climate change processes should also be *** stochastic dynamic simulations taking the two types of stochastic perturbation into consideration show that,when the two types of appropriately observable stochastic perturbation are introduced,the stochastic resonance also can be *** this situation,the contribution rate of solar radiation stochastic perturbation is about 38%,which proves the importance of solar radiation stochastic perturbation in the formation of 100-kyr climate cycles.

The CORBA technique is an integration of the obj.ct-oriented conception and distributed computing technique. It can make the application within distributed heterogeneous environments reusable, portable and interoperable. The architecture of CORBA-based discrete event simulation systems is presented and the interface of distributed simulation obj.cts (DSO) is defined in this paper after the DSO is identified and the synchronization mechanism among DSO is discussed.

The fatigue cracking behavior at twin boundaries(TBs)in a Co Cr Fe Mn Ni high-entropy alloy with three different grain sizes was systematically investigated under low-cycle *** of grain size,the change from slip band cracking to TB cracking occurred with increasing the difference in the Schmid factors(DSF)between matrix.and ***,the required critical DSF for the transition of the dominant cracking mode decreases with decreasing grain size due to the reduced slip band spacing that increases the impingement sites on the TBs and facilitates the coalescence of defects and voids to initiate TB cracks.
