Many species exhibit color polymorphisms which have distinct physiological and behavioral ***,the consistency of morph trait covariation patterns across species,time,and ecological contexts remains *** trait covariation is especially relevant in the context of invasion biology and urban ***,physiological traits p.r.aining to energy maintenance are crucial to fitness,given their immediate ties to individual reproduction,growth,and population *** investigated the physiological traits of podarcis muralis,a versatile color polymorphic species that thrives in urban environments(including invasive populations in Ohio,USA).We measured five physiological traits(plasma corticosterone and triglycerides,hematocrit,body condition,and field body temp.r.ture),which compose an integrated multivariate *** then tested variation among co-occurring color morphs in the context of establishment in an urban *** found that the traits describing physiological status and strategy shifted across the active season in a morph-dependent manner—the white and yellow morphs exhibited clearly different multivariate physiological phenotypes,characterized primarily by differences in plasma *** suggests that morphs have different strategies in physiological regulation,the flexibility of which is crucial to urban *** white-yellow morph exhibited an intermediate phenotype,suggesting an intermediary energy maintenance *** morphs also exhibited distinct phenotypes,but the low prevalence of this morph in our study populations precludes clear *** work provides insight into how differences among stable polymorphisms exist across axes of the phenotype and how this variation may aid in establishment within novel environments.

prostate cancer is a leading cause of global cancer-related death but attempts to improve diagnoses and develop novel therapies have been confounded by significant patient heterogeneity. In recent years, the application of next-generation sequencing to hundreds of prostate tumours has defined novel molecular subtypes and characterized extensive genomic aberration underlying disease initiation and progression. It is now clear that the heterogeneity observed in the clinic is underpinned by a molecular landscape rife with complexity, where genomic rearrangements and rare mutations combine to amplify transcriptomic diversity. This review dissects our current understanding of prostate cancer ＇omics＇, including the sentinel role of copy number variation, the growing spectrum of oncogenic fusion genes, the potential influence of chromothripsis, and breakthroughs in defining mutation-associated subtypes. Increasing evidence suggests that genomic lesions frequently converge on specific cellular functions and signalling pathways, yet recurrent gene aberration appears rare. Therefore, it is critical that we continue to define individual tumour genomes, especially in the context of their expressed transcriptome. Only through improved characterisation of tumour to tumour variability can we advance to an age of precision therapy and p.r.onalized oncology.

Advanced 1.5-μm emitting materials that can be used to fabricate electrically driven light-emitting devices have the potential for developing cost-effective light sources for integrated silicon *** erbium(Er^(3+))in organic materials can give bright 1.5-μm luminescence and provide a route for realizing 1.5-μm organic light emitting diodes(OLEDs).However,the Er3+electroluminescence(EL)intensity needs to be further improved for device ***,an efficient 1.5-μm OLED made from a sensitized organic Er3+co-doped system is realized,where a“traditional”organic phosphorescent molecule with minimal triplet–triplet annihilation is used as a chromophore *** chromophore provides efficient sensitization to a co-doped organic Er^(3+) complex with a p.r.luorinatedligand *** large volume can protect the Er^(3+) 1.5-μm luminescence from vibrational *** average lifetime of the sensitized Er^(3+) 1.5-μm luminescence reaches ~0.86 ms,with a lifetime component of 2.65 ms,which is by far the longest Er^(3+) lifetime in a hydrogen-abundant organic environment and can even compete with that obtained in the fully fluorinated organic Er^(3+) *** optimal sensitization enhances the Er^(3+) luminescence by a factor of 1600 even with a high concentration of the phosphorescent molecule,and bright 1.5-μm OLEDs are obtained.
