Neuronal oscillations in the hippocampus are critical for many brain functions including learning and *** underlying mechanism of oscillation generation has been extensively investigated in terms of chemical synapses and ion ***,electrical synapses have also been indicated to play important roles,as reported in various brain areas in vivo and in brain ***,this issue remains to be further clarified,including in hippocampal ***,using the completely isolated hippocampus,we investigated in vitro the effect of electrical synapses on slow CA1 oscillations(0.5 Hz-1.5 Hz)generated intrinsically by the *** found that these oscillations were totally abolished by bath application of a general blocker of gap junctions(carbenoxolone)or a specific blocker of electrical synapses(mefloquine),as determined by whole-cell recordings in both CA1 pyramidal cells and fast-spiking *** findings indicate that electrical synapses are required for the hippocampal generation of slow CA1 oscillations.

Cervical carcinoma is associated with high propensity for local invasion and lymph node metastasis. However, the molecular alterations that drive progression and metastasis of cervical cancer remain unclear. Cellular senescence has been proposed as the mechanism that protects an organism against cancer progression and metastasis. In addition, Twist, a basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor, has been suggested as an oncogene because it is overexpressed in many types of human cancer. This gene also exhibits a positive function in regulating invasion and metastasis. In this study, Twist was strongly and positively expressed in normal tissue, squamous cell carcinoma （SCC） IA-IIA, and SCC IIB-IIIB （4.3%, 44%, and 88.9%, respectively）. The strong positive expressions of the senescence marker CBX3 were 39.1%, 32%, and 15.6%, respectively. The strong positive expressions of Twist in the SCC groups with or without lymph node metastasis were 80.8% and 50%. For CBX3, such expressions were 7.7% and 29.5%, respectively. Results also showed that the expression of Twist was inversely correlated with that of CBX3. Moreover, the knockdown of Twist with target siRNA in SiHa triggered the induction of the chromatin marker of the cellular senescence CBX3 and senescence-associated p-galactosidase activity. Our results suggested that the expression of Twist increased during the progression and metastasis of cervical cancer. Furthermore, Twist-induced senescence bypass is important in this process.

Hyperoside and quercetin are similar in molecular *** this study,the antioxidant regulatory targets of hyperoside and quercetin are mainly in the nuclear factor(erythroid-2-derived)-related factor 2(Nrf2)pathway predicted by network *** the antioxidant effect and mechanism of hyperoside and quercetin were measured and compared in H_(2)O_(2)-induced Hep G2 cells and Caenorhabditis *** findings indicated that quercetin was more effective than hyperoside in reducing oxidative damage,which was proved by improved cell viability,decreased reactive oxygen species(ROS)production,decreased cellular apoptosis,and alleviated mitochondrial *** addition,quercetin was more efficient than hyperoside in enhancing the expression of Nrf2-associated m RNAs,increasing the activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD),glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px),and catalase(CAT),and reducing the cellular malondialdehyde(MDA)*** was superior to hyperoside in prolonging the lifespan of worms,decreasing the accumulation of lipofuscin,inhibiting ROS production,and increasing the proportion of skn-1 in the *** the Nrf2 inhibitor ML385,we verified that quercetin and hyperoside primarily protected the cells against oxidative damage via the Nrf2 signalling ***,molecular docking and dynamics simulations demonstrated that the quercetin-Kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1(Keap1)complex was more stable than the hyperoside-Keap1 *** stable structure of the complex might hinder the binding of Nrf2 and Keap1 to release Nrf2 and facilitate its entry into the nucleus to play an antioxidant ***,quercetin had a better antioxidant than hyperoside.

Truss core sandwich panels reinforced by carbon fibers were assembled with bonded laminate facesheets and carbon fiber reinforced truss cores. The top and bottom facesheets were interconnected with truss cores. Both ends of the truss cores were embedded into four layers of top and bottom facesheets. The mechanical properties of truss core sandwich panels were then investigated under out-of-plane and in-plane compression loadings to reveal the failure mechanisms of sandwich panels. Experimental results indicated that the mechanical behavior of sandwich structure under in-plane loading is dominated by the buckling and debonding of facesheets.

The internal pressure of the process was studied theoretically and experimentally. The external load character and internal stress character of tube hydroforming were discussed first. Then, according to the characters, the function and classification of internal pressure were presented in general. Base on the stress analysis, its effect on the yield criterion and calculation formula were also researched and derived. To verify the correction of the theoretical analysis and derived formula, experiments with different internal pressures were carried out and the result was compared and discussed. It demonstrates that internal pressure plays an important role in tube hydroforming and theory and formula discussed and derived by this paper are feasible in practice.

2,7-Di（9,9-dimethyl-9H-fluoren-l-yl）-9H-thioxanthen-9-one （DMBFTX） with thermally activated delayed fluorescence （TADF） was well designed and synthesized. The phosphorescent organic lightemitting device （PHOLED） based on this novel TADF host material displays a stable red phosphorescence region, a peak external quantum efficiency （EQE） value of 12.9% and a low EQE roll-off of 38.8%at a luminance of 10000 cd/m2, which is benefited from the reverse intersystem crossing （RISC） of TADF host and less populated triplet exitons. Notably, the red device based on the TADF host DMBFrX exhibits superior electroluminescence performance and reduced efficiency roll-offcompared with the one hosted by commercially available host 1,3-bis（9-carbazolyl）benzene （mCP）, illustrating the high potential of employing the TADF host material with small energy gap to reduce efficiency roll-off in PHOLED.

2 mm low carbon steel plates were successfully welded by the flat friction stir spot welding(FSSW) using double side adjustable tools, by which the keyhole formed in the conventional FSSW was eliminated and a flat surface on both the top and bottom sides of the welded joints was obtained. In addition, the hook shape usually generated in the conventional FSSW was eliminated by this technique, and the unbonded interface was parallel to the surface of the sheets. Owing to the enlarged bonded interface width by eliminating the keyhole and the intermixed interface by the adjustable probe, the plug fracture occurred under all the welding conditions in the present study. Due to the suppression of the thickness thinning and elimination of the hook shape, the joint performance was improved in the plug fracture mode. The shear tensile performance was considered to strongly depend on the microstructure in the tip area of the unbonded interface and the maximum shear fracture load of 23.0 kN was achieved in this study.

By using the parameter differential method of operators,we recast the combination function of coordinate and momentum operators into its normal and anti-normal orderings,which is more ecumenical,simpler,and neater than the existing *** products are very useful in obtaining some new differential relations and useful mathematical integral ***,we derive the normally ordered form of the operator(fQ+gP)^-n with n being an arbitrary positive integer by using the parameter tracing method of operators together with the intermediate coordinate-momentum *** addition,general mutual transformation rules of the normal and anti-normal orderings,which have good universality,are derived and hence the anti-normal ordering of(fQ+gP)^-n is also ***,the application of some new identities is given.
