Background: Although some well-established oncogenes are involved in cancer initiation and progression such as prostate cancer (PCa), the long tail of cancer genes remains to be defined. Goosecoid (GSC) has been implicated in cancer development. However, the comprehensive biological role ofGSC in pan-cancer, specifically in PCa, remains unexplored. The aim of this study was to investigate the role ofGSC in PCa ***: We performed a systematic bioinformatics exploration ofGSC using datasets from The Cancer Genome Atlas, Genotype-Tissue Expression, Gene Expression Omnibus, German Cancer Research Center, and our in-house cohorts. First, we evaluated the expression ofGSC and its association with patient prognosis, and identifiedGSC-relevant genetic alterations in cancers. Further, we focused on the clinical characterization and prognostic analysis ofGSC in PCa. To understand the transcriptional regulation ofGSC by E2F transcription factor 1 (E2F1), we performed chromatin immunoprecipitation quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR). Functional experiments were conducted to validate the effect ofGSC on the tumor cellular phenotype and sensitivity to ***: GSC expression was elevated in various tumors and significantly correlated with patient prognosis. The alterations ofGSC contribute to the progression of various tumors especially in PCa. Patients with PCa and highGSC expression exhibited worse progression-free survival and biochemical recurrence outcomes. Further,GSC upregulation in patients with PCa was mostly accompanied with higher Gleason score, advanced tumor stage, lymph node metastasis, and elevated prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels. Mechanistically, the transcription factor,E2F1, stimulatesGSC by binding to its promoter region. The available modelling data shortage issue makes it difficult to guarantee the performance of data-driven building energy prediction(BEP)models for both the newly built buildings and existing information-poor *** knowledge transfer learning(KTL)and data incremental learning(DIL)can address the data shortage issue of such *** new building scenarios with continuous data accumulation,the performance of BEP models has not been fully investigated considering the data accumulation ***,which can learn dynamic features from accumulated data adapting to the developing trend of new building time-series data and extend BEP model's knowledge,has been rarely *** studies have shown that the performance of KTL models trained with fixed data can be further improved in scenarios with dynamically changing ***,this study proposes an improved transfer learning cross-BEP strategy continuously updated using the coarse data incremental(CDI)*** hybrid KTL-DIL strategy(LSTM-DANN-CDI)uses domain adversarial neural network(DANN)for KLT and long short-term memory(LSTM)as the Baseline BEP *** evaluation is conducted to systematically qualify the effectiveness and applicability of KTL and improved ***-world data from six-type 36 buildings of six types are adopted to evaluate the performance of KTL and KTL-DIL in data-driven BEP tasks considering factors like the model increment time interval,the available target and source building data *** with LSTM,results indicate that KTL(LSTM-DANN)and the proposed KTL-DIL(LSTM-DANN-CDI)can significantly improve the BEP performance for new buildings with limited *** with the pure KTL strategy LSTM-DANN,the improved KTL-DIL strategy LSTM-DANN-CDI has better prediction performance with an average performance improvement ratio of 60%.

With over a million cases detected each year,skin disease is a global public health problem that diminishes the quality of life due to its difficulty to eradicate,propensity for recurrence,and potential for post-treatment *** therapy(PDT)is a treatment with minimal invasiveness or scarring and few side effects,making it well tolerated by ***,this treatment requires further research and development to improve its effective clinical ***,a piezoelectric-driven microneedle(PDMN)platform that achieves high efficiency,safety,and non-invasiveness for enhanced PDT is *** platform induces deep tissue cavitation,increasing the level of protoporphyrin IX and significantly enhancing drug penetration.A clinical trial involving 25 patients with skin disease was conducted to investigate the timeliness and efficacy of PDMN-assisted PDT(PDMN-PDT).Our findings suggested that PDMN-PDT boosted treatment effectiveness and reduced the required incubation time and drug concentration by 25%and 50%,respectively,without any anesthesia compared to traditional *** findings suggest that PDMN-PDT is a safe and minimally invasive approach for skin disease treatment,which may improve the therapeutic efficacy of topical medications and enable translation for future clinical applications.

Analysis of the Effects of Preoperative Hepatic Artery Chemoembolization and Quality Nursing Intervention on the Perioperative Safety and Short-term Prognosis of Liver Transplantation in Patients with Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Objective: To investigate the effects of preoperative hepatic artery chemoembolization (TACE) and quality nursing interventions on the perioperative safety and short-term prognosis in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma undergoing liver transplantation. Methods: The study period spanned from January 2021 to December 2023, and 125 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma admitted to our hospital were selected, all of whom underwent liver transplantation. They were randomly divided into an observation group (n = 63) and a control group (n = 62). The patients in the control group did not undergo TACE before the operation, and the patients in the observation group underwent TACE and quality nursing intervention before the operation. The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, length of hospitalization, liver- free period, complication rate, short-term prognosis, and liver function indexes between the two groups were compared. Results: There was no significant difference in operation time, intraoperative blood loss, and length of hospitalization between the two groups (P 0.05). The rate of immune reactive complications in the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P 0.05). The two groups had no significant difference in postoperative liver function indexes (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Preoperative TACE and high-quality nursing intervention in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma had no adverse effect on the perioperative safety and short-term prognosis, prolonged the liver-free time, and reduced the incidence of immune-reactive

本试验通过测定不同辣椒碱浓度下浸置不同时间的滤纸片对啤酒酵母、青霉菌和黑曲霉的抑菌圈直径来研究辣椒碱对真菌的作用效果,以便为辣椒碱的饲料化利用和深入开发提供数据支持。试验Ⅰ结果显示:浸置3 h的不同辣椒碱浓度对啤酒酵母菌有一定抑制效果,随着辣椒碱浓度增加产生的抑菌圈直径呈增大趋势,但均未出现显著差异(P>0.05)。当辣椒碱浓度达到2.0 mg/mL时,抑菌圈直径达到最大;浸置3 h的不同辣椒碱浓度对青霉菌具有明显抑制作用,随着辣椒碱浓度的增加抑菌圈直径增大,且各辣椒碱浓度间作用效果具有显著差异(P0.05);而对于青霉菌而言,浸置3、6、12 h和18 h的辣椒碱均产生较大抑菌圈,但是不同浸置时间间无显著差异(P>0.05);对于黑曲霉菌而言,浸置6 h时产生了较大的抑菌圈,抑菌圈直径达到18.3 mm,与浸置3 h时相比提高75.96%,达显著水平(P<0.05),以后随着浸置时间延长抑菌圈直径继续增加,在浸置18 h时达到20.5 mm,比浸置3 h时提高97.12%,达到极显著水平(P<0.01)。说明辣椒碱对青霉菌具有显著的抑制作用,而对酵母菌或黑曲霉菌抑制作用较弱。

为研究大规模海上风电接入对某沿海地区电网频率跌落的影响,基于PSD-BPA对该电网几种场景下的频率受扰特性进行仿真,分析调频风机对电网频率的影响。结果表明:将火电机组替换为风机后将削弱全系统频率稳定性,随着调频风机增多,对电网调频能力的改善效果逐渐展现;相同容量调频风机在不同区域发挥作用时全系统频率波动情况存在差异;故障发生在风机接入点附近时,风机调频作用更为明显。因此合理配置接入电网的可调频风机,将显著改善频率稳定性。

【目的】植物根系是植物吸收土壤水分和养分的重要器官,研究植物根系有助于了解植物根系与地上部相互作用以及植物对环境变化的响应机制。本研究分析高分子吸水树脂(SAP)和卡波姆U20(U20)单配和复配的稳定性和植物生长安全性,尝试建立植物根系生长观察的半固态凝胶开放培养方法。【方法】借助根箱试验,以草本植物黑叶芋(Alocasia longiloba)和灌木鹅掌藤(Schefflera actinopylla)为试验对象,基于营养液和SAP与U20复配半凝胶配方,分析1/4 Hoagland’s营养液(CK)、0.3%SAP凝胶营养液(T1)、0.5%U20凝胶营养液(T2)、0.4%U20+0.3%SAP凝胶营养液(T3)和0.5%U20+0.2%SAP凝胶营养液(T4)的稳定性以及在这些培养介质中植物生长、叶片叶绿素、根系形态变化和养分吸收差异。【结果】放置5周后,各处理培养介质均没有观察霉变和长菌现象,T1、T2和T3出现水化或絮凝分层,T4与CK一样性质稳定且澄清透明。动态观察叶片叶绿素变化发现,同一时间内,鹅掌藤各处理SPAD值和总叶绿素含量均与CK无显著差异,黑叶芋各处理SPAD值也均与CK无显著差异(P>0.05)。与CK相比,T1和T2均对鹅掌藤和黑叶芋根系生长产生抑制作用,T1和T2处理鹅掌藤总根长分别显著降低了51.59%和47.48%(P0.05);与CK中根系多下垂于营养液不同,T4中根系舒展自然,侧根和细根均呈一定角度展开在半固态凝胶中,较好的模拟了根系在土壤介质的生长状态。【结论】0.5%U20+0.2%SAP凝胶营养液可在较长时间内保持稳定的半固态凝胶状态,较好满足了模拟植物根系在土壤中生长的要求,并且短时间内在该营养液中植物生长、叶片叶绿素、根系形态变化和养分吸收与纯营养液无显著差异,可考虑选择该凝胶配方来建立植物根系生长观察的半固态凝胶开放培养方法。
