Phosphate rock has been considered as one of the potential promising resources for rare earth elements(REEs). But the cost issues and the technical challenges caused by the low content of REEs in ores did hinder the further development of REEs recovery technologies. In order to explore a green process for the recovery of REEs from phosphate rock, this study investigates the effects of phosphoric acid concentration, liquid-to-solid ratio(L/S ratio), leaching time and temperature on the leaching efficiencies of the major components from phosphate rock. A REEs recovery of 94.3% and a phosphorus recovery of 95.3%are achieved under the optimal conditions of attacking phosphate rock using 30%P_2 O_5 acid with an L/S ratio of 10:1 and a stirring speed of 250 r/min at 25 ℃ for 4 h. Then,the selective precipitation of REEs with 81.3% REEs recovery is realized by heating up the leaching solution from 25 to 90 ℃ and keeping for4 h. Thereafter, more than 95% phosphoric acid is recovered by H_2 SO_4 and high purity gypsum, more than95% CaSO_4(tested by XRF), is also produced at the same time. Ultimately, a green process that leaches phosphate rock with H_3 PO_4, selectively precipitates REEs from leaching solution by heating up, recovers H_3 PO_4 with H2 SO4 is proposed. Compared with REE recovery in traditional processes, this process owns the merits of simple operation, energy saving and minimum wastes.

In order to achieve deeper understanding of rare earth elements(REEs) behaviors during phosphate rock processing with H_3PO_4. The solubility of REEs in Ca(H_2PO_4)_2-H_3PO_4 solutions with various concentrations of Ca(H_2PO_4)_2 at different temperatures were tested. The results demonstrate that REEs solubility decreases sharply with the increasing concentration of Ca(H_2PO_4)_2. Equations between [REE^(3+)] and [H^+],[H^+] and [Ca^(2+)] in Ca(H_2PO_4)_2-H_3PO_4 solutions were built based on the precipitation-dissolution equilibrium of rare earth phosphates and the ionization equilibrium of H_3PO_4. According to the equations, the decreasing mechanism of REEs solubility caused by elevated concentration of Ca(H_2PO_4)_2 was determined. The mechanism can be illustrated as that the elevated concentration of [H_2 PO_4^-] decreases the concentration of hydrogen ion by retarding the ionization process of H_3PO_4 and directly promotes the precipitation of rare earth phosphates. Furthermore, it can be easy deduced that similar effect would be caused by the other cation impurities(Fe^(3+), Al^(3+), etc.) on REEs solubility based on the mechanism. In addition, superimposed reduction effect on REEs solubility caused by the elevated concentration of Ca(H_2PO_4)_2 and the elevated temperature is found. This superimposed effect leads to a super low solubility of REEs in Ca(H_2PO_4)_2-H_3PO_4 solution. On the basis of the experimental study, outlooks and suggestions for further development of REEs recovery method are given.

The significance of myelin defects in psychiatric disorders has been revealed in recent studies, suggesting that oligodendrocyte（OL） abnormalities underlie some aspects of these diseases. 5-hydroxymethylcytosine（5 hm C）, an intermediate of DNA demethylation, and its dioxygenases, TET family members, have been identified as new epigenetic players in the regulation of nervous system development, as well as cognition, memory and other important neural functions. In previous study, we have shown the important function of Tet1 in controlling the normal development of OLs and myelination. Here, we examined a possible role for OL expressed TET1 in several brain functions, such as anxiety, depression, cognition and learning under a battery of behavior tests. Selective knockout of TET1 in OL linage did not change the locomotor activity in open field test, but the TET1 mutant spent more time and travelled longer distance in the central area of the field, indicating their anti-anxiety like behaviors. However, these mice were not defective in the elevated plus maze test, which was not in accordance with their behavior in the open field. Meanwhile, the mutant mice showed similar performance to their littermates in novel object recognition and social interaction tests, which suggest their normal cognitive function. In tail suspension test, a validated method for examining depression like behavior, TET1 mutant showed increased immobility duration than the control mice. Finally, following five days of T maze training, we found that TET1 mutant mice performed worse than controls, exhibiting decrease accuracy in alternating their choice of goal arm. These findings reveal a novel role for TET1, an enzyme important for DNA hydroxymethylation, in the related neural functions associated with hypomyelination, and provide new insight into the pathophysiology of psychiatric disorders, which can aid in future drug discovery efforts.

The exposed area of granitoids in China represents about ten percent land area of this country. The total average chemical composition of granitoids in who1e China is calculated with 12, 265 samples. And this total average of the world,s granitoids is also approximately calculated with 15, 790 samples adopted from Daly (1933), Nockolds (1954), Beus (1972) and this paper, by a compositive method of sample mean and regional mean. As based on the background of the world’sgranitoids, the regional characteristics of China,s granitoids are rich in the contents of silica, soda and potash.

Objective The open field（OF） test is widely used to assess motor function and anxiety related behaviors in physical and pathological states of mice. Parameters used to test anxiety behaviors were distance traveled and time spent moving in center area commonly. However, different definitions of central area may lead to distinct outcome, although these definitions were being widely used already. Besides, some animals present an abnormal movement trace, which would fail to analysis on using traditional analyzing methods. And identifying center area only drops the discrimination of anxiety levels. To solve the problems above, we utilized a novel square loop method to analysis the data acquired from OF test. Methods The OF arena is 50 x 50 cm and subdivided into 100 square bins. Each square bin is 5 cm x 5 cm which is decided by the average body width of mice. Five square loops are designated from edge to central zone, named A, B, C, D, and E. The automated video tracking system is used to collect behavior data. Results We used this new method to analyze the behavioral patterns of mice including motor activity, exploratory drive and fear with multiple parameters including entrance latency of loop,resting time in zone and speed in zone. Besides that, the results suggested that the outer area of the open field might be another potential parameter for evaluating anxiety levels of mice based on this method. It demonstrated that some interest outcomes with more spatial information which could not be get from traditional method. Although it does not overemphasis center arena setting, there is also containing an appropriate center zone that 36% of the total OF area and investigator can easily transform their raw data to a traditional style as they will. Conclusion This analysis method is a comprehensive and detailed way to delineate behaviors of different mice models.

Objective Autism spectrum disorders（ASDs） neurodevelopmental disorders typically defined by three core symptoms: impaired social relationships, impaired communication and language, repetitive behaviors and restricted interests. ASDs are highly heritable disorders with concordance rates as high as 90% for monozygotic twins. Recent genetic and genomic studies have identified a large number of candidate genes for ASDs, many of which encode synaptic proteins, indicating synaptic dysfunction may have a critical role in ASDs. Studies have shown that many molecules closely related to ASDs, such as Shank3, MECP2, FMRP, Neurexin/Neuroligin can directly or indirectly regulate synaptic development, thus affecting the structure and function of synapses. One of the most promising ASD candidate genes is Shank3, which codes for a key postsynaptic density（PSD） protein at glutamatergic synapses. Disruption of Shank3 is thought to be the cause of core neurodevelopmental and neurobehavioral *** We performed patch clamp, electron microscope and immunohistochemistry to explore the morphological and functional changes of excitatory synapses. And we also utilized optogenetics and DREADD methods to manipulate neuronal activity in different brain areas to rescue behaviours. Results Our recent study found that Shank3 mutation may cause distinct functional and morphological changes on excitatory synaptic in distinct brain areas. In striatum, Shank3 deletion preferentially affected synapses onto striatopallidal medium spiny neurons（MSNs）, which caused impairment in synaptic transmission, synaptic plasticity and spine density. Selectively enhancing striatopallidal MSNs rescued repetitive behaviors of Shank3 mutant mice. In anterior cingulate cortex, shank3 deletion caused impairment of excitatory synapses, which was relevance to social abnormality. Conclusion Our finding indicates that excitatory synaptic impairment plays an important role in the core symptoms of ASDs.
