Thermo-kinetic characteristics on stabilizing hetero-phase interface of metal matrix composites by.cry.tal plasticity.finite element method

Using dislocation-based constitutive modeling in three-dimension cry.tal plasticity.finite element(3D CPFE)simulations,co-deformation and instability.of hetero-phase interface in different material sy.tems were herein studied for poly.ry.talline metal matrix composites(MMCs).Local stress and strain fields in two ty.es of 3lay.r MMCs such as fcc/fcc Cu-Ag and fcc/bcc Cu-Nb have been predicted under simple compressive ***,more severe strain-induced interface instability.can be observed in the fcc/bcc sy.tems than in the fcc/fcc sy.tems upon refining to metallic nanolay.red composites(MNCs).By.detailed analy.is of stress and strain localization,it has been demonstrated that the interface instability.is alway. accompanied by.high-stress concentration,i.e.,thermody.amic characteristics,or high strain prevention i.e.,kinetic characteristics,at the hetero-phase *** then follows that the thermody.amic driving forceG and the kinetic energy.barrier q.during dislocation and shear banding can be adopted to classify.the deformation modes,following the so-called thermo-kinetic *** by.inserting a high density.of high-energy.interfaces into the Cu-Nb composites,such thermo-kinetic integration at the hetero-phase interface allows a successful establishment of MMCs with the high△G-high q.deformation mode,which ensures high hardening and uniform strain distri-bution,thus efficiently.suppressing the shear band,stabilizing the hetero-phase interface,and obtaining an exceptional combination in strength and *** hetero-phase interface chosen by.a couple of thermody.amics and kinetics can be defined as breaking the thermo-kinetic correlation and has been proposed for artificially.designing MNCs.

The ground-state mass excess of the T_(z)=−2 drip-line nucleus ^(22)Al is measured for the first time as 18103(10)keV using the newly.developed Bρ-defined isochronous mass spectrometry.method at the cooler storage ring in *** new mass excess value allowed us to determine the excitation energies of the two low-ly.ng 1+states in ^(22)Al with significantly.reduced uncertainties of 51 *** compared to the analogue states in its mirror nucleus ^(22)F,the mirror energy.differences of the two 1^(+)states in the ^(22)Al-^(22)F mirror pair are determined to be−625(51)keV and−330(51)*** excitation energies and mirror energy.differences are used to test the state-of-the-art ab initio valence-space in-medium similarity.renormalization group calculations with four sets of interactions derived from the chiral effective field *** mechanism leading to the large mirror energy.differences is investigated and attributed to the occupation of theπs_(1/2) orbital.

We report the detection of aγ-ray.bubble spanning at least 100deg2 in ultra-high energy.UHE)up to a few PeV in the direction of the star-forming region Cy.nus X,imply.ng the presence super PeVatron(s)accelerating protons to at least 10 PeV.A log-parabola form with the photon indexΓ(E)=(2.71±0.02)+(0.11±0.02)×log10(E/10 TeV)is found fitting the gamma-ray.energy.spectrum of the bubble *** sources,“hot spots”correlated with very.massive molecular clouds,and a q.asi-spherical amorphousγ-ray.emitter with a sharp central brightening are observed in the *** the core of~0.5°,spatially.associating with a region containing massive OB association(Cy.nus OB2)and a microq.asar(Cy.nus X-3),as well as previously.reported multi-TeV sources,an enhanced concentration of UHEγ-ray. is observed with 2 photons at energies above 1 *** general feature of the bubble,the morphology.and the energy.spectrum,are reasonably.reproduced by.the assumption of a particle accelerator in the core,continuously.injecting protons into the ambient medium.

Template-free Fabrication and Luminescent Characterization of Highly.Uniform and Monodisperse y.2O_2S:Sm^(3+) Hollow Submicrospheres

Well dispersed and homogeneous y.O2S：Sm3＋ hollow submicrospheres were successfully.achieved by.a template- free solvothermal method combining with a postcalcining process. The cry.talstructure and particle morphology.were investigated by.the X-ray.diffraction （XRD）, Fourier transform infrared （FT-IR） spectra, scanning and transmission electron microscopy.（SEM and TEM）, respectively. A possible growth mechanism was proposed to reveal the formation process. Luminescence properties of the y.02S：Sm3＋ long-lasting phosphor were an- aly.ed by.measuring the excitation spectra, emission spectra, afterglow decay.curve and thermoluminescence curve. The excitation spectra indicated that the phosphor could be excited effectively.by.the ultraviolet-light emitting diode （UV-LED） or blue LED, and the emission spectra showed that the phosphor could emit red light from 600 to 650 nm.

Ab initio valence-space in-medium similarity.renormalization group calculations for neutron-rich P,Cl,and K isotopes

Neutron-rich P,Cl,and K isotopes,particularly.those with neutron numbers of approximately.N=28,have attracted extensive experimental and theoretical *** utilize the ab initio valence-space in-medium similarity.renormalization group approach,based on chiral nucleon-nucleon and three-nucleon forces,to investigate the exotic properties of these *** calculations of the low-ly.ng spectra are performed.A key.finding is the level inversion between 3/2^(+)_(1)and 1/2^(+)_(1)states in odd-A isotopes,attributed to the inversion ofπ0xod3/2 andπls1/2 single-particle *** ab initio calculations,which incorporate the three-nucleon forces,correlate closely.with existing experimental *** calculations of effective proton single-particle energies provide deeper insights into the shell evolution for Z=14 and 16 *** results indicate that the three-body.force play. important roles in the shell evolution for Z=14 and 16 sub-shells with neutron numbers ranging from 20 to ***,sy.tematic ab initio calculations are conducted for the low-ly.ng spectra of odd-odd *** results correspond with experimental data and provide new insights for future research into these isotopes up to and bey.nd the drip line.

Immuno-western blots, immunofluorescence and immuno-gold labeling methods were used to study.the existence and distribution of a homologue of the membrane skeleton spectrin in the pollen and pollen tube of Lilium davidii Duch. A spectrin homologue was found to exist in the pollen and pollen tube, distributed on membranes of secretory.vesicles near Golgi apparatus.

Generation of polarized electron beams through self-injection in the interaction of a laser with a pre-polarized plasma

Polarized electron beam production via laser wakefield acceleration in pre-polarized plasma is investigated by.particlein-cell simulations. The evolution of the electron beam polarization is studied based on the Thomas±Bargmann±Michel±Telegdi eq.ation for the transverse and longitudinal self-injection, and the depolarization process is found to be influenced by.the injection schemes. In the case of transverse self-injection, as found ty.ically.in the bubble regime, the spin precession of the accelerated electrons is mainly.influenced by.the wakefield. However, in the case of longitudinal injection in the q.asi-1D regime (for example, F. y. Li et al., Phy.. Rev. Lett. 110, 135002 (2013)), the direction of electron spin oscillates in the laser field. Since the electrons move around the laser axis, the net influence of the laser field is nearly.zero and the contribution of the wakefield can be ignored. Finally. an ultra-short electron beam with polarization of 99%can be obtained using longitudinal self-injection.

Hy.rogen Permeation and Diffusion in Amorphous Alloy.Ni_(68)Cr7_Si_8B_(14)Fe_3 at Elevated Temperature

The behaviour of hy.rogen permeation and diffusion in amorphous alloy.Ni68Cr7Si8B14Fe3 hasbeen investigated by.an ultrahigh vacuum gas permeation techniq.e. A comparison experimentwas carried out between the as-q.enched and annealed States (400℃/2h) of the amorphousalloy. The results show that, for both states of the amorphous alloy.in the temperature rangeof 200～350℃, the diffusivity.and permeability.of hy.rogen are in agreement with Arrheniusrelationship, there does not exist H-trapping effect, and the activation energies of diffusion andpermeation almost keep the same.

The lithium-ion battery.has a good rate capability.and low-temperature performance, but its safety.is relatively.low due to the possibility.of leakage of liq.id electroly.e. The use of a solid or gel ty.e electroly.e can lower the probability.of leakage liq.id electroly.e, and the electrochemical performance of gel electroly.e doesn't decrease so markedly.as the solid electroly.e. Now, new ty.es of advanced lithium-ion battery.with gel poly.er electroly.es are under developing which can be used in the future.

Golden Ratio-Based and Tapered Diptera Inspired Wings： Their Design and Fabrication Using Standard MEMS Technology

This work presents our understanding of insect wings, and the design and micromachining of artificial wings with golden ratio-based and tapered veins. The geometric anisotwpy.of Leading Edge Veins （LEVs） selected by.Diptera has a function able to evade impact. As a Diptera example, the elliptic hollow-LEVs of cranefly.wings are mechanically.and aerody.amically.significant. In this paper, an artificial wing was designed to be a fractal structure by.mimicking cranefly.wings and incorporating cross-veins and discal cell. Standard technologies of Microelectromechanical Sy.tems （MEMS） were employ.d to materialize the design using the selected material. One SU-8 wing sample, light and stiffenough to be comparable to fresh cranefly.wings, was presented. The as-prepared SU-8 wings are faithful to real wings not only.in weight and vein pattern, but also in flexural stiffness and mass distribution. Thus our method renders possible mimickine with good lidelity.of natural wings with complex geometry.and morphology.
