Ba.kground: Pa.a.ine tonsils a.e pa.t of the immune system loca.ed within the Wa.deyer’s ring, they a.e prone to infections, hypertrophy or both. These conditions a.e known a. tonsil disea.es tha. usua.ly require surgica. remova. through tonsillectomy. Tonsillectomy is one of the most common procedures done for children but it is cha.lenged by the occurrence of complica.ions, especia.ly post tonsillectomy bleeding (PTB). In the current study, the incidence of post tonsillectomy bleeding in children younger tha. 14 yea.s undergoing tonsillectomy in Sa.ma.iya.Medica. Complex is eva.ua.ed a.d their demogra.hic da.a.a.d risk fa.tors a.e a.sessed. Method: Pedia.ric pa.ients who a.e younger tha. 14 yea.s with postopera.ive tonsillectomy bleeding tha. were trea.ed in Sa.ma.iya.Medica. Complex between the period of Ja.ua.y 2018 a.d December 2019 were retrospectively studied for risk fa.tors. Results: a.tota. of 1161 pa.ients within the a.e ra.ge of 2 - 13 yea.s old underwent tonsillectomy in Sa.ma.iya.Medica. Complex from the period of Ja.ua.y 2018 to December 2019. Twenty-eight pedia.ric pa.ients ha. post-tonsillectomy bleeding (PTB) during the study period with a. incidence of 2.4% of the tota. number of pedia.ric tonsillectomies done in our institute. The ma.ority were ma.e pa.ients a.d the mea. a.e wa. 6.2 yea.s. The ma.n indica.ion of tonsillectomy for those with bleeding wa. recurrent tonsillitis. a.second surgery wa. needed in 64.5% to control the bleeding. The size of the tonsil, the level of the surgeon a.d the sea.on a. which the tonsillectomy wa. done did not seem to ha.e a.y effect on the incidence of post-tonsillectomy bleeding (PTB). Conclusion: The incidence of post tonsillectomy bleeding (PTB) in Sa.ma.iya.Medica. Complex is 2.4%, which ma.es it a.common complica.ion for a.common surgery irreleva.t to a.y pa.ient, surgeon or clima.e rela.ed fa.tors.

Foreign body ingestion in children is considered a. emergency. The most common ingested foreign bodies a.e coins;however, the ingestion of disc ba.teries is on the rise requiring urgent rigid esopha.oscopy. In the litera.ure, multiple foreign body ingestion is very ra.e a.d only a.few ca.es of multiple coins a.d multiple ba.tery ingestion ha.e been reported in the pa.t. Herein, a.ca.e of simulta.eous coin a.d ba.tery ingestion requiring foreign bodies remova. on two sequentia. endoscopies due to improper initia. eva.ua.ion in a.pedia.ric pa.ient is reported which, to our knowledge, is the first reported ca.e.

Hema.giopericytoma.(HPC) is a.ra.e va.cula. tumor a.ising from ca.illa.y pericytes. This tumor represents 3% - 5% of a.l soft tissue sa.coma. a.d 1% of a.l va.cula. tumors. Only 15% - 30% of ca.es occur in the hea. a.d neck region, a.ong which sinona.a. hema.giopericytoma.(HPC) is a.counted for a.ound 5% of ca.es. Hema.giopericytoma.(HPC) ha. a.tendency for recurrence.
