Angiogenesis Factors Associated with New Breast Cancer Cell Line AMJ13 Cultured <i>in Vitro</i>

Background: AMJ13 is a new breast cancer cell line that has been established from a 70-year-old Iraqi woman with a histological diagnosis of infiltrating ductal carcinoma. It is the first for an Iraqi population. In breast cancer, angiogenesis provides the tumor tissue, which is rapidly proliferated with oxygen and nutrients, removes wastes and increases the opportunity of cancer cells to invade other organs. Methods: The AMJ13 breast cancer cell line was represented at three different passages and incubated for interval times. Microarray panel of 43 different angiogenesis markers was used to scan the supernatant for the factors. ELISA was used to quantify some of the important angiogenesis factors released in the culture medium and to confirm absence of those who was not detected by the antibody array. RT-PCR was used to confirm the gene expression (mRNA) of studied factors. Results: Microarray analysis showed that TIMP1 and two secreted at highest levels compared to the rest of the factors with low presence of endostatin. Other non-detectable factors by microarray examined by ELISA assay that showed highest expression level of VEGF-A were obtained at earliest passage, while the highest levels of FGF-b were obtained at late passage. The VEGF-D secretion was shown low concentrations at all studied passages. There is no detectable level of EGF protein in different passages and times interval tested. There are no significant differences in secretion of sICAM between different passages and incubation periods. Conclusion is that AMJ13 cell line depends on VEGF-A as main angiogenesis factor to induce micro-vessels supported by low levels of VEGF-D for lymphatic vessels formation. AMJ13 cell line depends on FGF as growth factors as in late passages it was shifted to depend mainly on FGF completely. All of this process may be regulated by TGF-β. Proactive Load Balancing Mechanism for Fog Computing Supported by Parked Vehicles in IoV-SDN

Internet of Vehicles(IoV)is a new style of vehicular ad hoc network that is used to connect the sensors of each vehicle with each other and with other vehicles’sensors through the *** sensors generate different tasks that should be analyzed and processed in some given period of *** send the tasks to the cloud servers but these sending operations increase bandwidth consumption and *** computing is a simple cloud at the network edge that is used to process the jobs in a short period of time instead of sending them to cloud computing *** some situations,fog computing cannot execute some tasks due to lack of ***,in these situations it transfers them to cloud computing that leads to an increase in latency and bandwidth occupation ***,several fog servers may be fuelled while other servers are *** implies an unfair distribution of *** this research study,we shall merge the software defined network(SDN)with IoV and fog computing and use the parked vehicle as assistant fog computing *** can improve the capabilities of the fog computing layer and help in decreasing the number of migrated tasks to the cloud *** increases the ratio of time sensitive tasks that meet the *** addition,a new load balancing strategy is *** works proactively to balance the load locally and globally by the local fog managers and SDN controller,*** simulation experiments show that the proposed system is more efficient than VANET-Fog-Cloud and IoV-Fog-Cloud frameworks in terms of average response time and percentage of bandwidth consumption,meeting the deadline,and resource utilization.

Hydrodynamics of Liquid Film in Helical Tubes

Hydrodynamic experiments on a liquid film are carried out using water in both straight and helical tubes at angles of inclination ranging between 2.5° and 5° and on three different coil diameters (23.86 cm, 32.74 cm and 41.13 cm) for film Reynolds numbers ranging from 100 to 2000. The film thickness is measured by two micrometers, arranged to measure vertical and horizontal distances within the cross section of the tube. The results of film thickness are related to the hydraulic radius to characterize the film flow in both types of tube. Momentum transfer rates are shown to be higher in helical tubes than in the straight incline tube. An empirical correlation is presented for film thickness in the helical tube in terms of NT (coil tube)/NT (straight tube) for film Dean number ranging from 1 to 1000.

Further development in the field of geothermal energy require reliable reference data on the thermophysical properties of geothermal waters,namely,on the thermal conductivity and viscosity of aqueous salt solutions at temperatures of 293–473 K,pressures Ps=100 MPa,and concentrations of 0–25 wt.%.Given the lack of data and models,especially for the dynamic viscosity of aqueous salt solutions at a pressure of above 40 MPa,generalized formulas are presented here,by which these gaps can be *** article presents a generalized formula for obtaining reliable data on the thermal conductivity of water aqueous solutions of salts for Ps=100 MPa,temperatures of 293–473 K and concentrations of 0%–25%(wt.%),as well as generalized formulas for the dynamic viscosity of water up to pressures of 500 MPa and aqueous solutions of salts for Ps=100 MPa,temperatures 333–473 K,and concentration 0%–25%.The obtained values agree with the experimental data within 1.6%.

Energy Transfer of Rhodamine110-Oxazine1 Mixtures Encapsulated in Glass Like Silica Xerogel Matrices

Laser dyes Rhodamine 110 and Oxazine1 were incorporated at different relative concentrations into glass like silica Xerogel matrices synthesized using the sol-gel process. Suitable sol-gel parameters were chose to prepare transparent host for the dye mixture. Energy transfer from R110 (donor) to Oxazine1 (acceptor) was observed. Using the different co-doped samples, solid state dye laser active medium, based on inorganic host doped with dye mixture, was achieved and its efficiency increased with respect to the materials. The effect of donor concentration on energy transfer parameters was studied.
