Objective:To determine the stroke predictors for the 10-year of follow-up in Bogor City,***:The prospective study analyzed the data of 4445 stroke-free subjects aged 25 years and above that was part of"the Bogor Cohort Study on Non-Communicable Disease Risk Factors".Data were collected by interview method with structured questionnaires,physical measurements three times a year,and laboratory examination every two years during a 10-year follow-up(2011-2021,without examination in 2020).The incidence of stroke is based on anamnesis results and examination by a *** stroke predictor variables include characteristics,biological conditions,and risk *** analysed 4445 stroke-free samples with Cox proportional hazard regression ***:During the 10-year observation,stroke incidence was 440 person-years per 100000 population(95%CI 370-530).During the follow-up of ten years,the main predictor of stroke was mental-emotional disorders with HR 4.2(95%CI 2.8-6.3)after adjustment by age,hypertension,obesity,abdominal obesity,and high LDL-cholesterol ***:Mental-emotional disorders are the strongest predictor of stroke ***,psychological factors must be controlled in a stroke prevention program.

Phenotypic and Genotypic Comparison of Pseudomonas stutzeri in Freshwater Fish in Indonesia

Pseudomonas stutzeri caused an outbreak of freshwater fish in Luwuk Banggai （tilapia and catfish）, Bali （tilapia）, Jambi （tilapia and catfish） and Tanjung Pinang （catfish）. The study was purposed to comprehensively identify special phenotypic and genotypic characteristics of P. stutzeri isolated from several areas in Indonesia, including its morphometric and biochemical characteristics and molecular variation. Bacteria were isolated from internal organs （kidney, ulcer and eye） of fish. They were then identified using morphology and biochemical test. DNA isolates were entirely extracted, amplified and reversed on 16S rRNA region, and further then were sequenced. Phylogenetic trees of bacteria were constructed using neighbor-joining and maximum-parsimony methods. The colony were similar, such as rod shape （Jambi, Tanjung Pinang, Bali）, bacil shape （Luwuk Banggai）, transparant in tryptic soy agar （TSA）（Luwuk Banggai）, creamy beige in glutamate starch phenol red （GSP）（Bali）, gram negative, motile, no reaction in the oxidative-fermentative test, positive result in catalase and oxidase test, negative in lysine decarboxylase and ornithine decarboxylase test and positive result in indole test; gelatin was degraded （only Bali）, urea was not degraded, no color change in Methyl-red and Voges-proskaeur （MR-VP） test; acid not produce from glucose, inositol or sucrose. Citrate was utilized by some isolates： positive （Jambi, Tanjung Pinang） and negative （Bali, Luwuk Banggai）. Results showed us that isolates of Jambi, Bali and Tanjung Pinang were monophyletic species with P. stutzeri $8 and ZH-1 comparing to gen bank. However, merely phenotypic analysis among Pseudomonas sp. was confused compared to each other.

Experimental Study on Performance and Combustion Analysis of a Diesel Engine Fueled with Diesel and Jatropha Oil Blended with Heptane

This work focuses on blending Jatropha oil with diesel fuel and heptane to improve its physico-chemical characteristics for production of blends and their use as fuel in a diesel engine. The influence of the heptane content was evaluated by comparing the results obtained from the engine (performance and combustion parameters) with those of the diesel fuel and straight Jatropha oil. The results obtained show an improvement in engine performance especially at low loads. Specifically, a reduction in the specific fuel consumption of the engine is obtained when the heptane content in the mixture is around 10% compared to that obtained with pure Jatropha oil. The best results were obtained with the blend containing 70% Jatropha oil, 20% diesel fuel and 10% heptane (J70G20H10). Overall engine efficiency and exhaust gas temperatures are comparable for all fuels tested. Engine combustion parameters are improved with J70G20H10. The results obtained with J70G20H10 are close to those of the engine operating on diesel fuel. The cyclic dispersion is low with coefficients of variation of the indicated mean effective pressure (COVIMEP) whose values are less than 10%. The lowest values of the COVIMEP are obtained with the blend J70G20H10.

Development of Sensible Heat Storage Materials Using Sand, Clay and Coal Bottom Ash

In this paper, the mechanical and thermal properties of a sand-clay ceramic with additives coal bottom ash (CBA) waste from incinerator coal power plant are investigated to develop an alternative material for thermal energy storage (TES). Ceramic balls are developed at 1000°C and 1060°C using sintering or firing method. The obtained ceramics were compressed with a compression machine and thermally analyse using Decagon devise KD2 Pro thermal analyser. A muffle furnace was also used for thermal cycling at 610°C. It was found that the CBA increased the porosity, which resulted in the increase of the axial tensile strength reaching 3.5 MPa for sand-clay and ash ceramic. The ceramic balls with the required tensile strength for TES were selected. Their volumetric heat capacity, and thermal conductivity range respectively from 2.4075 MJ·m-3·°C-1 to 3.426 MJ·m-3·°C-1 and their thermal conductivity from 0.331 Wm-1·K-1, to 1.014 Wm-1·K-1 depending on sand origin, size and firing temperature. The selected formulas have good thermal stability because the most fragile specimens after 60 thermal cycles did not present any cracks. These properties allow envisioning the use of the ceramic balls developed as filler material for thermocline thermal energy storage (structured beds) in Concentrating Solar Power plants. And for other applications like solar cooker and solar dryer.
