Seoul Metro is Seoul’s leading metro company, transporting up to 3 billion people annually. However, future ridership is expected to plummet due to an aging and shrinking population with one of the fastest declining total fertility rates in the world. The COVID-19 pandemic in 2019 accelerated this phenomenon. On the contrary, the e-commerce and home delivery industries have developed significantly since COVID-19. Seoul’s current logistics infrastructure cannot handle it. Under the inflection point of declining passenger transportation demand and increasing urban logistics demand, urban rail operators need new growth engines. Therefore, it is necessary to consider the introduction of an UULS (underground urban logistics system) that transports parcels instead of passengers through urban railways. If the UULS becomes a reality, it can be expected to secure scarce logistics land in cities, protect the environment and prevent traffic congestion by operating eco-friendly mass urban transportation, and acquire new revenue sources for urban rail operators. The UULS’s B/C ratio is 1.32. The sensitivity analysis shows that the ratio is above 1 in most cases where the unit cost of transportation is not significantly reduced.

We report laser cladding of pure titanium on a CoCrMo alloy using directed energy *** electron microscopy,the microstructural evolution upon varying the process parameters,especially laser power and powder feed rate,was investigated in relation to crack *** layers showing dilution rates of more than 5%contained cracks due to the formation of the brittle Co_(2)Ti intermetallic *** observed cracks could be ascribed to a mismatch in thermal expansion and a resulting stress of more than 440 MPa acting on the Co_(2)Ti phase,as determined by density functional theory and ***,an excess laser energy caused chemical inhomogeneity and unmelted Ti powder particles,while a deficient laser energy resulted in a lack of *** cracks nor partially melted powders were observed for a powder feed rate of 3 g/min and a laser power of 225–300 W,for which the dilution rate was minimized to less than 5%.For such samples,the cladding layers comprised pureα-Ti and a uniform CoT i interface with Co_(2)Ti islands.

This study was performed to investigate the changes in microbial communities and metabolites during the long-term fermentation of commercially manufactured anchovy sauce. Samples of commercial anchovy sauce were collected from large-scale fermentation tanks with fermentation periods of up to 7.87 years. The complex bacterial community was simplified to two genera， Tetragenococcus and Halanaerobium， after approximately 0.55 years of fermentation. Although genera， such as Saccharomyces， Cladosporium， Candida， and Aspergillus， were relatively dominant， no clear pattern was identified in fungal community analysis. The longitudinal metabolite profile demonstrated that approximately half (55.8%) of the metabolites present in anchovy sauce were produced within a year of fermentation due to rapid fermentation. Despite the static microbial community， the contents of several metabolites including amino acids and biogenic amines changed continuously during the long-term fermentation of anchovy sauce. This study provides novel insights into the changes in microbiota and metabolites in fish sauce produced without any starter inoculation.

BACKGROUND Atezolizumab/bevacizumab is emerging as the new standard for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),with ongoing real-world implementation to study its *** the use of atezolizumab/bevacizumab increases,various side effects have been reported in clinical practice,most notably increased bleeding caused by *** SUMMARY In this case report,we present a rare and fatal case of intratumoral hemorrhage in a patient with advanced HCC following successful treatment with atezolizumab/bevacizumab.A 63-year-old male diagnosed with HCC initially underwent four cycles of intra-arterial ***,follow-up abdominal computed tomography(CT)revealed disease ***,the treatment plan was modified to atezolizumab/*** the fifth cycle of atezolizumab/bevacizumab,CT showed partial regression of *** week later,he visited the emergency room due to severe abrupt abdominal *** CT revealed focal rupture of HCC in the medial segment inferior portion with active bleeding and a large amount of *** was performed on the same day,and embolization of A4 and A8 branches using lipiodol and gelfoam was *** successful hemostasis,the patient subsequently developed liver failure and *** Atezolizumab/bevacizumab for advanced HCC suggests that intratumoral hemorrhage may be crucial despite good tumor response after immunotherapy,emphasizing the continuous monitoring of this side effect.

Tungsten as a material exhibits broad and increasingly important applications;however,the characterization of its ductile-to-brittle transition(BDT)is currently limited to large-scale scenarios and destructive *** this study,we overcome this challenge by implementing small-scale techniques to provide a comprehensive understanding of the BDT behavior of pure *** order to predict the failure mode at various temperature ranges,the practical fracture analysis diagram has been proposed to describe the resistance to shear flow and cracking behavior with *** temperature nano-indentation tests have provided the inherent mechanical responses corresponding to the maximum shear stress at various temperatures,which is required for dislocation activities in an atomic scaled activation *** one hand,atomistic simulations have provided the temperature dependence of brittle fracture stress,where the atomic bonds break due to intergranular or intragranular *** considered four tungsten specimens having various microstructures prepared using different processing conditions of cold-rolling and post-annealing,and their BDT ranges were inferred using the obtained fracture analysis diagram with the statistical data *** fracture analysis diagram of each specimen obtained were compared with the direct observation of fracture responses in macroscopic mechanical tests,which conclusively indicated that the small-scale inherent mechanical properties are greatly relevant to the macroscopic BDT behavior in pure *** on the BDT estimations by small-scale characterization,we provided further insights into the factors affecting the BDT behavior of tungsten,focusing on the contributions of different types of dislocations.

The Notch signaling pathway plays a central role in the development of various ***,dysregulation of microRNAs(miRNAs),which are crucial regulators of gene expression,can disrupt signaling pathways at all stages of *** Notch signaling is involved in wing development in Drosophila,the mechanism underlying miRNA-based regulation of the Notch signaling pathway is ***,we report that loss of Drosophila miR-252 increases the size of adult wings,whereas the overexpression of miR-252 in specific compartments of larval wing discs leads to patterning defects in the adult *** miR-252 overexpression-induced wing phenotypes were caused by aberrant Notch signaling with intracellular accumulation of the full-length Notch receptor during development,which could be due to defects in intracellular Notch trafficking associated with its recycling to the plasma membrane and autophagy-mediated ***,we identified Rab6 as a direct target of miR-252-5p;Rab6 encodes a small Ras-like GTPase that regulates endosomal trafficking *** with this finding,RNAi-mediated downregulation of Rab6 led to similar defects in both wing patterning and Notch ***,co-overexpression of Rab6 completely rescued the wing phenotype associated with miR-252 overexpression,further supporting that Rab6 is a biologically relevant target of miR-252-5p in the context of wing ***,our data indicate that the miR-252-5p-Rab6 regulatory axis is involved in Drosophila wing development by controlling the Notch signaling pathway.

We theoretically and experimentally demonstrate an RGB achromatic metalens that operates concurrently at three visible wavelengths(λ=450, 532, and 700 nm) with a high numerical aperture of 0.87. The RGB metalens is designed by simple integration of metalens components with the spatial interleaving method. The simulated spatial interleaving metalens shows RGB achromatic operation with focusing efficiencies of 25.2%, 58.7%, and66.4% at the wavelengths of 450, 532, and 700 nm, respectively. A 450 μm diameter metalens operating at three designated wavelengths is fabricated with low-loss hydrogenated amorphous silicon. The fabricated metalens has the measured focusing efficiencies of 5.9%, 11.3%, and 13.6% at λ = 450, 532, and 700 nm, respectively. The Strehl ratios of 0.89, 0.88, and 0.82 are obtained at given wavelengths, which show a capability of diffractionlimited operation.

This paper presents the architecture of a Convolution Neural Network(CNN)accelerator based on a newprocessing element(PE)array called a diagonal cyclic array(DCA).As demonstrated,it can significantly reduce the burden of repeated memory accesses for feature data and weight parameters of the CNN models,which maximizes the data reuse rate and improve the computation ***,an integrated computation architecture has been implemented for the activation function,max-pooling,and activation function after convolution calculation,reducing the hardware *** evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed architecture,a CNN accelerator has been implemented for You Only Look Once version 2(YOLOv2)-Tiny consisting of 9 ***,the methodology to optimize the local buffer size with little sacrifice of inference speed is presented in this *** implemented the proposed CNN accelerator using a Xilinx Zynq ZCU102 Ultrascale+Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA)and ISE Design *** FPGA implementation uses 34,336 Look Up Tables(LUTs),576 Digital Signal Processing(DSP)blocks,and an on-chip memory of only 58 KB,and it could achieve accuracies of 57.92% and 56.42% mean Average Precession@0.5 thresholds for intersection over union(mAP@0.5)using quantized 16-bit and 8-bit full integer data manipulation with only 0.68% as a loss for 8-bit version and computation time of 137.9 and 69 ms for each input image respectively using a clock speed of 200 *** speeds are expected to be doubled five times using a clock speed of 1GHz if implemented in a silicon System on Chip(SoC)using a sub-micron process.

We report on the microstructure and the strengthening mechanisms of additively manufactured parts fabricated by directed energy deposition of Ti-6Al-4V(Ti64)powders blended with yttria-stabilized zirconia(YSZ)*** specimens showed refined microstructures as compared to bare as-deposited Ti64,where theαand columnar priorβgrain sizes decreased with increasing YSZ *** YSZ nanoparticles decomposed during the deposition process and led to the formation of yttrium oxide and some excess oxygen in the Ti64 *** decrease in the sizes of the priorβgrains could be attributed to the increasing amount of dissolved oxygen and yttrium,which promoted constitutional ***,the reduction in the size of theαgrains could be ascribed to a shift of the onset of theβ→α+βtransformation to a higher temperature and shorter time with increasing concentration of dissolved ***,the contributions of the underlying strengthening mechanisms for the as-deposited specimens were quantitatively determined.
