A series of tricyanoiron(Ⅲ) complexes with the general formula mer-[FeⅢ(5-Xsap)(CN)3]2-(X = H, Me, MeO, Cl or Br, sapH2 = N-salicylidene-o-aminophenol) have been synthesized. These complexes were characterized by IR, ESI-MS, UV/Vis, elemental analysis and magnetic measurements. The structures of (PPh4)2[FeⅢ(sap)(CN)3] and (PPh4)2[FeⅢ(5-Mesap)(CN)3] have been determined by X-ray crystallography. These low-spin d5 tricyanoiron(Ⅲ) complexes are potential building blocks for the construction of molecule-based magnets.

In this paper,we present an efficient computational methodology for diffusion and convection-diffusion problems in highly heterogeneous media as well as convection-dominated diffusion *** is well known that the numerical computation for these problems requires a significant amount of computermemory and ***,the solutions to these problems typically contain a coarse component,which is usually the quantity of interest and can be represented with a small number of degrees of *** are many methods that aim at the computation of the coarse component without resolving the full details of the *** proposed method falls into the framework of interior penalty discontinuous Galerkin method,which is proved to be an effective and accurate class of methods for numerical solutions of partial differential equations.A distinctive feature of our method is that the solution space contains two components,namely a coarse space that gives a polynomial approximation to the coarse component in the traditional way and a multiscale space which contains sub-grid structures of the solution and is essential to the computation of the coarse *** addition,stability of the method is *** numerical results indicate that the method can accurately capture the coarse behavior of the solution for problems in highly heterogeneous media as well as boundary and internal layers for convection-dominated problems.

Lung cancer is the leading cancer in terms of incidence and mortality in China and its incidence in China is predicted to increase in the next 20 years.1 The majority of the lung cancer patients are diagnosed with advanced stage disease,for which chemotherapy or targeted therapies are the mainstay palliative *** the identification of single-driver mutations,like the epidermal growth factor receptor （EGFR） mutation,platinum-based doublet was the standard first line treatment for advanced stage nonsmall cell lung cancer （NSCLC） patients with a good performance status （PS）.However,patient prognosis remains poor and the modest treatment efficacy seems to have reached a plateau despite newer generation of platinum doublets.2 The recommendation for the duration of first line platinum doublet treatment is 4-6 cycles.3 The paradigm was based on the fact that a protracted course of chemotherapy did not prolong survival but introduced cumulative toxicities.4,5 The use of maintenance therapy （MT）,defined by Grossi et al6 as the prolongation of chemotherapy with the administration of additional drugs at the end of a defined number of initial chemotherapy cycles after achieving maximum tumor response,was not considered as a standard option in the past.

Large-scale key-value stores are widely used in many Web-based systems to store huge amount of data as(key, value) pairs. In order to reduce the latency of accessing such(key, value) pairs, an in-memory cache system is usually deployed between the front-end Web system and the back-end database system. In practice, a cache system may consist of a number of server nodes, and fault tolerance is a critical feature to maintain the latency Service-Level Agreements(SLAs). In this paper, we present the design, implementation, analysis, and evaluation of R-Memcached, a reliable in-memory key-value cache system that is built on top of the popular Memcached software. R-Memcached exploits coding techniques to achieve reliability, and can tolerate up to two node *** experimental results show that R-Memcached can maintain very good latency and throughput performance even during the period of node failures.

Fabrication of Microlens Array and Its Application:A Review

Microlens arrays are the key component in the next generation of 3D imaging system, for it exhibits some good optical properties such as extremely large field of view angles, low aberration and distortion, high temporal resolution and infinite depth of field. Although many fabrication methods or processes are proposed for manufacturing such precision component, however, those methods still need to be improved. In this review, those fabrication methods are categorized into direct and indirect method and compared in detail. Two main challenges in manufacturing microlens array are identified: how to obtain a microlens array with good uniformity in a large area and how to produce the microlens array on a curved surface? In order to effectively achieve control of the geometry of a microlens,indirect methods involving the use of 3D molds and replication technologies are suggested. Further development of ultraprecision machining technology is needed to reduce the surface fluctuation by considering the dynamics of machine tool in tool path planning. Finally, the challenges and opportunities of manufacturing microlens array in industry and academic research are discussed and several principle conclusions are drawn.

Understanding of animal spatial behavior is essential for informed management *** southern Africa,reintroduction of lions(Panthera leo)to small reserves(wing 3 years their home range sizes continued to increase,but in each individual case the size remained smaller than half of the reserve area(60 separate visits)around the largest dam and along rivers suggest the importance of water and its surrounding vegetation in the lions’space utilization *** home range size did not differ with season or sex of the individuals,whereas shifts in locations of home ranges revealed differences in the response of the 2 sexes to territorial conflicts and management *** study shows a dynamic home range utilization pattern and highlights the importance of both fine-scale space use patterns(frequency and duration of visits)and broadscale home range changes in understanding the ranging behavior of reintroduced animals.

Spatial-temporal evolution of injection-induced earthquakes in the Weiyuan Area determined by machine-learning phase picker and waveform cross-correlation

Anthropogenic induced seismicity has been widely reported and investigated in many regions,including the shale gas fields in the Sichuan basin,where the frequency of earthquakes has increased substantially since the commencement of fracking in late ***,the details of how earthquakes are induced remain poorly understood,partly due to lack of high-resolution spatial-temporal data documenting the evolution of such seismic *** previous studies have been based on a diffusive earthquake catalog constructed by routine ***,however,we have constructed a high resolution catalog using a machine learning detector and waveform *** limited data,this new approach has detected one-third more earthquakes and improves the magnitude completeness of the catalog,illuminating the comprehensive spatial-temporal migration of the emerging seismicity in the target *** of the clusters clearly delineates a potential unmapped fault trace that may have led to the Mw 5.2 in September 2019,by far the largest earthquake recorded in the *** migration of the seismicity also demonstrates a pore-pressure diffusion front,suggesting additional constraints on the inducing mechanism of the *** patterns of the highly clustered seismicity reconcile the causal link between the emerging seismicity and the activity of hydraulic fracturing in the region,facilitating continued investigation of the mechanisms of seismic induction and their associated risks.
