中医药的传承发展在国家中医药现代化号角下已然蓬勃发展几十年,多元发展与争论并存,然而研究者却鲜有从新时代患者角度去思考新形势下的中医药事业。文章从患者需求出发讨论中医药的优势与劣势,并提出以具整体观的组学技术桥接中西医诊疗研究,以统计方法整合量化多平台数据的思路。希望在完整保有中医诊疗体系的基础上,合理量化中医诊疗结果、桥接现代研究诊断指标,以更好服务患者;同时也为中医快速准确诊断、中药研究机制可视化、疗效与疾病转归可预测提供参考和新思路。

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) usually takes decades to develop into cirrhosis,which limits the longitudinal study of *** work aims at developing a NAFLD-caused cirrhosis model in gerbil and examining the dynamic relationship between hepatic lipid metabolism and *** fed gerbil a high-fat and high-cholesterol diet(HFHCD) for 24 weeks,and recorded the gerbil’s phenotype at 3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24 *** model’s pathological process,lipid metabolism,oxidative stress,liver collagen deposition and presence of relevant cytokines were tested and evaluated during the full-time frame of disease *** gerbil model can induce non-alcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH) within 9 weeks,and can develop cirrhosis after 21 weeks *** model’s lipids metabolism disorder is accompanied with the liver damage *** the NAFLD progression,triglycerides(TG) and free fatty acids(FFA) have presented distinct rise and fall tendency,and the turning points are at the fibrosis *** that,the ratios of total cholesterol(CHO) to high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C) exhibited constant growth tendency,and have a good linear relationship with HSC(R2 = 0.802,P < 0.001).The gerbil NAFLD cirrhosis model has been developed and possesses positive correlation between lipids metabolism and *** compelling rise and fall tendency of TG and FFA indicated that the fibrosis progression can lead to impairment in lipoprotein synthesis and engender decreased TG ***/HDL-C ratios can imply the fibrosis progress and be used as a blood indicator for disease prediction and prevention.

Consumer acceptance of cultured meat is expected to depend on a wide diversity of determinants ranging from technologyrelated perceptions to product-specific expectations, and including wider contextual factors like media coverage, public involvement, and trust in science, policy and society. This paper discusses the case of cultured meat against this multitude of possible determinants shaping future consumer acceptance or rejection. The paper also presents insights from a primary exploratory study performed in April 2013 with consumers from Flanders（Belgium）（n=180）. The concept of cultured meat was only known（unaided） by 13% of the study participants. After receiving basic information about what cultured meat is, participants expressed favorable expectations about the concept. Only 9% rejected the idea of trying cultured meat, while two thirds hesitated and about quarter indicated to be willing to try it. The provision of additional information about the environmental benefits of cultured meat compared to traditional meat resulted in 43% of the participants indicating to be willing to try this novel food, while another 51% indicated to be ‘maybe＇ willing to do so. Price and sensory expectations emerged as major obstacles. Consumers eating mostly vegetarian meals were less convinced that cultured meat might be healthy, suggesting that vegetarians may not be the ideal primary target group for this novel meat substitute. Although exploratory rather than conclusive, the findings generally underscore doubts among consumers about trying this product when it would become available, and therefore also the challenge for cultured meat to mimic traditional meat in terms of sensory quality at an affordable price in order to become acceptable for future consumers.

The applicability of statistical typologies that capture farming systems diversity in innovation and development projects would increase if their adaptability would be enhanced,so that newly encountered farms can be classified and used to update the *** this paper we propose Naıve Bayesian(NB)classification as a method to allocate farms to types by using only a few variables,thus allowing the addition of new entries to a *** show for two example datasets that the performance of NB classification is already acceptable when 50% of the original survey dataset to construct the typology is used for training the NB *** our datasets,the performance of Naı¨ve Bayesian classification was improved when probabilities for observations to belong to multiple types were used,requiring a sample size of 30% of the survey *** on the results in this paper,we argue that NB classification is a powerful and promising statistical approach to increase the adaptability and usability of farm typologies.

Breaching flow occurs during the breach development of the embankment, dike, earthen dam, landslide barrier, etc. and plays an import role in the breaching erosion as the driving force. According to the previous research, the breaching process can be classified into initiation phase, breach widening phase and breach deepening phase. Based on the breaching development classifications, the breaching flow can be seen as a special compound weir flow when the breach channel is in the relatively equilibrium condition. There were five physical flow models were designed in the hypothesis of rectangular shape and trapezoidal shape for the breach channel cross sections to study the breaching flow characteristics. The distributions of water level and velocity were measured and analysed in the breaching flows in overtopping condition and emerged condition. There were two helicoidal flows above the breach channel slopes and triangular hydraulic jump in the downstream of the breach channel in the overtopping condition and emerged condition. The hydraulic energy loss was calculated according to the breaching velocity and water level distribution in the upstream and downstream of the model. It is found that the test results of the breach flow physical model can be valuable to bring insight of the breaching process of embankment and make contributions to the validations and verifications of breach numerical models.

Twenty-four hours multichannel intraesophageal impedance and pH monitoring in a patient who suffered from recurrent hiccups for more than a year revealed frequent supragastric belching and pathological oesophageal acid exposure. Furthermore, a temporal relationship between the start of a hiccup episode and gastric belching was observed. The data support the hypothesis that there is an association between supragastric belching, persistent recurrent hiccups and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, and that gastric belching may evoke hiccup attacks.

Airline operators face accidental damages on their fleet of aircraft as part of operational *** occurrences are hard to predict;consequently,the approach towards repairing accidental damage is reactive in aircraft maintenance ***,by aggregating occurrence data and predicting future occurrence rates,it is possible to predict future long-term(strategic)demand for maintenance *** this paper,a novel approach for integration of reliability modelling and inventory control is ***,the concept of a base stock policy has been translated to the maintenance slot capacity problem to determine long-term cost-optimal *** has been modelled using a superposed Non-homogeneous Poisson Process(NHPP).A case study has been performed on damage data from a fleet of Boeing 777 *** results prove the feasibility of adopting an integrated approach towards strategic capacity identification,using real-life data to predict future damage occurrence and associated maintenance slot requirements.

Diagnostic yield of small bowel capsule endoscopy depends on the small bowel transit time

AIM:To investigate whether the small bowel transit time(SBTT)influences the diagnostic yield of capsule endoscopy(CE).METHODS:Six hundred and ninety-one consecutive CE procedures collected in a database were *** and CE findings were recorded.A running mean for the SBTT was calculated and correlated to the diagnostic yield with a Spearman's correlation *** analyses were performed for the various indications for the ***:There was a positive correlation between the diagnostic yield and SBTT(Spearman's rho 0.58,P <0.01).Positive correlations between diagnostic yield and SBTT were found for the indication obscure gastrointestinal bleeding(r=0.54,P<0.01),for polyposis and carcinoid combined(r=0.56,P<0.01)and for the other indications(r=0.90,P<0.01),but not for suspected Crohn's disease(r=-0.40).CONCLUSION:The diagnostic yield in small bowel capsule endoscopy is positively correlated with the small bowel transit *** is true for all indications except for suspected Crohn's disease.
