The cultivation of seed mixtures for local pastures is a traditional mixed cropping technique of cereals and legumes for producing,at a low production cost,a balanced animal feed in energy and protein in livestock *** considerably improving the autonomy and safety of agricultural systems,as well as reducing their impact on the environment,it is a type of crop that responds favorably to both the evolution of the European regulations on the use of phytosanitary products and the expectations of consumers who wish to increase their consumption of organic ***,farmers find it difficult to adopt it because cereals and legumes do not ripen synchronously and the harvested seeds are heterogeneous,making it more difficult to assess their nutritional *** efforts therefore remain to be made to acquire and aggregate technical and economical references to evaluate to what extent the cultivation of seed mixtures could positively contribute to securing and reducing the costs of herd *** work presented in this paper proposes new Artificial Intelligence techniques that could be transferred to an online or smartphone application to automatically estimate the nutritional value of harvested seed mixes to help farmers better manage the yield and thus engage them to promote and contribute to a better knowledge of this type of *** this purpose,an original open image dataset has been built containing 4,749 images of seed mixes,covering 11 seed varieties,with which 2 types of recent deep learning models have been *** results highlight the potential of this method and show that the best-performing model is a recent state-of-the-art vision transformer pre-trained with self-supervision(Bidirectional Encoder representation from Image Transformer).It allows an estimation of the nutritional value of seed mixtures with a coefficient of determination R^(2)score of 0.91,which demonstrates the interest of this type of approach,for its possible use

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a rapidly rising cause of liver-related death worldwide. Most patients are diagnosed at an advanced stage of disease, when systemic therapy is the only viable option for treatment. Significant strides have been made in the molecular understanding of HCC development and growth stimulation. The c-Met pathway has been found to be an important pathway in half of all patients with HCC. HCC tumors with high c-Met activation are associated with an aggressive phenotype and poor prognosis. Tivantinib is a MET receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor with a broad spectrum of anti-tumor effects currently being studied for the treatment of HCC. Phase Ⅰ and Ⅱ data are available for tivantinib in the treatment of solid tumors, including HCC. There appears to be an adequate safety profile, with the main side-effect being neutropenia. In HCC patients with elevated c-Met activity, tivantinib results in an improved time to progression of 2.7 months, compared with 1.4 months in placebo-treated patients. Further studies are ongoing, but early data suggest that tivantinib is a therapy that deserves close attention in the coming years for patients with HCC.

Background Cardiac rehabilitation （CR） protocols have diversified to include home-based cardiac tele-rehabilitation （HBCTR） as an alternative to hospital-based or center-based CR. To adopt the use of home-based cardiac tele-rehabilitation, it is necessary to assess cardiac patients＇ attitudes towards acceptance of such e-health technology, especially in China where knowledge of such technology is deficient. Methods Interviews were conducted in the First Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University Medical College, Shantou, China. After percutaneous coronary interventional （PCI） surgery, patients completed the survey. Results Among the 150 patients, only 13% had ever heard of HBCTR. After an introduction of our HBCTR program, 60% of patients were willing to participate in the program. From our multivariate analysis of questionnaire data, age （OR： 0.92, 95% CI： 0.864）.98; P = 0.007）, average family monthly income （OR： 0.13, 95% CI： 0.05-0.341 P 〈 0.001）, education level （OR： 0.24, 95% CI： 0.10-0.59; P = 0.002） and physical exercise time （OR： 0.19, 95% CI： 0.06-0.56; P = 0.003） were independent predictors for acceptance of HBCTR. From the reasons for participation, patients selected： enhanced safety and independ ence （28.3%）, ability to self-monitor physical conditions daily （25 A%）, and having automatic and emergency alert （23.1%）. Reasons for refusal were： too cumbersome operation （34.3%） and unnecessary protocol （19.4%）. Conclusions Most patients lacked knowledge about HBCTR but volunteered to participate after they have learned about the program. Several personal and life-style factors influenced their acceptance of the program. These indicate that both improvement of technology and better understanding of the program will enhance active participation.

Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of death in women in the United *** general,patients with breast cancer undergo surgical resection of the tumor and/or receive drug treatment to kill or suppress the growth of cancer *** this regard,small molecule kinase inhibitors serve as an important class of drugs used in clinical and research ***,the development of resistance to these compounds,in particular HER2 and CDK4/6 inhibitors,often limits durable clinical responses to *** evidence indicates that PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway hyperactivation is one of the most prominent mechanisms of resistance to many small molecule inhibitors as it bypasses upstream growth factor receptor ***,the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway also plays a pertinent role in regulating various aspects of cancer *** studies from our lab and others have demonstrated that altered lipid metabolism mediates the development of acquired drug resistance to HER2-targeted therapies in breast cancer,raising an interesting link between reprogrammed kinase signaling and lipid *** appears that,upon development of resistance to HER2 inhibitors,breast cancer cells rewire lipid metabolism to somehow circumvent the inhibition of kinase ***,we review various mechanisms of resistance observed for kinase inhibitors and discuss lipid metabolism as a potential therapeutic target to overcome acquired drug resistance.

BACKGROUND There is limited evidence on the safety of immunotherapy use after liver transplantation and its efficacy in treating post-liver transplant hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)*** To assess the safety of immunotherapy after liver transplant and its efficacy in treating post-liver transplant HCC *** A literature review was performed to identify patients with prior liver transplantation and subsequent *** reviewed the rejection rate and risk factors of *** patients treated for HCC,the oncological outcomes were evaluated including objective response rate,progression-free survival(PFS),and overall survival(OS).RESULTS we identified 25 patients from 16 publications and 3 patients from our institutional database(total n=28).The rejection rate was 32%(n=9).Early mortality occurred in 21%(n=6)and was mostly related to acute rejection(18%,n=5).Patients who developed acute rejection were given immunotherapy earlier after transplantation(median 2.9 years vs 5.3 years,P=0.02)and their graft biopsies might be more frequently programmed death ligand-1-positive(100%vs 33%,P=0.053).Their PFS(1.0±0.1 mo vs 3.5±1.1 mo,P=0.02)and OS(1.0±0.1 mo vs 19.2±5.5 mo,P=0.001)compared inferiorly to patients without *** the 19 patients treated for HCC,the rejection rate was 32%(n=6)and the overall objective response rate was 11%.The median PFS and OS were 2.5±1.0 mo and 7.3±2.7 mo after *** Rejection risk is the major obstacle to immunotherapy use in liver transplant *** studies on the potential risk factors of rejection are warranted.

Cationic organobismuth complex as an effective catalyst for conversion of CO_(2) into cyclic carbonates

In order to achieve high-efficiency conversion of CO_(2) into valuable chemicals,and to exploit new applications of organobismuth compounds,cationic organobismuth complex with 5,6,7,12-tetrahydrodibenz[c,f][1,5]azabismocine framework was examined for the first time for the coupling of CO_(2) into cyclic carbonates,using terminal epoxides as substrates and tetrabutylammonium halide as co-catalyst in a solvent-free environment under mild *** is shown that the catalyst exhibited high activity and selectivity for the coupling reaction of CO_(2) with a wide range of terminal *** selectivity of propylene carbonates could reach 100%,and the maximum turnover frequency was up to 10740 h^(-1) at 120℃ and 3 MPa CO_(2) pressure when tetrabutylammonium iodide was used as ***,the catalyst is environment friendly,resistant to air and water,and can be readily reused and recycled without any loss of activity,demonstrating a potential in industrial application.

BACKGROUND Mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR)inhibitors have been shown to reduce the risk of tumour recurrence after liver transplantation for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).However,their role in established post-transplant HCC recurrence is *** To investigate whether mTOR inhibitor offers a survival benefit in posttransplant HCC *** A retrospective study of 143 patients who developed HCC recurrence after liver transplantation was *** were divided into 2 groups based on whether they had received mTOR inhibitor-based *** primary endpoint was post-recurrence *** Seventy-nine(55%)patients received an mTOR inhibitor-based immunosuppressive regime,while 64(45%)patients did *** mTOR inhibitor group had a lower number of recurrent tumours(2 vs 5,P=0.02)and received more active treatments including radiotherapy(39 vs 22%,P=0.03)and targeted therapy(59 vs 23%,Pwas 21.0±4.1 mo in the mTOR inhibitor group and 11.2±2.5 mo in the control *** Cox regression analysis confirmed that mTOR inhibitor therapy was independently associated with improved post-recurrence survival(P=0.04,OR=0.482,95%CI:0.241-0.966).The number of recurrent tumours and use of other treatment modalities did not affect *** survival difference was observed between mTOR inhibitor monotherapy and combination therapy with calcineurin *** mTOR inhibitors prolonged survival after post-transplant HCC recurrence.
