New Material of Zhenyuanopterus(Pterosauria) from the Early Cretaceous Yixian Formation of Western Liaoning

A new partial specimen of Zhenyuanopterus from the Lower Cretaceous Yixian Formation of Beipiao city, Liaoning Province is described. This specimen is slightly larger than half the size of the holotype. Although it is not complete, it provides new information on Zhenyuanopterus both in taxonomy and ontogeny： the total number of the caudal vertebrae is 15; the forelimb is more robust than the hindlimb; the growth rate of the humerus and femur is constant, and their ratio is about 1. Compared with the holotype, the scapula and coracoid grow faster than the humerus and the femur. The scapula and coracoid may slow their growth rate after a certain ontogenetic stage. The pectoral girdle, robust forelimb and weak hindlimb of the new material（XHPM1088） together with data from the holotype of Zhenyuanopterus indicate that this taxon spent less time on land than in the sky or other ecological niches such as forests and cliffs.

3D Printing,also called Additive Manufacturing,has become a promising manufacturing method to produce parts in various fields as it can produce parts even with very irregular shapes in a relatively shorter process and ***,during the printing process,some problems could decrease the accuracy and quality of the printed parts,such as warpage due to thermal strains,deformation due to inadequate supports,*** finite element method is most commonly adopted to evaluate engineering problems in advance to reduce possible failures;however,the element meshes,needed for analyses,are always irregularly distributed,especially for irregular objects,and cannot match the layer-by-layer growing shapes of the printed parts in the 3D printing *** a proper element mesh,the analysis cannot be *** overcome this problem,a layer-based mesh generator combined with a corresponding scheme for the 3D Printing simulation is proposed and *** the proposed methods,the analysis models can be designed and generated to match the growing shapes,i.e.,layer-by-layer,and used to simulate the layer-by-layer growing behavior in the 3D printing ***,the proposed schemes directly adopt the Stereo-Lithography(STL)formatted geometric data as the geometry model on which the mesh generation and simulation are *** makes them even easier to use since the STL geometry format is a De facto standard format used in the 3D printing *** simulation cases have been conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of these proposed schemes.

Identification of carriers of fragile X syndrome(FXS) with the subsequent prenatal diagnosis and knowledge of FXS-associated genetic profiles are essential for intervention in specific populations. We report the results of carrier screening of 39,458 East Asian adult women and prenatal diagnosis from 87 FXS *** prevalence of FXS carriers and full mutation fetuses was estimated to be 1/581 and 1/3124 in East Asian populations, respectively. We confirmed the validity of the current threshold of CGG trinucleotide repeats for FMR1 categorization;the integral risks of full mutation expansion were approximately 6.0%,43.8%, and 100% for premutation alleles with 55—74, 75—89, and ≥ 90 CGG repeats, respectively. The protective effect of AGG(adenine-guanine-guanine nucleotides) interruption in East Asian populations was validated, which is important in protecting premutation alleles with 75—89 CGG repeats from full mutation expansion. Finally, family history was shown not an effective indicator for FXS carrier screening in East Asian populations, and population-based screening was more cost-effective. This study provides an insight into the largest carrier screening and prenatal diagnosis for FXS in East Asian populations to date. The FXSassociated genetic profiles of East Asian populations are delineated, and population-based carrier screening is shown to be promising for FXS intervention.

In-situ Observation of Initiation and Propagation of Cleavage Microcrack in TiAl

Nucleating and propagating of nanocrack formed in dislocation free zone (DFZ) for the brittle TiAl alloy has been studied through in-situ tensile test in TEM and analyzed using microfracture mechanics. The results show that a lot of dislocations can be emitted from a crack tip when the applied stress intensity K-la is larger than the stress intensity for dislocation emission K-le = 1.4 MPa . m(1/2) and a dislocation free zone, which sometimes is a close zone, can form after reaching equilibrium. The DFZ is a elastic zone with large strain and then the stress in the DFZ might equal to the cohesive strength sigma(th) because the crack tip is still sharp. When K-la is larger than the stress intensity for nanocrack nucleation K-li = 2.4 MPa . m(1/2), the stress within a certain range in the DFZ would equal to sigma(th) and then a nanocrack initiates in the DFZ or sometimes at the notch tip. The nanocrack formed in the DFZ is stable and can propagate a small distance in cleavage mode through multiplication and movement of dislocation in the plastic zone, during keeping constant displacement. Increasing K-la, can make the crack stably propagate continuously or discontinuously and it means that the stress intensify for crack propagation, K-lp, is larger than K-li. The goal of this study is to reduce the energy consumption of the sensing network and enhance the overall life cycle of the *** study proposes a data fusion algorithm for wireless sensor networks based on improved ant colony optimization(IACO)to reduce the amount of data transmitted by wireless sensor networks(WSN).This study updates pheromones for multiple optimal routes to improve the global optimal route in search *** algorithm proposed in this study can reduce node energy consumption,improve network load balancing and prolong network life *** data fusion,regression analysis model and information processing of each node,this study uses an improved ant colony algorithm to identify the transferals avoid superfluous energy waste caused by long-span network transferal,set the shortest route and transmit data to the central *** algorithm proposed in this study is conducive to improving the life cycle and stable network,that is,the most suitable and effective way to improve the energy consumption rate of the sensing nodes.

The objective of this research is to embed information in personalized stamps by modified digital halftoning techniques. The displaced and deformed halftone dots are used to encode data in the personalized stamps. Hidden information can be retrieved by either an optical decoder or digital image processing techniques. The results show that personalized stamps with value-added features like data hiding or digital watermarking can be successfully implemented.

Password authentication schemes based on a geometric approach are proposed. Based on geometrics such as a plane or space, the proposed schemes can be used to fulfill the various requirements for security and achieve more efficient results. They allow a user to register with many servers once without remembering different passwords for each, and also allow a user to change the password freely and update it offline. In addition, the proposed schemes do not need to maintain a verification table and are also computationally efficient. Moreover, we propose a specific access right (AR) to verify the legitimate user who has different authorization levels on a server in a multi-server environment.

Indonesia is a producer in the fisheries sector,with production reaching 14.8 million tons in *** production potential of the fisheries sector can be optimally optimized through aquaculture *** of the most important issues in aquaculture management is how to efficiently control the fish pond water *** technology can be applied to support a fish pond aquaculture monitoring system,especially for catfish species(Siluriformes),in real-time and *** of the technologies that can provide this convenience is the *** problem of this study is how to integrate IoT devices with Firebase’s cloud data system to provide reliable and precise data,which makes it easy for fish cultivators to monitor fishpond conditions in real time and *** IoT aquaculture fishpond monitoring use 3 parameters:(1)water temperature;(2)pHwater level;and(3)turbidity level of pond *** devices use temperature sensors,pH sensors,and turbidity sensors,which are integrated with a microcontroller and Wi-Fi *** from sensor readings are sent to the Firebase cloud via theWi-Fi module so that it can be accessed in real time by end users with an Androidbased mobile *** findings are(1)the IoT-based aquaculture monitoring system device has a low error rate in measuring temprature,pH,and turbidity with a percentage of 1.75%,1.94% and 9.78%,***,the total average error of the three components is 4.49%;(2)in cost analysis,IoT-based has a cost-effectiveness of 94.21% compared to labor *** IoT-based aquaculture monitoring system using Firebase can be effectively used as a technology for monitoring fish pond conditions in real-time and remotely for fish cultivators that contribute to providing an IoT-based aquaculture monitoring system that produces valid data,is precise,is easy to implement,and is a low-cost system.
