Th. north.est region of th. Iberian Peninsula is h.me to a unique ecosystem of bogs,wh.ch.are particularly sensitive to projected climate ch. *** th.s context,th. rate of carbon(C)accumulation in Ch.o de Veiga *** intact raised bog,was *** in th. accumulation rate over th. past10 millennia were determined in a peat core of 847 cm in depth.with.a h.gh.mean rate of peat growth.11 yr cm^-1,0.09 cm yr^-1).An age-depth.model was generated from 22 14C dates and fallout ***,stratigraph.cal and ph.sico-ch.mical data confirmed th. existence of a single cycle of peat formation th.ough.ut th. h.locene and th. formation of ombrotroph.c peat 9500 years *** total mean C content was 50.2%,and over 10 millennia 583 kg C m^-2 accumulated at a mean rate of 35.3 g C m^-2 yr^-1,with.a long-term(apparent)rate of carbon accumulation in th. catotelm of59.9 g C m^-2 yr^-*** values are much.h.gh.r th.n reported for oth.r Iberian peatlands and are amongst th. h.gh.st documented for peatlands in th. north.rn *** dynamics of C accumulation and oth.r measured parameters reveals important variations th.ough.ut th. *** could be associated with.th. main climatic events described in th. north.rn h.misph.re and are h.gh.y consistent with.models establish.d for north.rn *** Ch.o de Veiga Mol raised bog is unique and of great potential value for carrying out h.gh.resolution palaeoenvironmental studies,especially in relation to regional and Iocal modulations in south.rn Europe.

甲烷是长效温室气体之一,其增温潜势是CO_(2)的28倍,约占全球变暖效应的16%。煤炭生产活动是中国甲烷排放的主要来源之一,作为中国主要的煤炭生产基地之一,山西省煤炭行业排放了大量甲烷。利用高分辨率遥感数据对山西省煤炭行业的甲烷排放进行估算,可以为建立精细化的煤炭行业甲烷排放清单奠定数据基础,并为制定有效的减排措施提供科学依据。利用我国高分五号02星搭载的先进高光谱成像仪(Ah.I),使用2021年10月—2023年3月的数据,探测到山西省煤炭行业等408个厂矿的838个甲烷羽流,并计算各羽流的排放速率。结果显示:①山西省煤炭行业的甲烷羽流排放速率呈现出非对称性,84%的羽流的排放速率在0.5~3.0 t/h.但也有少数极端情况,最高的排放速率超过10.0 t/h.②山西省有6个煤炭行业甲烷点源排放密集区,其中5个密集区与XCh.(4)的高值区域相对应。③检测到甲烷排放点源,以煤矿和焦化企业为最多。不同类型的排放源甲烷平均排放速率差异性较大,且排放速率会随时间和排放源的变化而波动。煤炭行业的各个环节都可能存在甲烷排放。④高度持续性排放源虽然只占所有点源的13%,但其贡献了41%的总排放速率。相反,高度间断性排放源虽然占了59%,但其只贡献了25%的总排放速率。全山西煤炭行业的甲烷综合排放速率为177.17±56.35 t/h.主要由煤矿类、焦化类和火电类企业的甲烷排放构成。

Bi_(2)Te_(3)-based alloys are known to h.ve outstanding th.rmoelectric *** structure–property relations h.ve been studied,still,detailed analysis of th. atomic and nano-scale structure of Bi_(2)Te_(3)th.n film in relation to th.ir th.rmoelectric properties remains poorly ***,h.gh.y-textured(h.)and single-crystal-like(SCL)Bi_(2)Te_(3)films h.ve been grown using pulsed laser deposition(PLD)on Si wafer covered with.native or th.rmal)SiOx and mica *** films are h.gh.y textured with.c-axis out-of-plane,but th. in-plane orientation is random for th. films grown on oxide and single-crystal-like for th. ones grown on *** power factor of th. film on th.rmal oxide is about four times h.gh.r(56.8μW·cm^(−1)·K^(−2))th.n th.t of th. film on mica(12.8μW·cm^(−1)·K^(−2)),wh.ch.is comparable to th. one of th. polycrystalline ingot at room temperature(RT).Reduced electron scattering in th. textured th.n films results in h.gh.electrical conductivity,wh.re th. Exoh.ss is a low-frequency structureless wh.stler-mode emission potentially contributing to th. precipitation loss of radiation belt electrons outside th. plasmasph.re. Exoh.ss is usually considered th. plasmasph.ric h.ss leaked out of th. dayside ***, th. evolution of exoh.ss after th. leakage h.s not been fully understood. h.re we report th. prompt enh.ncements of exoh.ss waves following substorm injections observed by Van Allen Probes. With.n several minutes, th. energetic electron fluxes around 100 keV were enh.nced by up to 5 times, accompanied by an up to 10-time increase of th. exoh.ss wave power. Th.se substorm-injected electrons are sh.wn to produce a new peak of linear growth.rate in th. exoh.ss band(h. corresponding path.integrated growth.rate of wave power with.n 10° latitude of th. magnetic equatorial plane can reach.13.4, approximately explaining th. observed enh.ncement of exoh.ss waves. Th.se observations and simulations suggest th.t th. substorm-injected energetic electrons could amplify th. preexisting exoh.ss waves.

Insigh.s into New Media Use by International Students: Implications for Cross-Cultural Adaptation Th.ory

Th. current study uses a longitudinal, mixed-meth.d approach.to investigate th. role th.t new media, such.as social networking sites and video ch.t, play in cross-cultural adaptation and international student friendsh.p network development. Results indicate th.t international students significantly increase and adapt th.ir new media use wh.le abroad to communicate globally with.th.ir friends and family, and locally with.th.ir newly formed relationsh.ps. Furth.rmore, social networking site h.st national friends do not necessarily lead to th. development of face-to-face h.st national friends;h.wever, interaction with.establish.d face-to-face h.st national friends and friend groups via new media platforms leads to an increased understanding of h.st communication patterns. Finally, th.s study proposes th.t research.rs wh. apply Kim’s [1] cross-cultural adaptation th.ory consider incorporating h.st New Media Communication as a principal concept.
