In recent years,solution-processible semiconductors with perovskite or perovskite-inspired structures have been extensively investigated for optoelectronic *** particular,silver-bismuth-halides have been identified as especially promising because of their bulk properties and lack of heavily toxic *** study investigates the potential of Ag2BiI5 for near-infrared(NIR)-blind visible light photodetection,which is critical to emerging applications(e.g.,wearable optoelectronics and the Internet of Things).Self-powered photodetectors were realized and provided a near-constant≈100 mA W−1 responsivity through the visible,a NIR rejection ratio of>250,a long-wavelength responsivity onset matching standard colorimetric functions,and a linear photoresponse of>5 orders of *** optoelectronic characterization of Ag2BiI5 photodetectors additionally revealed consistency with one-center models and the role of the carrier collection distance in self-powered *** study provides a positive outlook of Ag2BiI5 toward emerging applications on low-cost and low-power NIR-blind visible light photodetector.

Objective Precipitation was the highest in the loess plateau during the Early Holocene 10-8 ka BP even to the period 10-3.0 ka BP in the Kesang cave stalagmite westward Tianshan,Xinjiang,based on large numbers of records from paleoclimatic proxies(An et al.,2000;Zhang et al.,2009;Zhang et al.,2018).However,we discovered at first time that floodplain lake-eolian stratigraphical rhythm complex kept in the Lujiagou of Dingxi,Gansu,which was important geological proof to indicate a weak summer monsoon transition period during the Early Holocene in the Chinese Loess Plateau.

The Qaidam Basin （NW China） at the northern margin of the Tibetan Plateau is one of the driest places on Earth with mean annual precipitation not exceeding 25 mm in the western central part. Flat salt plains and wind-shaped hills characterise the bare ground over thousands of square kilometres. In contrast to presentday conditions, remnants of ancient shorelines in high positions identified by Chen and Bowler （1986） and HiJvermann and Siissenberger （1986） about 20 years ago herald of a former large lake but were not investigated further till now. Here we present the results of microfossil analysis and optically stimulated luminescence （OSL） as well as uranium-series （TIMS） dating of sediments from a thick sequence of predominantly lake deposits in the eastern central Qaidam Basin. Based on abundant ostracod （micro-crustacean） shells from this sequence, we infer that a large lake of several metres depth at least maintained primarily fresh to oligohaline conditions in the late Middle Pleistocene.

Bone metastases have a major impact on quality of life and survival of patients with advanced prostate cancer,in the last decade,the development and approval of substances inhibiting the vicious cycle of bone metastases have enabled the reduction of complications caused by bone metastases in patients with castration-resistant prostate *** drugs have raised awareness of the importance of skeletal-related events which in the meantime represent an important end point also in trials using agents not specifically designed for bone ***-generation antihormona]drugs such as enzalutamide or abiraterone have been shown to have a positive impact on the incidence of skeletal complications and therefore provide an important tool in the armamentarium used for treating bone *** such as radium-223 dichloride([^223Ra])have been demonstrated not only to reduce skeletal-related events and bone-related pain,but also to prolong overall survival,thereby being the first bone-targeting agent showing a survival *** previous studies have not provided an obvious benefit of bone-targeted lesions in castration-sensitive disease,the use of these agents is not *** oligometastatic prostate cancer,the role of local treatment of metastases using stereotactic radiation or radiosurgery is a matter of intense debates and may play an increasing role in the future.

III-V compound semiconductor nanowires are generally characterized by the coexistence of zincblende and wurtzite structures. So far, this polytypism has impeded the determination of the electronic properties of the metastable wurtzite phase of GaAs, which thus remain highly controversial. In an effort to obtain new insights into this topic, we cross-correlate nanoscale spectral imaging by near-field scanning optical microscopy with a transmission electron microscopy analysis of the very same polytypic GaAs nanowire dispersed onto a Si wafer. Thus, spatially resolved photoluminescence spectra could be unambiguously assigned to nanowire segments whose structure is known with lattice-resolved accuracy. An emission energy of 1.528 eV was observed from extended zincblende segments, revealing that the dispersed nanowire was under uniaxial strain presumably due to interaction with its supporting substrate. These crucial information and the emission energy obtained for extended pure wurtzite segments were used to perform envelope function calculations of zincblende quantum disks in a wurtzite matrix as well as the inverse structure. In these calculations, we varied the fundamental bandgap, the electron mass, and the band offset between zincblende and wurtzite GaAs. From this multi-parameter comparison with the experimental data, we deduced that the bandgap between the F8 conduction and A valence band ranges from 1.532 to 1.539 eV in strain-free wurtzite GaAs, and estimated values of 1.507 to 1.514 eV for the F7-A bandgap.

The effect of different rainfall patterns on surface runoff,infiltration and thus soil losses and sediment concentrations are still in the focus of current *** most simulated rainfall experiments,pre-cipitation is applied at a fixed intensity for a fixed ***,the impact of rainfall patterns on soil erosion processes may be different varying the rainfall duration and intensity that produces an event with similar rainfall erosivity ***-five rainfall events were applied on micro-scale runoff plots in a soil covered with corn straw to evaluate the sediment yield and runoff *** different rainfall types were composed by association of duration(Dur)and intensity(IP)with the same erosivity *** Dur varied from 38 to 106 min and the IP varied from 75.0 to 44.6 mm h^(-1).The sediment yield varied from 1.89±1.26 g m^(-2) to 4.02±2.66 g m^(-2) and runoff ranged from 16.9±8.74 mm to 32.63±10.67 mm with highest rates occurring with high intensity and low *** highest rainfall intensity provides the maximum sediment yield(0.138 g m^(-2) min^(-1))and runoff rates(0.87 mm min^(-1)).The time to start surface runoff varied from 14 to 19.2 min and it was longer in treatments with longer durations and low precipitation *** difference was found in the amount of sediments applying rain with the same erosivity and different associations of duration and ***,the intensity and duration of the rain,with the same erosivity,altered the amount and time of *** rainfall experiments with con-stant intensity and fixed time,the erosion rates depend on the duration of the applied ***,the results of this study can contribute to the development of new perspectives in the design of water erosion experiments with simulated rain considering the duration,intensity and also the association of these variables to produce rainfall that delivery the same soil erosion capacity.
