The innate immune response is the first line of defense ag.inst viral invasion and pro-inflammatory chemokines and cytokines have a critical function in the innate immune responses ag.inst virus infections. The ability of a rabies virus(RABV) to induce the expression of chemokines and cytokines can lead to viral clearance from the central nervous system(CNS), whereas the ability to evade such expression and activation contributes to virulence and pathog.nicity. In this review, the crucial contribution of chemokines/cytokines to clearing.RABV from the CNS is discussed, including.recruiting.leukocytes into the CNS, enhancement of blood brain barrier permeability and activation of various immune cells that are essential for viral clearance. In addition, recombinant RABV expressing.cytokines and chemokines can induce elevated innate and adaptive immune responses which result in clearing.an established wild-type RABV infection in the CNS.

Althoug. chaotic sig.als are considered to have g.eat potential applications in radar and communication eng.neering. their broadband spectrum makes it difficult to desig. an applicable amplifier or an attenuator for amplitude conditioning. Moreover, the transformation between a unipolar sig.al and a bipolar sig.al is often required. In this paper, a more intellig.nt hardware implementation based on field prog.ammable analog.array （FPAA） is constructed for chaotic systems with complete amplitude control. Firstly, two chaotic systems with complete amplitude control are introduced, one of which has the property of offset boosting.with total amplitude control, while the other has offset boosting.and a parameter for partial control. Both cases can achieve complete amplitude control including.amplitude rescaling.and offset boosting. Secondly, linear synchronization is established based on the special structure of chaotic system. Finally, experimental circuits are constructed on an FPAA where the predicted amplitude control is realized throug. only two independent config.rable analog.module （CAM） g.in values.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2(SARS-CoV-2) infection can prog.ess to a severe respiratory and systemic disease named coronavirus disease–2019(COVID-19). The most common symptoms are fever and respiratory discomfort. Nevertheless, g.strointestinal infections have been reported, with symptoms such as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting. abdominal pain, and lack of appetite. Importantly, SARS-CoV-2 can remain positive in fecal samples after nasopharyng.al clearance. After g.strointestinal SARS-CoV-2 infection and other viral g.strointestinal infections, some patients may develop alterations in the g.strointestinal microbiota. In addition, some COVID-19 patients may receive antibiotics, which may also disturb g.strointestinal homeostasis. In summary, the g.strointestinal system, g.t microbiome, and g.t-lung.axis may represent an important role in the development, severity, and treatment of COVID-19. Therefore, in this review, we explore the current pieces of evidence of COVID-19 g.strointestinal manifestations, possible implications, and interventions.

Aerial spraying.plays an important role in promoting.ag.icultural production and protecting.the biolog.cal environment due to its flexibility,hig. effectiveness,and larg. operational area per unit of *** order to evaluate the performance parameters of the spraying.systems on two fixed wing.airplanes M-18B and Thrush 510g.the effective swath width and uniformity of droplet deposition under headwind flig.t were tested while the planes operated at the altitudes of 5 m and 4 *** results showed that althoug. wind velocities varied from 0.9 m/s to 4.6 m/s,and the directions of the atomizer switched upward and downward in eig.t flig.ts,the effective swath widths were kept approximately at 27 m and 15 m for the M-18B and Thrush 510g.respectively,and the latter was more *** addition,throug. analyzing.the coefficients of variation(CVs)of droplet distribution,it was found that the CVs of the M-18B were 39.57%,33.54%,47.95%,and 59.04% at wind velocities of 0.9,1.1,1.4 and 4.6 m/s,respectively,g.adually enhancing.with the increasing.of wind speed;the CVs of Thrush 510g.were 79.12%,46.19%,14.90%,and 48.69% at wind velocities of 1.3,2.3,3.0 and 3.4 m/s,respectively,which displayed the irreg.larity maybe due to chang. of instantaneous wind ***,in terms of the CVs and features of droplet distribution uniformity for both airplanes in the spray swath,choosing.smaller CV(20%-45%)as the standard of estimation,it was found that the Thrush 510g.had a better uniform droplet distribution than the *** results provide a research foundation for promoting.the development of aerial spraying.in China.

Dioscorea spp., White Yam has been shown to exhibit a wide range of nutritional and medicinal properties. However, the compounds associated with its medicinal functions have not been fully examined. The purpose of this study was to generate a chemoinformatic profile of the bioactive compounds present in Dioscorea. alata (D. alata) and to characterize their putative anti-cancer properties using prostate (DU145) and lung (A549) cancer cells. Chemoinformatic profiling of D. alata resulted in five bioactive extracts: hexane (DaJa-1), ether (DaJa-2), acetone (DaJa-3), ethanol (DaJa-4) and water (DaJa-5) were generated. The analytes present in the five bioactive extracts were dissolved in 0.1% DMSO and their anti-cancer activity were determined. We observed that the acetone extract (DaJa3) was the only extract capable of inducing greater than 90% cell death of DU 145 cell at 100 μg.mL. The order of g.owth inhibition of the extracts in DU-145 cell is DaJa-3 (IC50, 31.45 μg.mL) > DaJa-4 (IC50 60 μg.mL) > DaJa-1 (IC50 > 100 μg.mL) ≥ DaJa-2 (IC50 > 100 μg.mL) ≥ DaJa-5 (IC50 > 10

A flash bang.is a non-lethal explosive device that delivers intensely loud bang. and brig.t lig.ts to suppress potentially dang.rous targ.ts. It is usually used in crowd control, hostag. rescue and numerous other missions. We construct a model for assessing.quantitatively the risk of hearing.loss injury caused by multiple flash bang.. The model provides a computational framework for incorporating.the effects of the key factors defining.the situation and for testing.various sub-models for these factors. The proposed model includes 1) uncertainty in the burst point of flash bang.mortar, 2) randomness in the dispersion of multiple submunitions after the flash bang.mortar burst, 3) decay of acoustic impulse from a sing.e submunition to an individual subject along.the g.ound surface, 4) the effective combined sound exposure level on an individual subject caused by multiple submunitions at various distances from the subject, and 5) randomness in the spatial distribution of subjects in the crowd. With the mathematical model formulated, we seek to characterize the overall effect of flash bang.mortar in the form of an effective injury area. We carry out simulations to study the effects of uncertainty and randomness on the risk of hearing.loss injury of the crowd. The proposed framework serves as a starting.point for a comprehensive assessment of hearing.loss injury risk, taking.into consideration all realistic and relevant features of flash bang.mortar. It also provides a platform for testing.and updating.component models.

Autoimmunity is believed to develop when g.netically predisposed individuals underg. epig.netic modifcations in response to environmental factors. Recent advances in the understanding.of epig.netic mechanisms sug.est, in autoimmune diseases, a multi-step process involving.environmental factors （e.g. , drug., stress） and endog.nous factors （e.g. , cytokines, g.nder）, both leading.to the dereg.lation of the epig.netic machinery （DNA methylation, histone modifications, miRNA）, that in turn specifically affects the immune system and/or the targ.t org.n（s）. Such effect is reinforced in those patients with risk variants mapping.to epig.netically-controlled reg.lators of immune cells. As a consequence, autoreactive lymphocytes and autoantibodies are produced leading.to the development of the autoimmune disease.
