City Health Examination in China:A Methodology and Empirical Study

National urban planning,construction,and management levels have undergone qualitative changes in China since ***,problems caused by rapid urbanization are becoming increasingly *** concept of the city health examination appears to tackle these problems and is being gradually implemented,starting from the implementation of a national strategy and leading to the concrete practice of high-quality urban *** paper elaborates on the basic philosophy and theory of the city health examination,briefly explains indicator selection and aims,and comprehensively illustrates examination *** then describes the empirical research that operationalized the dataset collected from a satisfaction survey administered during the 2020 city health *** aims to provide a reference for the standardization,specialization,analysis,and application of the results of the city health examination in China;this may help promote a smooth elimination of‘urban diseases’and allow for the development of high-quality livable *** research shows that city residents are generally more satisfied with the landscape features,ecological livability,and security resilience;it also shows that residents are generally more dissatisfied with traffic *** with different characteristics showed different satisfaction levels toward different *** were also shown to be more sensitive to innovation vitality,ecological livability,and health and comfort in considering whether to stay in their current city.

Spatio-temporal Analysis of Urban Spatial Interaction in Globalizing China—A Case Study of Beijing-Shanghai Corridor

This paper aims to explore urban geography with a new perspective. Endowed with the urban geography connotations, an improved data field model is employed to integrate temporal dimension into spatial process of cities in a typical region in this article. Taking the Beijing-Shanghai Corridor including 18 cities as an example, the authors chose the city centricity index (CCI) and the spatial data field model to analyze the evolution process and features of sub-region and urban spatial interaction in this corridor based on the data of 1991, 1996 and 2002. Through the analy- sis, we found that: 1) with the improvement of the urbanization level and the development of urban economy, the cit- ies’ CCI grew, the urban spatial radiative potential enhanced and the radiative range expanded gradually, which reflects the urban spatial interaction’s intensity has been increasing greatly; 2) although the spatial interaction intensity among the cities and sub-regions in the Beijing-Shanghai Corridor was growing constantly, the gap of the spatial interaction strength among different cities and sub-regions was widening, and the spatial division between the developed areas and the less developed areas was obvious; and 3) the intensity of the spatial interaction of Beijing, Shanghai and their urban agglomerations was far greater than that in small cities of other parts of the corridor, and it may have a strong drive force on the choice of spatial location of the economic activities.

Industrial Spatial Agglomeration Using Distance-based Approach in Beijing, China

To study the difference of industrial location among different industries, this article is to test the spatial agglomeration across industries and firm sizes at the city level. Our research bases on a unique plant-level data set of Beijing and employs a distance-based approach, which considers space as continuous. Unlike previous studies, we set two sets of references for service and manufacturing industries respectively to adapt to the investigation in the intra-urban area. Comparing among eight types of industries and different firm sizes, we find that： 1） producer service, high-tech industries and labor-intensive manufacturing industries are more likely to cluster, whereas personal service and capital-intensive industries tend to be randomly dispersed in Beijing; 2） the spillover of the co-location of finns is more important to knowledge-intensive industries and has more significant impact on their allocation than business-oriented services in the intra-urban area; 3） the spatial agglomeration of service industries are driven by larger establishments, whereas manufac- turing industries are mixed.

Sn-fused perylene diimides: Synthesis, mechanism, and properties

The first example of metal Sn-fused perylene diimides(PDI)derivative(Sn-PDI)was designed,synthesized,and *** obtain this type compound,a simple one-pot synthesis,named stannylative cycloaddition reaction,has been successfully developed via a palladium-based catalyst *** novel mechanism exhibits that the reaction experiences oxidative addition,Pd-cyclization,stannylation,Pd-Sn-cyclization,and reductive elimination processes *** stannylative cycloaddition does realize uniqueσ-πhyperconjugation effect and therefore significantly influencing on the photophysical,electrochemical and excited state *** with those of PDI,both of the absorption and fluorescence spectra of Sn-PDI display large red-shifts over 20 *** electron energy levels of Sn-PDI have changed with an uncommon *** Sn-PDI gives a considerably raised highest occupied molecular orbital(HOMO)level of-6.00 eV More importantly,the singlet excitons of Sn-PDI could efficiently intersystem cross(ISC)into triplet state with a long lifetime of 17.8μs,which is far longer than that(4.4 ns)of PDI.

This paper presents a conceptual data model, the STA-model, for handling spatial, temporal and attribute aspects of objects in GIS. The model is developed on the basis of object-oriented modeling approach. This model includes two major parts: (a) modeling the signal objects by STA-object elements, and (b) modeling relationships between STA-objects. As an example, the STA-model is applied for modeling land cover change data with spatial, temporal and attribute components.

Discussion on Sustainable Urbanization in Tibet

After 1995, Tibet entered the stage of accelerated urbanization. The large floating population fi＇om outside Tibet has become the driving force for urban expansion and the rising of urbanization rate. After analyzing the changes of urban functions and spatial structure of urban system in Tibet, this paper argues that before 1995 the urbanization in Tibet was mainly driven by administrative function, resulting in certain population migration, whereas in the past decade economic function has become the key factor accelerating urban expansion with the market mechanism creating large-scale inflow of population. The floating population-based urbanization and high population growth in the agricultural and pastoral areas of Tibet has promoted the regional economic prosperity, but exerted resources and environmental pressure and brought some problems for Tibetan culture protection at the same time. The conflicts and contradictions between urbanization and the sustainability of natural resources, environment and social development have been intensified. Addressing these problems, this paper proposes some countermeasures for improving the sustainability of Tibetan urbanization.

基于微观企业数据的高技术制造业迁移特征分析——以北京市为例

基于2008-2016年北京市规模以上企业数据,运用标准差椭圆、核密度估计、游程检验等方法分析北京市内部高技术制造业企业迁移特征。结果表明:1)从属性特征上看,迁移企业以混合所有制和外资企业为主,中等规模的企业比小微型或大型企业更倾向迁移,同时营收更高的企业更易发生迁移。2)受集聚区根植性和嵌入性影响,超过77.19%的企业倾向于在亦庄经济技术开发区、上地、中关村等主要集聚区内部及其周边的集聚区拓展区迁移。3)北京市高技术制造业企业迁移过程大致分为适应期、迁移期和稳定期3个阶段,小微型企业适应期和达到稳定期的时间都相对较短,其迁移主要受规模增长的影响,而中等规模企业无论是适应期还是寻找新区位的迁移期都需要相对较长的时间,影响迁移的因素也更加复杂多样。

Genetic mechanism of heterosis for rice milling and appearance quality in an elite rice hybrid

Development of hybrid rice with high yield and grain quality is a goal of rice *** investigate the genetic mechanism of heterosis for rice milling and appearance quality in indica/xian rice,QTL mapping was conducted using 1061 recombinant inbred lines(RILs)derived from a cross of the xian rice cultivars Quan 9311B(Q9311B)and Wu-shan-si-miao(WSSM),and a backcross F_(1)(BC_(1)F_(1)) population developed by crossing the RILs with Quan 9311A(Q9311A),combined with phenotyping in two *** F_(1) hybrid(Q9311A×WSSM)showed various degrees of heterosis for milling and appearance quality.A total of 142 main-effect QTL(M-QTL)and 407 pairs of epistatic QTL(E-QTL)were identified for five milling and appearance quality traits and grain yield per plant(GYP)in the RIL,BC_(1)F_(1) and mid-parental heterosis(H_(MP)) *** detection of QTL in three populations revealed that most additive loci detected in the RILs did not show heterotic effects,but some of them did contribute to BC_(1)F_(1) trait *** heterosis of GYP,single-locus overdominance and epistasis were the main contributors to heterosis for milling and appearance *** contributed more to the heterosis for milling quality than to that for appearance ***(four)QTL regions harboring opposite(consistent)directions of favorable allele effects for GYP and grain quality were identified,indicating the presence of partial genetic overlaps between GYP and grain *** strategies are proposed to develop hybrid rice with high yield and good grain quality:1)pyramiding favorable alleles with consistent directions of gene effects for GYP and grain quality at the M-QTL on different chromosomes;2)introgressing favorable alleles for GYP and grain quality into the parents and then pyramiding and fixing these additive effects in hybrids;and 3)pyramiding overdominant and dominant loci and minimizing or eliminating underdominant loci from the parents.

Study on nitrile-degrading microorganisms

Two strains of bacteria were isolated from nitrile polluted soils, and identified as Corynebacterium boffmanii and Arthrobacter flavescens. Acetonitrile, propionitrile, butyronitrile and acrylonitrile were degraded by these bacteria to yield corresponding amides, carboxylic acids and ammonia. The nitrile-degrading abilities of these strains were investigated. The removal rates for the nitrile were nearly 100%, after these bacteria were grown in medium containing 10000 ppm of aceto-, propio-, or butyronitrile at 28 ℃ for 24h. When the reaction mkture consisting of 5000 ppm of above mentioned nitriles or acrylonitrile and 20g (dry cell) /L resting cells of the two strains in 0.06mol/L phosphate buffer (pH7.5) was incubated separately at 25 ℃ with moderate shaking for 15 or 45 min, the nitrile could be degraded completely. The optimum growth conditions for *** and *** were studied as well.

随着儿童友好理念逐渐深入,儿童友好环境建设在城市发展中越来越受到重视。然而针对建设进展如何、存在哪些问题,还缺少深入了解。根据国家发展改革委《关于推进儿童友好城市建设的指导意见》设计指标,基于10个试点城市的问卷调查数据,尝试分析我国城市儿童友好环境建设存在的问题。结果表明,我国城市中直接为儿童服务的设施与空间配套亟待完善,公共空间对儿童友好的支撑存在不足,建设中缺少对不同儿童需求的精细考量,并且大城市及中心城区的问题更为突出。据此提出我国儿童友好环境建设的对策建议,力争为儿童友好城市建设提供参考依据。
