Beyond biogeographic patterns:Processes shaping the microbial landscape in soils and sediments along the Yangtze River

Deciphering biogeographic patterns of microorganisms is important for evaluating the maintenance of microbial diversity with respect to the ecosystem functions they drives.However,ecological processes shaping distribution patterns of microorganisms across large spatial‐scale watersheds remain largely unknown.Using Illumina sequencing and multiple statistical methods,we characterized distribution patterns and maintenance diversity of microorganisms(i.e.,archaea,bacteria,and fungi)in soils and sediments along the Yangtze River.Distinct microbial distribution patterns were found between soils and sediments,and microbial community similarity significantly decreased with increasing geographical distance.Physicochemical properties showed a larger effect on microbial community composition than geospatial and climatic factors.Archaea and fungi displayed stronger species replacements and weaker environmental constraints in soils than that in sediments,but opposite for bacteria.Archaea,bacteria,and fungi in soils showed broader environmental breadths and stronger phylogenetic signals compared to those in sediments,suggesting stronger environmental adaptation.Stochasticity dominated community assemblies of archaea and fungi in soils and sediments,whereas determinism dominated bacterial community assembly.Our results have therefore highlighted distinct microbial distribution patterns and diversity maintenance mechanisms between soils and sediments,and emphasized important roles of species replacement,environmental adaptability,and ecological assembly processes on microbial landscape.Our findings are helpful in predicting loss of microbial diversity in the Yangtze River Basin,and might assist the establishment of environmental policies for protecting fragile watersheds.

分壁精馏塔(DWC)是一种典型的化工过程强化设备,具有节能和节约设备投资的优势,但在石油化工领域应用较少。基于加氢裂化喷气燃料实沸点蒸馏结果,以之分馏制备不同牌号轻质白油过程为研究对象,在传统分馏工艺(FP)的基础上提出了单隔壁分馏工艺(DWC-FP)和双隔壁分馏工艺(DPDWC-FP),并建立FP、DWC-FP和DPDWC-FP的严格稳态精馏模型;以年总成本(TAC)和再沸器负荷为目标函数,通过非支配排序遗传算法NSGA-Ⅱ优化工艺流程。结果表明,DWC在应用于石油馏分的分离过程中具有节能优势,DPDWC-FP工艺可在1个塔内实现4个产品的分离;与FP相比,DWC-FP和DPDWC-FP的TAC分别减少19.61%和24.09%。

Coastal tidal wetlands produce and accumulate significant amounts of organic carbon(C) that help to mitigate climate change. However, previous data limitations have prevented a robust evaluation of the global rates and mechanisms driving C accumulation. Here, we go beyond recent soil C stock estimates to reveal global tidal wetland C accumulation and predict changes under relative sea level rise, temperature and precipitation. We use data from literature study sites and our new observations spanning wide latitudinal gradients and 20 countries. Globally, tidal wetlands accumulate 53.65(95%CI: 48.52–59.01)Tg C yr-1, which is ～30% of the organic C buried on the ocean floor. Modeling based on current climatic drivers and under projected emissions scenarios revealed a net increase in the global C accumulation by2100. This rapid increase is driven by sea level rise in tidal marshes, and higher temperature and precipitation in mangroves. Countries with large areas of coastal wetlands, like Indonesia and Mexico, are more susceptible to tidal wetland C losses under climate change, while regions such as Australia, Brazil, the USA and China will experience a significant C accumulation increase under all projected scenarios.

水稻(Oryza sativa)是世界上最重要的粮食作物,然而病害问题一直威胁着水稻生产,增强水稻的抗病性是确保水稻生产安全的有效途径。抗病性是一个极其复杂的过程,水稻利用自身防御体系应对病害胁迫时,会产生一系列防御性生理生化反应,其防御酶活性会随之呈现显著变化,这种变化在植物响应逆境胁迫中具有重要意义。本研究综述了6种常见防御酶,即超氧化物歧化酶、过氧化氢酶、过氧化物酶、多酚氧化酶、抗坏血酸过氧化物酶和苯丙氨酸解氨酶在水稻应对病害胁迫中的活性变化趋势,指出了水稻防御酶研究中存在的问题,并展望了相关研究的发展趋势。

目的探讨腹腔镜右半结肠癌根治术中闭合系膜裂隙对围手术期的影响.方法采用前瞻性随机对照研究方法.选取2022年11月至2023年8月中国医科大学附属第一医院等全国11家医学中心收治的320例行腹腔镜右半结肠癌根治术患者的临床资料,按照区组随机化法将患者分为系膜裂隙非闭合组和系膜裂隙闭合组.观察指标:(1)入组患者分组情况.(2)术中情况.(3)术后情况.偏态分布的计量资料以M(Q1,Q3)表示,组间比较采用Mann-Whitney U检验.计数资料以绝对数或百分比表示,组间比较采用x^(2)检验或Fisher确切概率法.等级资料比较采用秩和检验.疼痛视觉模拟量表(VAS)评分比较采用广义估计方程分析.结果(1)入组患者分组情况.筛选出符合研究条件的结肠癌患者320例;男156例,女164例;年龄为68(59,73)岁.320例患者随机分配至系膜裂隙非闭合组164例和系膜裂隙闭合组156例.两组患者年龄、体质量指数、美国麻醉医师协会评分、肿瘤最大径、吻合位置、吻合方式、手术入路方式、淋巴结清扫范围、肿瘤分期比较,差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05);性别比较,差异有统计学意义(P0.05).系膜裂隙非闭合组3例患者中转开腹;系膜裂隙闭合组1例患者中转开腹.系膜裂隙闭合组2例患者发生术中并发症均为肠系膜血肿.(3)术后情况.两组患者术后总并发症比较,差异无统计学意义(x^(2)=0.28,P>0.05);其中肠梗阻、腹胀、腹腔积液、胸腔积液、胃瘫、吻合口出血、吻合口漏、手术部位感染比较,差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05).两组患者再次手术、术后重置胃管比较,差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05);术后首次肛门排气时间、术后首次进食流质食物时间、术后首次肛门排便时间、术后住院时间、总住院费用比较,差异均无统计学意义(Z=-0.01,0.43,1.04,-0.54,-0.36,P>0.05).系膜裂隙非闭合组1例患者行再次手术.两组患者围手术期均未发生腹内疝和死亡.两组患者术后VAS评分均随时间变化而降低,但VAS评分比较,差异无统计学意义[β=-0.20(-0.53,0.13),P>0.05].结论与闭合系膜裂隙比较,腹腔镜右半结肠癌根治术中不闭合系膜裂隙未增加围手术期并发症及术后管理风险.

针对A320飞机电动绿色滑行系统电机的快速精准、稳定运行及转速监测实验测试问题,设计了EGTS电机监控实验平台,基于飞升曲线,采用实验方法,建立稀土永磁直流电机驱动控制系统仿真数学模型。借助Matlab/Simulink平台,与传统PID控制算法对比,提出用混合隶属度模糊PID控制算法,实现EGTS电机闭环运行调速控制系统仿真。设计分压电路、信号调理电路、继电器逻辑控制电路及电气监控面板,在可编程逻辑控制器中实现混合隶属度模糊PID算法。以Kingview软件为平台,设计上位机监控显示界面,通过RS485通信方式,与下位机PLC互联,初步搭建了集系统状态监测,运动控制及上/下位机独立控制于一体的EGTS电机模拟监控实验平台。通过EGTS电机模拟监控测试实验,验证了控制算法及系统软、硬件设计的合理性。

Elucidating the temporal process of immune remodeling under immunosuppressive treatment after liver transplantation(LT)is critical for precise clinical management strategies.Here,we performed a single-cell multi-omics analysis of peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs)collected from LT patients(with and without acute cellular rejection[ACR])at 13 time points.Validation was performed in two independent cohorts with additional LT patients and healthy controls.Our study revealed a four-phase recovery process after LT and delineated changes in immune cell composition,expression programs,and interactions along this process.The intensity of the immune response differs between the ACR and non-ACR patients.Notably,the newly identified inflamed NK cells,CD14+RNASE2+monocytes,and FOS-expressing monocytes emerged as predictive indicators of ACR.This study illuminates the longitudinal evolution of the immune cell landscape under tacrolimus-based immunosuppressive treatment during LT recovery,providing a four-phase framework that aids the clinical management of LT patients.

tAstrocytes are the largest glial population in the mammalian brain.However,we have a minimal understanding of astrocyte development,especially fate specification in different regions of the brain.Through lineage tracing of the progenitors of the third ventricle(3V)wall via in-utero electroporation in the embryonic mouse brain,we show the fate specification and migration pattern of astrocytes derived from radial glia along the 3V wall.Unexpectedly,radial glia located in different regions along the 3V wall of the diencephalon produce distinct cell types:radial glia in the upper region produce astrocytes and those in the lower region produce neurons in the diencephalon.With genetic fate mapping analysis,we reveal that the first population of astrocytes appears along the zona incerta in the diencephalon.Astrogenesis occurs at an early time point in the dorsal region relative to that in the ventral region of the developing diencephalon.With transcriptomic analysis of the region-specific 3V wall and lateral ventricle(LV)wall,we identified cohorts of differentially-expressed genes in the dorsal 3V wall compared to the ventral 3V wall and LV wall that may regulate astrogenesis in the dorsal diencephalon.Together,these results demonstrate that the generation of astrocytes shows a spatiotemporal pattern in the developing mouse diencephalon.

近年来,随着人民生活水平的提高,犬猫的饲养数量与日俱增,因而犬猫健康越来越受到重视。犬猫营养吸收的主要场所是肠道;犬猫会出现多种肠道疾病,且肠道内的有益和有害微生物对其健康也有极大的影响,因此,维持肠道稳态对犬猫的健康至关重要。该文论述了犬猫肠道的特点,阐述了犬猫肠道与微生物的关系、有益菌对犬猫肠道环境的影响,以及犬猫肠道疾病的病因和预防措施,并对未来犬猫相关肠道问题研究方向进行了展望。在日常饲养犬猫的过程中,可通过维持肠道内微生物数量的稳定,补充益生菌等方法来改善其肠道环境,提高犬猫消化效率,同时做好日常饲养管理和身体检查,减少肠道疾病的发生率。将来可以犬猫品种间差异的肠道微生物组成变化规律为基础,开展食品、药物和保健品的开发,保障犬猫肠道有益微生物的种类多样性,提高其消化道汲取营养的能力,提升犬猫健康度和生活品质。

Chinese giant salamander iridovirosis is a newly emerged infectious disease in China,of which the causative pathogen has been identified as giant salamander iridovirus(GSIV).Herein this study,the immunological responses and protection in Chinese giant salamander immunizedwith-propiolactone inactivated GSIV are elucidated in the aspects of haematocyte counting andclassification,phagocytic activity,neutralizing antibody titration,immune-related gene expressionanalysis,and relative percentage survival test,etc.The results of haematocyte counting andclassification showed that,compared with the control group,the numbers of erythrocytes andleukocytes in peripheral blood of immunized Chinese giant salamanders increased significantly atday 4 and day 7 post-vaccination,respectively(P<0.01);meanwhile,the differential leucocytecount(DLC)of monocytes and neutrophils were significantly higher than that of the control group;the percentage of lymphocytes reached 70.45±7.52%at day 21,while the percentage ofthrombocytes was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05);the phagocytic percentage(PP)and phagocytic index(PI)of phagocytes reached 38.78±16.33%and 3.75±2.52,respectively atday 4 post-vaccination,which were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.01).The serum neutralizing antibody increased fast at day 14 post vaccination and reached the highesttitre(320±6.52)at day 21.The quantitative PCR analysis revealed that the immunization couldsignificantly up-regulate the expression of immune related genes TLR-9 and MyD88 in the firsttwo weeks after immunization.The challenge test with GSIV conducted at day 30post-vaccination demonstrated that the immunized group produced a relative percent of survival(RPS)of 72.2%.Therefore,the results in this paper indicated that the inactivated GSIV couldelicit a high level of non-specific and specific immunological responses in Chinese giantsalamander,resulting in effective protection against the GSIV infection.
