A natural hazard-related disaster event often causes a series of secondary disasters, forming a disaster chain. Modeling the evolution of disaster chains in multihazard scenarios is crucial for risk governance and urban resilience. However, existing multi-hazard models are limited by complex model design and fixed disaster types, making it impossible to ensure flexible reactions to complex and diverse scenarios. This study presents a disaster management system for disaster model service chain(DMSC) to implement interoperable multi-hazard modeling. To achieve efficient model interaction in the DMSC, a management module is designed to normalize heterogeneous single-hazard models based on disaster system theory and the Open Geospatial Consortium standards, enabling them to be accessible,reusable, and interoperable. The normalized models are then adaptively orchestrated through an orchestration module to establish optimal executable DMSCs for different multihazard scenarios. Taking an earthquake disaster chain as a case study, we demonstrate that the disaster management system shows stable and flexible performance for multihazard modeling.

To better characterize the optical properties of atmospheric aerosols, the multi-wavelength cavity ring-down aerosol extinction spectrometer(MCRD-AES) is developed and applied in this study. By using tunable light source and four parallel cavities, the MCRD-AES covers a wide and atmospherically relevant wavelength range from 360 to 663 nm. Four wavelengths(375 nm, 440 nm, 532 nm, and 620 nm) are particularly tested with ammonium sulfate and nigrosine. The refractive index values obtained from this study agree well with literature data. The stability and accuracy of the MCRD-AES are tested, and the minimum detectable extinction coefficient is 0.5 1/Mm. The high sensitivity, high precision, and wavelength changeable of MCRD-AES indicate its great application prospect in comprehensively quantifying the optical properties of atmospheric aerosols.

The metal halide perovskites exhibit excellent performance as the direct X-ray detectors owing to their strong absorption capability,long carrier lifetime and diffusion length,radiation ruggedness,etc.For imaging applications,the ionic migration of perovskites and charge sharing effect between the adjacent pixels have a significantly negative impact on the spatial resolution.Herein,for the first time,the porous anodic aluminum oxides(AAO)have been used as a template to grow the CsPbBr2I thick film for the direct X-ray detection.Benefiting from the oxygen passivation effect,the activation energy for ionic migration has been observed to increase to 0.701 eV,whereas the dark current drift(1.01×10^(-5)nA cm^(-1)s^(-1)V^(-1))is one to two orders of magnitude lower than the other lead halide perovskite single crystals and films.Moreover,the AAO insulating wall effectively blocks the charge diffusion effect across a pixel pitch of 10^m.Overall,the findings reported in this study open a new route for reducing the ionic migration and pixel crosstalk,thus,bringing the perovskite X-ray detectors close to the practical applications.

Experimental and Theoretical Study on CHF of a Ultra-Supercritical Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler Water-Wall Tube at near-Critical Pressures

The experimental and theoretical research on the critical heat flux(CHF)in a uniformly heated water-wall tube of the efficient ultra-supercritical circulating fluidized bed(USCFB)boiler has been conducted.In particular,the experimental pressure varies from 18 MPa to 21 MPa,which is from 0.814Pcr–0.95Pcr(Pcr:critical pressure).The mass flux varies from 310 kg·m^(–2)·s^(–1)to 550 kg·m^(–2)·s^(–1).The inlet sub-cooling temperatures vary from 5°C to 10°C.The material of the tube is 12Cr1MoVg.From experimental investigation,the near critical pressure CHF test data of water are obtained.We find that the CHF mainly occurs when the vapor qualities are less than 0.4,and it occurs earlier(at lower vapor quality)when the pressure is closer to 22.115 MPa or the mass flux is smaller.From the experimental data,a correlation function for the CHF is established via regression and machine learning.Correlations established via machine learning greatly improved the regression accuracy.To study the CHF phenomenon mechanically,a theoretical model is established based on the near-surface bubble crowding model describing the DNB-type CHF.In the development of the CHF model,the friction resistance coefficient is determined according to our test results.By comparison with different experimental results,the near-surface bubble crowding model is well suited to describe DNB-type CHF.The calculation results of the model can provide reference for the optimal design of the USCFB boiler.

According to the remote sensing image characteristics,a set of optimized compression quality assessment methods is proposed on the basis of generating simulative images.Firstly,a means is put forward that generates simulative images by scanning aerial films taking into account the space-borne remote sensing camera characteristics(including pixel resolution,histogram dynamic range and quantization).In the course of compression quality assessment,the objective assessment considers images texture changes and mutual relationship between simulative images and decompressed images,while the synthesized estimation factor(SEF) is brought out innovatively for the first time.Subjective assessment adopts a display setup — 0.5mm/pixel,which considers human visual characteristic and mainstream monitor.The set of methods are applied in compression plan design of panchromatic camera loaded on ZY-1-02 C satellite.Through systematic and comprehensive assessment,simulation results show that image compression quality with the compression ratio of 4:1 can meet the remote sensins aDDlication reauirements.

The remodeling roles of lipid metabolism in colorectal cancer cells and immune microenvironment

We proposed an automatic method for searching special and rare celestial objects in the massive spectra of the Sloan digital sky survey(SDSS). The data mining technique is employed and the massive SDSS spectra are identified quickly and efficiently. The high-dimensional spectra are mapped to feature space constructed by the principal component analysis(PCA), and dimensionality reduction is carried out accordingly. Massive SDSS spectra are classified by a welltrained support vector machine(SVM) and most of the noncandidates are excluded.Parameter optimization is also studied to guarantee the accuracy of PCA and SVM.Experiments show that this novel method can find rare celestial objects in an effective and efficient manner. We report the identification of six new white dwarfmain sequence(WDMS).

Lipid is a key component of plasma membrane,which plays an important role in the regulation of various cell biological behaviors,including cell proliferation,growth,differentiation and intracellular signal transduction.Studies have shown that abnormal lipid metabolism is involved in many malignant processes,including colorectal cancer(CRC).Lipid metabolism in CRC cells can be regulated not only by intracellular signals,but also by various components in the tumor microenvironment,including various cells,cytokines,DNA,RNA,and nutrients including lipids.In contrast,abnormal lipid metabolism provides energy and nutrition support for abnormal malignant growth and distal metastasis of CRC cells.In this review,we highlight the remodeling roles of lipid metabolism crosstalk between the CRC cells and the components of tumor microenvironment.

In this study, the full lipL21 gene fragment encoding outer membrane protein LipL21 was cloned from L. interrogans serovar Lai and inserted into eukaryotic expression vector pcDNA3.1（＋）. The guinea pigs were immunized with pcDNA3.1（＋）-lipL21, pcDNA3.1（＋） or PBS. Six weeks after the second immunization, the splenocytes were isolated to detect their proliferative ability by lymphocyte transformation experiments. In addition, microscopic agglutination test was used for quantitative detection of specific antibodies. The rest guinea pigs were challenged intraperitoneally with L. interogans sorevar Lai. Then, protective effect was evaluated on the basis of survival and histopathological lesions in the kidneys, lungs, and liver. The lipL21 gene was successfully expressed in COS-7 cells through recombinant pcDNA3.1（＋）-lipL21. The titer of specific antibodies substantially increased, and the stimulation index of splenocytes increased significantly. Hence, the pcDNA3.1（＋）-lipL21 could protect the immunized guinea pigs from homotypic Leptospira infection. Furthermore, no obvious pathologic changes were observed in the pcDNA3.1（＋）-lipL21 immunized guinea pigs. The results showed that the protective effect with pathogenic strains of Leptospira was shared by LipL21 mediated through a plasmid vector. Consequently, these results indicated that the lipL21 DNA vaccine was a promising candidate for the prevention of leptospirosis.
