Spectral Index Distribution of Various Scale Components in Supernova Remnant Cassiopeia A

Cassiopeia A(Cas A) is a well-known candidate for studying cosmic-ray acceleration, in which compact features of various scales have attracted much attention. Based on observations by the Very Large Array of Cas A at 6 cm and 21 cm, we measure the spectral index distribution of various scale components using the observation of the 1998 epoch. We decompose its total density image into nine scale components, and map the temperature spectral index distribution of each component, which ranges from-2.48 ± 0.01 to-2.91 ± 0.05. We find that the spectral indices increase from the small scale to large scale components. A damped post-shock magnetic field model with a strength larger than ~200 μG and a damping length scale less than ~10% of the remnant radius can account for the spectral index variation naturally.

Soil nutrient availability and their spatial distributions are strongly related to land use and landscape *** study aims to address the knowledge gap regarding the interaction between these factors and the underlying *** selected five land uses(grassland with Artemisia gmelinii,woodland with Robinia pseudoacacia,shrubland with Caragana korshinskii and Hippophae rhamnoides,and apple orchard with Malus pumila)and nine slope positions across hillslopes in the Loess Plateau,China,to investigate their combined effects on the contents and stocks of soil organic carbon(SOC),total nitrogen(TN)and total phosphorus(TP).Parametric and non-parametric statistical tests were conducted to determine the significant differences in the means or the medians of the soil nutrient *** showed that the SOC and TN contents of shrubland with Caragana korshinskii were statistically significantly greater than those of the grassland(p<0.05).SOC and TN contents generally decreased from the upper slope to the middle slope,and to the foot slope for the grassland,woodland and shrublands,and on the contrary,an increasing trend from the upper slope,to the middle slope,and to the foot slope was identified for the apple *** study highlights that land use,slope position and their interaction have significant effects on the spatial distributions of soil *** provides essential empirical evidence for the identification of the optimal vegetation type and slope positions in land management and vegetation restoration activities.

Objective： The aim of our study was to evaluate the toxicity and efficacy of induction chemotherapy （ICT） followed by three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy （3D CRT） and concurrent weekly paclitaxel on unresectable non-small cell lung cancer （NSCLC）. Methods： Stage III NSCLC patients with favorable conditions were treated with 2 to 4 cycles of carboplatin （AUC = 5-6, dl） combined with paclitaxel （175 mg/m〈 dl）, then followed by weekly paclitaxel （40 mg/m2） and concurrent 3D CRT within 3-4 weeks. The prescription dose was given as high as possible under the condition that V20 〈 31% and spinal cord dose 〈 50 Gy. Results： Thirty-one patients were enrolled. ICT was well tolerated. During the concurrent chemoradiotherapy, the treatment of 3 patients was ended ahead of the schedule because of severe pulmonary and heart toxicities; the treatment of 2 patients was delayed for 7 and 12 days because of fatigue. Myelosuppression was mild （16/31）： all were grade 1-2 except 1 was grade 3. Lymphocytopenia was more obvious （29/31, grade 3 in 21）. Three patients developed grade 3 radiation-induced esophagitis, and 2 developed grades 3-4 radiation-induced pneumonitis. Two developed grade 3 esophageal stricture. No grades 3-4 pulmonary fibrosis was observed. The overall response rate was 74.1%. The 1-, 2-, 3-year overall survival rates were 74.2%, 41.9%, and 34.6%, respectively, with the median survival time of 18.5 months. The 1-, 2-, 3-year local progression-freely survival rates were 64.5%, 32.3%, and 20.5%, respectively, with the median local progression-freely survival time of 14.3 months. Conclusion： The program of ICT followed by weekly paclitaxel and 3D CRT is accomplished in most of the favorable stage III NSCLC patients. The toxicity is tolerable, and the response rate is inspiriting.

The high-resolution remote sensing image contains rich information of surface ***,the same surface features collected in different regions at different times still have large appearance *** problem makes the network parameters trained in a single environment difficult to adapt to the extraction of similar objects in different *** order to solve these problems,this paper proposes a domain adaptive method based on CNN to solve the single class target segmentation problem in different feature domains for remote sensing *** model consists of two ***,this paper selects a segmentation framework suitable for remote sensing image feature extraction as a *** feature layers of the generator are extracted to describe the source domain and the target domain image in multiple ***,the features are used as the input of the discriminator to adversarial learning to distinguish whether the input is from the source image or the target *** order to verify the effectiveness of the algorithm,this paper takes the extraction of planting greenhouses in remote sensing images as an example,first this paper proposes a data set for the extraction of planting greenhouses and carries out pixel level ***,the remote sensing image of the greenhouse in Chenggong District,Kunming City,Yunnan Province,South China was made into the labeled source data,and the remote sensing image of the greenhouse in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of the North was used as the target data of the *** experimental results on the database show that the recall rate and accuracy of the proposed algorithm are good,and the MAE is 0.544,which is better than the existing feature extraction method based on migration learning.

Indium selenide has garnered significant attention for high volumetric capacities,but is currently plagued by the sluggish charge transfer kinetics,severe volume effect,and rapid capacity degradation that hinder their practical ***,we design,synthesize,and characterize a multi-kernel-shell structure comprised of indium selenide encapsulated within carbon nanospheres(referred to as m-K-S In_(2)Se_(3)@C)through an integrated approach involving a hydrothermal method followed by a gaseous selenization ***,experimental measurements and density functional theory calculations confirm that the m-K-S In_(2)Se_(3)@C not only improve the adsorption capability for Li-ions but also lower the energy barrier for Li-ions *** from numerous contact points,shorter diffusion distances and an improved volume buffering effect,the m-K-S In_(2)Se_(3)@C achieves an 800 mA h g^(−1)capacity over 1000 loops at 1000 mA g^(−1),a 520 mA h g^(−1)capacity at 5000 mA g^(−1)and an energy density of 270 Wh kg^(−1)when coupled with LiFePO4,surpassing most related anodes reported ***,the m-K-S structure with unique nano-micro structure offers a new approach to the design of advanced anodes for LIBs.

Lead-free Bi_(_(0.5))Na_(_(0.5))TiO_(3)(BNT)piezoelectric ceramics have the advantages of large coercive fields and high Curie *** the improvement of piezoelectric coefficient(d 33)is usually accompanied by a huge sacrifice of depolarization temperature(T d).In this work,a well-balanced performance of d 33 and T d is achieved in MnO_(2)-doped 0.79(Bi_(_(0.5))Na_(_(0.5))TiO_(3))-0.14(Bi_(0.5)K_(0.5)TiO_(3))-0.07BaTiO_(3)ternary *** in-corporation of 0.25 mol%MnO_(2)enhances the d 33 by more than 40%,while T d remains almost unchanged(i.e.,d 33=181 pC/N,T d=184℃).X-ray diffraction(XRD)shows that an appropriate fraction of the small axis-ratio ferroelectric phase(pseudo-cubic,P c)coexists with the long-range ferroelectric phase(tetrag-onal,T)under this MnO_(2)*** force microscopy(PFM)has revealed a special domain configuration,namely large striped and layered macro domains embedded with small *** study provides a distinctive avenue to design BNT-based piezoelectric ceramics with high piezoelectric performance and temperature stability.
