This study investigated the therapeutic effects on metabolic syndrome (MetS) and the impact on the intestinal barrier and gut microbiota of Fu brick tea aqueous extracts (FTE) on metabolic syndrome (MetS) in rats fed with a high-fat diet (HFD). Here， the results showed that FTE supplement significantly reduced HFD-induced weight gain， adiposity， dyslipidemia， fasting blood glucose (PBG) increment， and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Moreover， FTE supplement resulted in a decline in lipopolysaccharide (LPS) level and attenuation of colonic inflammation and oxidative stress to protect the intestinal barrier function. FTE supplement also maintained the intestinal barrier integrity by improving histological appearance and promoting ZO-1， Occludin， and Claudin-1 protein expression levels. Meanwhile， FTE supplement alleviated the gut microbiota dysbiosis by enhancing the Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes (F/B) ratio and stimulating the colonization of probiotic bacteria such as Akkermansia， Lactobacillus， Adlercreutzia， and Bacteroides. These findings collectively suggest that Fu brick tea could alleviate MetS and Mets-associated traits with the mechanism relevant to the protection of intestinal barrier and gut microbiota regulation.

A reference genome assembled from a single individual cannot capture the complex population level of polymorphism,especially for genetically divergent or admixed populations(Sherman et al.,2019).A complete genome data representative of a species rather than one individual,termed as pan-genome,can recover the genomic diversity and variations that are absent in the reference genome.

The Y chromosome plays key roles in male fertility and reflects the evolutionary history of paternal lineages.Here,we present a de novo genome assembly of the Hu sheep with the first draft assembly of ovine Y chromosome(o MSY),using nanopore sequencing and Hi-C technologies.The o MSY that we generated spans 10.6 Mb from which 775 Y-SNPs were identified by applying a large panel of whole genome sequences from worldwide sheep and wild Iranian mouflons.Three major paternal lineages(HY1a,HY1b and HY2)were defined across domestic sheep,of which HY2 was newly detected.Surprisingly,HY2 forms a monophyletic clade with the Iranian mouflons and is highly divergent from both HY1a and HY1b.Demographic analysis of Y chromosomes,mitochondrial and nuclear genomes confirmed that HY2 and the maternal counterpart of lineage C represented a distinct wild mouflon population in Iran that diverge from the direct ancestor of domestic sheep,the wild mouflons in Southeastern Anatolia.Our results suggest that wild Iranian mouflons had introgressed into domestic sheep and thereby introduced this Iranian mouflon specific lineage carrying HY2 to both East Asian and Africa sheep populations.

To the Editor:Norepinephrine(NE),which belongs to the catecholamine family,is increasingly produced by the sympathetic nervous system and adrenal medulla when the host is under stress.It has been demonstrated that NE has a significant anti-inflammatory effect.In addition,increasing evidence has indicated that stress hormones are directly involved in the interaction between bacteria and the host.A variety of bacteria can exhibit changes in growth,virulence,and biofilm by high concentrations of NE.Therefore,this article aimed to summarize the main research developments regarding the effects of NE on host immunity and bacterial infection,as well as the attendant molecular mechanisms[Figure 1].

Terahertz time-domain spectroscopy is a kind of far-infrared spectroscopy technology,and its spectrum reflects the internal properties of substances with rich physical and chemical information,so the use of terahertz waves can be used to qualitatively identify food additives containing nitrogen elements.Analytic hierarchy process(AHP)was originally used to solve evaluation-type problems,and this paper introduces it into the field of terahertz spectral qualitative analysis,proposes a terahertz time-domain spectral qualitative identification method combined with analytic hierarchy process,and verifies the feasibility of the method by taking four common food additives(xylitol,L-alanine,sorbic acid,and benzoic acid)and two illegal additives(melamine,and Sudan Red No.I)as the objects of study.Firstly,the collected terahertz time-domain spectral data were pre-processed and transformed into a data set consisting of peaks,peak positions,peak numbers and overall trends;then,the data were divided into comparison and test sets,and a qualitative additive identification model incorporating analytic hierarchy process was constructed and parameter optimisation was performed.The results showed that the qualitative identification accuracies of additives based on single factors,i.e.,overall trend,peak value,peak position,and peak number,were 80.23%,70.93%,67.44%,and 40.70%,respectively,whereas the identification accuracy of the analytic hierarchy process qualitative identification method based on multi-factors could be improved to 92.44%.In addition,the fuzzy characterisation of the absorption spectrum data was binarised in the data pre-processing stage and used as the base data for the overall trend,and the recognition accuracy was improved to 94.19%by combining the fuzzy characterisation method of such data with the hierarchical analysis qualitative recognition model.The results show that it is feasible to use terahertz technology to identify different varieties of additives,and this paper constructs a hierarchical analytical qu

为研究腐殖酸(Humic acid,HA)对微生物降解环境中多环芳烃(Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons,PAHs)的影响,以四环芘为典型PAHs及HA为代表性溶解性有机质,选取芘高效降解菌Mycobacterium sp.NJS-1于有无HA条件下降解芘,应用傅里叶变换回旋离子共振质谱(FT-ICR-MS),激光共聚焦显微镜(CLSM),及光谱技术分析降解过程中芘的残留特征、中间产物信息及菌落的变化特征。结果显示:未添加HA,芘降解率为35.33%±3.27%;添加HA后,其降解率明显提高,达到88.33%±3.40%,表明HA对高效菌Mycobacterium sp.NJS-1降解芘有明显的促进作用。不添加HA,菌落Mycobacterium sp.NJS-1分泌的双加氧酶只进攻芘的C_(4,5)位点,而添加HA后增加了进攻芘的C_(1,2)位点,因此增加了芘的代谢途径。添加HA后,CLSM结果显示无死亡细胞出现而且团聚明显,表明HA能够提高细胞的存活率并促进微生物膜的形成。同时,在降解芘的过程中,产生了酪氨酸类蛋白质和可见光类富里酸,表明添加HA反而提高了降解菌活性,而且形成了三维结构的生物膜。光谱分析部分发现:蛋白酰胺,酪氨酸、色氨酸和苯丙氨酸发生红移,表明HA的添加引起了细胞表面官能团作用力的变化。可见降解菌不仅通过细胞表面官能团相互作用形成微生物膜促进降解,而且外源HA能够促进菌落之间的作用,加快降解的进行。

Analysis of the Clinical Value of Psychological Intervention in Gastric Cancer Care

Objective: To analyze the application value of psychological intervention in gastric cancer nursing. Methods: This study analyzes gastric cancer patients admitted to hospitals from May 2022 to May 2023. Based on research requirements and patient willingness, 80 patients were selected and divided into observation and control groups using a lottery method. The control group received conventional nursing care, while the observation group received psychological intervention in addition to conventional nursing care. Results: After the psychological intervention, patients in the observation group showed significant improvements in anxiety and depression, better sleep quality, remarkable enhancement in psychological resilience, higher levels of health literacy, and increased nursing satisfaction compared to the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Incorporating psychological intervention into the nursing care of gastric cancer patients enhances their psychological adjustment ability and improves treatment adherence.

目的探讨1例成年型球形细胞脑白质营养不良/Krabbe病(KD)患者的临床特征与遗传学病因。方法选取2022年2月15日因"右下肢无力进行性加重4年余"于华中科技大学同济医学院附属同济医院神经内科就诊的1例KD患者为研究对象。对患者进行临床、影像学及基因变异分析并进行家系验证。结果患者为36岁女性,以痉挛性步态为主要临床表现。头颅MRI示双侧皮质脊髓束走行区对称性病变,白细胞β-半乳糖脑苷脂酶(GALC)活性明显降低。患者的GALC基因存在c.461C>A(p.Pro154His)及c.1901T>C(p.Leu634Ser)复合杂合错义变异,其母亲、姐姐及外甥均携带c.461C>A(p.Pro154His)杂合变异,其父亲携带c.1901T>C(p.Leu634Ser)杂合变异。结论患者最终被诊断为成年型KD。GALC基因c.461C>A(p.Pro154His)及c.1901T>C(p.Leu634Ser)复合杂合变异可能是其遗传学病因。

水稻对氮肥的高效与合理利用是发展绿色农业的重要保障。培育含有氮高效基因的水稻品种,是提高氮肥利用率最经济有效的途径。本研究开发了一个用于HRM(高分辨率熔解曲线)高通量检测硝酸盐转运蛋白基因NRT1.1B的分子功能标记。利用此标记对78份山东地方水稻品种进行NRT1.1B基因分型,发现有13个水稻品种为含有NRT1.1B的高效单倍型,表明NRT1.1B在山东省水稻品种中分布较少。利用测序分析验证,测序结果与本标记分型结果一致。可见,本研究开发的功能标记能够快速准确鉴定出NRT1.1B基因型,可为筛选和培育氮高效水稻新品种提供有力的技术支撑。
