Staring-imaging satellite pointing estimation based on sequential ISAR images

Pointing estimation for spacecraft using Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar(ISAR)images plays a significant role in space situational awareness and ***,feature extraction and cross-range scaling of ISAR images create bottlenecks that limit performances of current estimation ***,the emergence of staring imaging satellites,characterized by complex kinematic behaviors,presents a novel challenge to this *** address these issues,this article proposes a pointing estimation method based on Convolutional Neural Networks(CNNs)and a numerical optimization algorithm.A satellite’s main axis,which is extracted from ISAR images by a proposed Semantic Axis Region Regression Net(SARRN),is chosen for investigation in this article due to its unique ***,considering the kinematic characteristic of the staring satellite,an ISAR imaging model is established to bridge the target pointing and the extracted *** on the imaging model,pointing estimation and cross-range scaling can be described as a maximum likelihood estimation problem,and an iterative optimization algorithm modified by using the strategy of random sampling-consistency check and weighted least squares is proposed to solve this ***,the pointing of targets and the cross-range scaling factors of ISAR images are *** experiments based on actual satellite orbital parameters verify the effectiveness of the proposed *** work can improve the performance of satellite reconnaissance warning,while accurate cross-range scaling can provide a basis for subsequent data processes such as 3D reconstruction and attitude estimation.

Investigation of crack segmentation and fast evaluation of crack propagation, based on deep learning

Identifying crack and predicting crack propagation are critical processes for the risk assessment of engineering *** traditional approaches to crack modeling are faced with issues of high computational costs and excessive computing *** address this issue,we explore the potential of deep learning(DL)to increase the efficiency of crack detection and forecasting crack ***,there is no single algorithm that can fit all data sets well or can apply in all cases since specific tasks *** the paper,we present DL models for identifying cracks,especially on concrete surface images,and for predicting crack ***,SegNet and U-Net networks are used to identify concrete *** gradient descent(SGD)and adaptive moment estimation(Adam)algorithms are applied to minimize loss function during ***,time series algorithms including gated recurrent unit(GRU)and long short-term memory(LSTM)are used to predict crack *** experimental findings indicate that the U-Net is more robust and efficient than the SegNet for identifying crack segmentation and achieves the most outstanding *** evaluation of crack propagation,GRU and LSTM are used as DL models and results show good agreement with the experimental data.

Optimization Mechanism of Mechanical Properties of Basalt Fiber-Epoxy Resin Composites by Interfacially Enriched Distribution of Nano-Starch Crystals

Fibre reinforced polymer composites have become a new generation of structural materials due to their unique advantages such as high specific strength,designability,good dimensional stability and ease of large-area monolithic ***,the problem of interfacial bonding between the resin matrix and the fibres limits the direct use of reinforcing fibres and has become a central difficulty in the development of basalt fibre-epoxy *** paper proposes a solution for enhancing the strength of the fibre-resin interface using maize starch nanocrystals,which are highly yield and ***,in this paper,corn starch nanocrystals(SNC)were prepared by hydrolysis,and were deposited on the surface of basalt fibers by electrostatic *** that,in order to maximize the modification effect of nano-starch crystals on the interface,the basalt fiber-epoxy resin composite samples were prepared by mixing in a pressureless molding *** test results shown that the addition of basalt fibers alone led to a reduction in the strength of the *** of 0.1 wt%SNC on the surface of basalt fibers can make the strength consistent with pure epoxy *** the adsorption amount of SNC reached 0.5 wt%,the tensile strength of the samples was 23.7%higher than that of pure epoxy *** is due to the formation of ether bond homopolymers between the SNC at the fibre-epoxy interface and the epoxy resin,which distorts the originally smooth interface,leading to increased stress concentration and the development of *** enhances the binding of basalt *** conclusions of this paper can provide an effective,simple,low-cost and non-polluting method of interfacial enhancement modification.

Prediction on Failure Pressure of Pipeline Containing Corrosion Defects Based on ISSA-BPNNModel

Oil and gas pipelines are affected by many factors,such as pipe wall thinning and pipeline *** prediction of failure pressure of oil and gas pipelines can provide technical support for pipeline safety *** at the shortcomings of the BP Neural Network(BPNN)model,such as low learning efficiency,sensitivity to initial weights,and easy falling into a local optimal state,an Improved Sparrow Search Algorithm(ISSA)is adopted to optimize the initial weights and thresholds of BPNN,and an ISSA-BPNN failure pressure prediction model for corroded pipelines is *** 61 sets of pipelines blasting test data as an example,the prediction model was built and predicted by MATLAB software,and compared with the BPNN model,GA-BPNN model,and SSA-BPNN *** results show that the MAPE of the ISSA-BPNN model is 3.4177%,and the R2 is 0.9880,both of which are superior to its comparison *** the ISSA-BPNN model has high prediction accuracy and stability,and can provide support for pipeline inspection and maintenance.

Effect of NaCl Concentration on the Cumulative Strain and Pore Distribution of Clay under Cyclic Loading

Clay,as the most common soil used for foundationﬁll,is widely used in various infrastructure *** phy-sical and mechanical properties of clay are inﬂuenced by the pore solution *** study uses a GDS static/dynamic triaxial apparatus and nuclear magnetic resonance experiments to investigate the effects of cyclic loading on clay ***,the development of cumulative strain in clay is analyzed,and aﬁtting model for cumulative plastic strain is introduced by considering factors such as NaCl solution concentration,con-solidation stress ratio,and cycle *** particular,the effects of the NaCl solution concentration and con-solidation stress ratio on the pore distribution of the test samples before and after cyclic loading are examined,and the relationship between microscopic pore size and macroscopic cumulative strain is obtained *** results show that as the consolidation stress ratio grows,an increasing number of large pores in the soil samples are transformed into small *** the NaCl solution concentration becomes higher,the number of small pores gradually decreases,while the number of large pores remains *** loading causes the disappearance of the large pores in the samples,and the average pore size before cyclic loading is posi-tively correlated with the axial cumulative strain after cyclic *** cumulative strain produced by the soil under cyclic loading is inversely proportional to the NaCl solution concentration and consolidation stress ratio.

Surrounding rock classification from onsite images with deep transfer learning based on EfficientNet

This paper proposes an accurate,efficient and explainable method for the classification of the surrounding rock based on a convolutional neural network(CNN).The state-of-the-art robust CNN model(EfficientNet)is applied to tunnel wall image *** filtering,data augmentation and other data pre-processing techniques are used to improve the data quality and *** with transfer learning,the generality,accuracy and efficiency of the deep learning(DL)model are further improved,and finally we achieve 89.96%*** with other state-of-the-art CNN architectures,such as ResNet and Inception-ResNet-V2(IRV2),the presented deep transfer learning model is more stable,accurate and *** reveal the rock classification mechanism of the proposed model,Gradient-weight Class Activation Map(Grad-CAM)visualizations are integrated into the model to enable its explainability and *** developed deep transfer learning model has been applied to support the tunneling of the Xingyi City Bypass in the high mountain area of Guizhou,China,with great results.

“Co-coordination force”assisted rigid-flexible coupling crystalline polymer for high-performance aqueous zinc-organic batteries

Organic electrode materials(OEMs)have attracted substantial attention for aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)due to their advantages in relieving resource and environmental ***,the potential of OEMs is plagued by their low achievable capacity and high ***,we have proposed a new concept of“co-coordination force”and designed a rigid-flexible coupling crystalline polymer that can overcome the abovementioned *** obtained crystalline polymer(BQSPNs)with multiredox centres makes the BQSPNs exist intermolecular hydrogen bonds(HB)among-C=O,-C=N,and-NH and consequently exhibits transverse two-dimensional arrays and longitudinalπ-πstacking ***,in-situ FTIR,Raman,variable temperature FTIR spectra,and 2D nuclear overhauser effect spectroscopy(NOESY)well capture the existence and evolution process of HB during the electrochemistry reaction process of BQSPNs,uncovering the effect of HB in stabilizing the structure and promoting the reaction *** a result,the BQSPNs with rationally designed“co-coordination force”deliver a high capacity of 459.6 m Ah/g and a stable cycling lifetime for more than 100,000 cycles at 10 A/g in *** results disclose the HB effect and provide a brand-new strategy for high-performance OEMs design.

As the risks associated with air turbulence are intensified by climate change and the growth of the aviation industry,it has become imperative to monitor and mitigate these threats to ensure civil aviation *** eddy dissipation rate(EDR)has been established as the standard metric for quantifying turbulence in civil *** study aims to explore a universally applicable symbolic classification approach based on genetic programming to detect turbulence anomalies using quick access recorder(QAR)*** detection of atmospheric turbulence is approached as an anomaly detection *** evaluations demonstrate that this approach performs on par with direct EDR calculation methods in identifying turbulence ***,comparisons with alternative machine learning techniques indicate that the proposed technique is the optimal methodology currently *** summary,the use of symbolic classification via genetic programming enables accurate turbulence detection from QAR data,comparable to that with established EDR approaches and surpassing that achieved with machine learning *** finding highlights the potential of integrating symbolic classifiers into turbulence monitoring systems to enhance civil aviation safety amidst rising environmental and operational hazards.
