Role of social organization engagement in high-risk groups intervention against HIV/AIDS:a case study from 176 cities of China

Background: A high-risk prevention strategy is an effective way to fight against human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). The China AIDS Fund for Non-Governmental Organizations (CAFNGO) was established in 2015 to help social organizations intervene to protect high-risk populations in 176 cities. This study aimed to evaluate the role of social organizations in high-risk population interventions against HIV/AIDS.Methods: This study was based on the CAFNGO program from 2016 to 2020. The collected data included the number and types of social organizations participating in high-risk group interventions and the amount of funds obtained by these organizations each year. We explored the factors influencing the number of newly diagnosed AIDS cases using a spatial econometric model. Furthermore, we evaluated the effectiveness of intervention activities by comparing the percentages of the individuals who initially tested positive, and the individuals who took the confirmatory test, as well as those who retested positive and underwent the treatment.Results: Overall, from 2016 to 2020, the number of social organizations involved in interventions to protect HIV/AIDS high-risk populations increased from 441 to 532, and the invested fund increased from $3.98 to $10.58 million. The number of newly diagnosed cases decreased from 9128 to 8546 during the same period. Although the number of cities with overall spatial correlations decreased, the spatial agglomeration effect persisted in the large cities. Citywise, the number of social organizations (direct effect 19.13), the permanent resident population (direct effect 0.12), GDP per capita (direct effect 17.58;indirect effect -15.38), and passenger turnover volume (direct effect 5.50;indirect effect -8.64) were the major factors influencing new positive cases confirmed through the testing interventions performed by the social organizations. 目的分析2016-2022年我国参与艾滋病防治的社会组织MSM干预检测的成效与不足,为提升社会组织工作质量和能力提供参考。方法整理分析2016-2022年社会组织参与艾滋病防治基金(CAFNGO)项目管理信息系统中MSM干预项目数据,针对历年不同类型社会组织、不同地区MSM干预检测转化,HIV初筛阳性,HIV确证检测,HIV确证阳性和HIV确证阳性转介指标等产出进行分析。结果2016-2022年,全国共有567个社会组织参与CAFNGO MSM干预项目,其中民政部门登记的社会组织(NGO)159个,未在民政登记的社会组织(CBO)408个,覆盖了全国30个省(自治区、直辖市)。MSM干预项目的HIV初筛阳性率从2016年的5.49%到下降至2022年3.18%,而阳性转介治疗率从2017年的83.87%上升至2022年的94.93%。CBO项目的干预检测转化率、初筛阳性率和确证阳性率高于NGO的项目(P<0.05),NGO项目的确证检测率和阳性转介率均高于CBO项目(P<0.05)。华东、华北和东北检测人数较多,占项目检测总人数的64.80%(1089966/1681977),西北地区检测人数最少,占5.63%(94736/1681977)。西北地区项目的初筛阳性率为3.19%(3025/94736)、确证检测率76.96%(2328/3025)、确证阳性率2.36%(2236/94736),均低于平均水平(P<0.05)。结论社会组织通过动员干预检测工作,更多的阳性病例被发现,减少进一步的传播,发挥了其优势和作用,应继续加强对社会组织开展MSM干预工作的支持力度,在初筛阳性到确证检测的环节中,应减少脱失人数。NGO和CBO在防艾工作中发挥了各自的优势,需要加强对CBO的能力建设。在艾滋病疫情重点地区,有针对性地对不同类型社会组织提供技术支持和加强能力建设,推动社会组织均衡发展。

目的了解我国开展男男同性性行为人群(men who have sex with men,MSM)艾滋病干预工作的社会组织(MSM社会组织)现状,为促进MSM社会组织更好地开展艾滋病干预工作提供参考。方法采用定量研究方法,向2023年参与社会组织参与艾滋病防治基金(艾防基金)项目的MSM社会组织发放调查问卷,主要内容包括MSM社会组织基本情况、人员构成情况、外部机构合作情况以及开展艾滋病干预工作等情况。结果发放调查问卷243份,回收242份,回收率99.59%,覆盖30个省(自治区、直辖市),其中民政部门登记的MSM社会组织96个(39.67%)。民政部门登记与未登记的MSM社会组织拥有全职员工、志愿者人数差异有统计学意义(Z=5.80、5.70,P0.05)。结论MSM社会组织具有易接触MSM、服务内容较为完善、形式多样、灵活性高等优势,应积极争取民政登记,增加与外部机构合作的机会,扩大组织自身的筹资渠道,促进MSM社会组织可持续发展。

Nonlinear constitutive models of rock structural plane and their applications

Structural planes play an important role in controlling the stability of rock engineering,and the influence of structural planes should be considered in the design and construction process of rock engineering.In this paper,mechanical properties,constitutive theory,and numerical application of structural plane are studied by a combination method of laboratory tests,theoretical derivation,and program development.The test results reveal the change laws of various mechanical parameters under different roughness and normal stress.At the pre-peak stage,a non-stationary model of shear stiffness is established,and threedimensional empirical prediction models for initial shear stiffness and residual stage roughness are proposed.The nonlinear constitutive models are established based on elasto-plastic mechanics,and the algorithms of the models are developed based on the return mapping algorithm.According to a large number of statistical analysis results,empirical prediction models are proposed for model parameters expressed by structural plane characteristic parameters.Finally,the discrete element method(DEM)is chosen to embed the constitutive models for practical application.The running programs of the constitutive models have been compiled into the discrete element model library.The comparison results between the proposed model and the Mohr-Coulomb slip model show that the proposed model can better describe nonlinear changes at different stages,and the predicted shear strength,peak strain and shear stiffness are closer to the test results.The research results of the paper are conducive to the accurate evaluation of structural plane in rock engineering.

Laminar Flame Structure-Dependent Exergy Destruction Behavior at Auto-Ignition Time Scale:A Case Study of Dimethyl Ether(DME)

Hybrid deflagration/auto-ignition flame structures coexist in the combustion of advanced engines.Decoupling exergy destruction caused by different irreversible processes under varied flame regimes is thus important for understanding engine thermodynamics.In this study,the flame propagation modes for the premixed DME/air mixtures are numerically investigated under engine-relevant conditions.Local entropy generation and exergy destruction characteristics are compared under different flame structures.Results reveal that as the typical premixed flame transition towards auto-ignition front,the exergy destruction from heat conduction and species mass diffusion gradually vanish and are dominated by chemical reaction.The distributions of temperature and species mole fraction in the flame domain are analyzed to clarify the exergy destruction behaviors caused by heat conduction and mass diffusion.Furthermore,by dividing the DME oxidation process into four stages,the main reaction channels that contribute to the increase in exergy destruction from chemical reaction have been identified.It is found that the production and consumption of CH2O and HO2radical dominate the exergy destruction behavior during DME oxidation.On this basis,the kinetic mechanism of low-temperature chemistry causing greater exergy destruction is elucidated.Specifically,low-temperature chemistry leads to significant exergy destruction due to（a） the large irreversibility of itself and（b）(mainly) the enhancement of H2O2loop reactions by low-temperature reaction intermediates.Thus the reduction of combustion irreversibility is promising to be achieved by reasonably regulating the fuel oxidation path.

As an effective approach to achieve the“dual-carbon”goal,the grid-connected capacity of renewable energy increases constantly.Photovoltaics are the most widely used renewable energy sources and have been applied on various occasions.However,the inherent randomness,intermittency,and weak support of grid-connected equipment not only cause changes in the original flow characteristics of the grid but also result in complex fault characteristics.Traditional overcurrent and differential protection methods cannot respond accurately due to the effects of unknown renewable energy sources.Therefore,a longitudinal protection method based on virtual measurement of current restraint is proposed in this paper.The positive sequence current data and the network parameters are used to calculate the virtual measurement current which compensates for the output current of photovoltaic(PV).The waveform difference between the virtual measured current and the terminal current for internal and external faults is used to construct the protection method.An improved edit distance algorithm is proposed to measure the similarity between virtual measurement current and terminal measurement current.Finally,the feasibility of the protection method is verified through PSCAD simulation.

Inspired by the success of WaveNet in multi-subject speech synthesis,we propose a novel neural network based on causal convolutions for multi-subject motion modeling and generation.The network can capture the intrinsic characteristics of the motion of different subjects,such as the influence of skeleton scale variation on motion style.Moreover,after fine-tuning the network using a small motion dataset for a novel skeleton that is not included in the training dataset,it is able to synthesize high-quality motions with a personalized style for the novel skeleton.The experimental results demonstrate that our network can model the intrinsic characteristics of motions well and can be applied to various motion modeling and synthesis tasks.

Cryotherapy for cirrhosis-based hepatocellular carcinoma： a single center experience from 1595 treated cases

Cryoablation is a less prevalent percutaneous ablative therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma （HCC）, and current evidence about its usefulness is limited. We report our experience in treating 1595 HCC cases with percutaneous cryoablation to give a comprehensive profile about the effectiveness, safety and long-term outcome of this therapy. From January 2003 to December 2013, 1595 patients with 2313 HCC nodules were ablated with 2958 cryoablation sessions in our center. Complete ablation was achieved in 1294 patients for 1893 nodules with a mean diameter of 3.4 ＋ 2.2 cm. The complete ablation rate was 81.2%, 99.4%, 94.4%, and 45.6% in all tumors, tumors 〈 3 cm, tumors 〈 5 cm, and tumors 〉 5 cm, respectively. Major complications were observed after 80 （3.4%） of the 2958 cryoablations and minor complications were observed after 330 cryoablations with no treatment-related deaths. After a median follow-up of 33.4 months, 937 patients developed different types of recurrence. The 5- and 10-year overall survival was 25.7% and 9.2%, respectively. Cryoablation showed reliable safety and efficacy and should be considered as a promising technique, particularly when a large zone of ablation is required.

Enhancing the ability of single-pixel imaging against the source's energy fluctuation by complementary detection

The source's energy fluctuation has a great effect on the quality of single-pixel imaging(SPI).When the method of complementary detection is introduced into an SPI camera system and the echo signal is corrected with the summation of the light intensities recorded by two complementary detectors,we demonstrate,by both experiments and simulations,that complementary single-pixel imaging(CSPI)is robust to the source's energy fluctuation.The superiority of the CSPI structure is also discussed in comparison with previous SPI via signal monitoring.

On-surface synthesis and characterization of polyynic carbon chains

Carbyne, an elusive sp-hybridized linear carbon allotrope, has fascinated chemists and physicists for decades. Due to its high chemical reactivity and extreme instability, carbyne was much less explored in contrast to the sp2-hybridized carbon allotropes such as graphene. Herein, we report the on-surface synthesis of polyynic carbon chains by demetallization of organometallic polyynes on the Au（111） surface;the longest one observed consists of ～60 alkyne units（120 carbon atoms）. The polyynic structure of carbon chains with alternating triple and single bonds was unambiguously revealed by bond-resolved atomic force microscopy. Moreover, an atomically precise polyyne, C14, was successfully produced via tip-induced dehalogenation and ring-opening of the decachloroanthracene molecule(C14Cl10) on a bilayer NaCl/Au（111） surface at 4.7 K, and a band gap of 5.8 eV was measured by scanning tunnelling spectroscopy,in a good agreement with the theoretical HOMO–LUMO gap（5.48 eV）.
