Simultaneously improving Fusarium head blight(FHB)resistance and grain yield is challenging in wheat breeding.The correlations between spikelet compactness(SC),grain number per spike(GNS),thousandgrain weight(TGW)and FHB resistance remains unclear in common wheat.Identification of major quantitative trait loci(QTL)conferring FHB resistance and yield components,and development of breeder-friendly markers for the QTL are prerequisites for marker-assisted selection(MAS).Here,a recombinant inbred line(RIL)population derived from a cross between a resistant cultivar Yangmai 12(YM12)and a susceptible cultivar Yanzhan 1(YZ1)was used to map QTL for FHB resistance and yield components.A total of 22 QTL were identified;among these,six are likely to be new for corresponding traits.A QTL cluster(Qclu.yas-2D)for FHB type II resistance,SC,GNS,and TGW was detected on chromosome 2D.Breeder-friendly kompetitive allele-specific PCR(KASP)markers flanking the interval of Qclu.yas-2D were developed and validated in a diverse panel of 166 wheat cultivars and advanced lines.The YM12 alleles of Qclu.yas-2D significantly increased FHB resistance,SC,and GNS but decreased TGW in the validation population.The KASP markers developed for Qclu.yas-2D have great potential for breeding high-yielding wheat cultivars with enhanced FHB resistance.

One potential solution to the problems of energy storage and conversion is the use of reversible protonic ceramic electrochemical cells(R-PCEC),which are based on the solid oxide fuel cell(SOFC)technology and offer a flexible route to the generation of renewable fuels.However,the R-PCEC development faces a range of significant challenges,including slow oxygen reaction kinetics,inadequate durability,and poor round-trip efficiency resulting from the inadequacy of an air electrode.To address these issues,we report novel B-sites doped Pr_(0.5)Ba_(0.5)Co_(0.7)Fe_(0.3)O_(3−δ)(PBCF)with varying amounts of Sn as the air electrode for R-PCEC to further enhance electrochemical performance at lower temperatures.At 600℃,R-PCEC with an air electrode consisting of Pr_(0.5)Ba_(0.5)Co_(0.7)Fe_(0.25)Sn_(0.05)O_(3+δ)has achieved peak power density of 1.12 W∙cm^(−2) in the fuel cell mode and current density of 1.79 A∙cm^(−2) in the electrolysis mode at a voltage of 1.3 V.Moreover,R-PCECs have shown good stability in the electrolysis mode of 100 h.This study presents a practical method for developing durable high-performance air electrodes for R-PCECs.

The effects of hydrogen on the mechanical response of pure iron with randomly distributed hydrogen atoms under nanoindentation were systematically investigated by molecular dynamics simulations with the aim to further understand hydrogen embrittlement mechanism in the steels.The simulations results revealed that,for the three models with[001],[110]and[111]surface normal,hydrogen reduced the critical load of the pop-in event,promoted the dislocation slipping and reduced the plastic region size and dislocation density around the indenter compared to the hydrogen free model.Meanwhile,the different mechanical responses of the three models with different surface normal were further explained in the perspective of Schmid factor.

A novel method for HDDA-derived benzyne trapped by nitrone was developed. This research described a simple and efficient pathway for the synthesis of benzisoxazoles from arynes and PTIO(2-phenyl-4,4,5,5-tetramethylimidazoline-3-oxide-1-oxyl), C-C and C-O bonds were formed in a single step without catalyst under mild conditions. The unexpected cleavage of C-N bond contributed to the formation of isoxazole ring, as indicated by DFT studies. Furthermore, we obtained the structure of benzoxazolopyrrolidine when the trapping agent is DMPO(5,5-dimethyl-1-pyrroline N-oxide).

To the Editor:Infertility is a public health concern in modern society.Oligoasthenospermia(OA)is one of the leading causes of male infertility that impacts about 5%of reproductive-aged couples worldwide.The etiology and pathogenesis of OA remain poorly understood.The characteristics of OA include a reduction in the total number(human body in the TCM theory.A mitochondrion,a cell's"powerhouse,"is essential for cellular signaling and plays a role similar to that of"Qi"in TCM.The mid piece of sperm is packed with mitochondria;therefore,mitochondrial dysfunction may play a vital causative role in inadequate sperm mobility and male infertility.[2]Mitochondria not only provide the spermatozoa the necessary energy for successful fertilization but are also closely associated with the viability of the spermatozoa via regulating the permeability by the mitochondrial permeability transition pore(mPTP),[3]a transmembrane protein located in the inner membrane of mitochondria.Normally,it remains closed,but the opening of mPTP allows large molecules to pass through the mitochondrial membrane.Malfunction of mPTP leads to cell apoptosis,and in the case of OA,it results in a reduced sperm number and mobility.[3]In the current study,we aimed to evaluate the therapeutic effects of TSG on spermatogenesis and reproductive hormones,and also investigate the potential protective effects of TSG on mitochondrial functions.

Dynamic coupling of ferrihydrite transformation and associated arsenic desorption/redistribution mediated by sulfate-reducing bacteria

Risk control is the core of the commercial bank credit business. In recent years, the rapid development of internet and financial technology has created basic conditions for big data credit agencies to help commercial banks fully tap customer information, strengthen dynamic risk control model management, and improve the effectiveness and scientificity of loan decision-making. More and more commercial banks and big data credit agencies cooperate in depth through data sharing, joint modeling and other ways, and adopt different charging methods to realize risk sharing. In particular, small and medium-sized commercial banks with weak technical strength have stronger risk control dependence on big data credit agencies. The independence of big data credit agencies determines their choice in customer diversion, profit sharing and other aspects, and also determines the effect of commercial banks credit risk control, which deserves attention and research.

Sulfate-reducing bacteria play an important role in the geochemistry of iron(oxyhydr)oxide and arsenic(As)in natural environments;however,the associated reaction processes are yet to be fully understood.In this study,batch experiments coupled with geochemical,spectroscopic,microscopic,and thermodynamic analyses were conducted to investigate the dynamic coupling of ferrihydrite transformation and the associated As desorption/redistribution mediated by Desulfovibrio vulgaris(D.vulgaris).The results indicated that D.vulgaris could induce ferrihydrite transformation via S^(2-)-driven and direct reduction processes.In the absence of SO_(4)^(2-),D.vulgaris directly reduced ferrihydrite,and As desorption and re-sorption occurred simultaneously during the partial transformation of ferrihydrite to magnetite.The increase in SO_(4)^(2-)loading promoted the S^(2-)-driven reduction of ferrihydrite and accelerated the subsequent mineralogical transformation.In the low and medium SO_(4)^(2-)treatments,ferrihydrite was completely transformed to a mixture of magnetite and mackinawite,which increased the fraction of As in the residual phase and stabilized As.In the high SO_(4)^(2-)treatment,although the replacement of ferrihydrite by only mackinawite also increased the fraction of As in the residual phase,22.1%of the total As was released into the solution due to the poor adsorption affinity of As to mackinawite and the conversion of As^(5+)to As^(3+).The mechanisms of ferrihydrite reduction,mineralogy transformation,and As mobilization and redistribution mediated by sulfate-reducing bacteria are closely related to the surrounding SO_(4)^(2-)loadings.These results advance our understanding of the biogeochemical behavior of Fe,S,and As,and are helpful for the risk assessment and remediation of As contamination.

本研究以北京、上海、天津三个超大城市为例,从“城市促进青年发展”的角度出发,围绕青年特点和发展需求,构建了包括发展基础、宜业、宜居、宜育、宜乐5个维度44个具体方面的城市发展综合评价指标体系,运用熵权法计算城市发展综合指数得分。将2010—2018年CGSS微观数据与城市发展综合指数数据匹配,探究青年幸福感总体情况及变化趋势,测算城市发展的主观福利效应。研究发现:城市青年幸福感呈不断提升趋势,城市综合发展水平与青年幸福感显著正相关,城市综合发展水平对不同阶层青年群体幸福感影响程度存在差异。为促进青年高质量发展并进一步提升其在城市生活的幸福感,应着力凸显青年发展型城市建设、做好普惠型青年发展服务,聚焦青年迫切需求,在推动城市发展中提升青年生活品质,建立健全青年发展型城市动态监测评估机制。
