Research progress in assessment and strategies for sustainable food system within planetary boundaries

Meeting the increasing food demand in a manner that ensures both resources and environmental sustainability poses a global *** conceptual framework of planetary boundaries(PBs)has emerged as a crucial reference in the study of sustainable food system,with specific focuses on key dimensions such as land use change,freshwater use,nitrogen(N)and phosphorus(P)cycles,and greenhouse gas(GHG)*** this study,we summarized the threshold applications of PBs in sustainable food system research at both the global and national(China)*** on these thresholds,we evaluated the sustainability conditions of the food system,considering resources such as cropland,freshwater,N and P applications,as well as environmental impacts including N and P losses,and GHG *** addition,we explored the impacts of single or combined management strategies on sustainable food *** strategies included dietary changes,improvements in technologies and management,reductions in food loss and waste,and optimization in agricultural production ***,we outlined future research directions in sustainable food system,including enhancing research on the interaction mechanisms among PBs elements within food systems,conducting downscaling studies of PBs elements at national and regional levels,and ensuring the rationality of policy-making for sustainable food systems in *** study can provide a theoretical foundation and strategies guidance for sustainable food system and agricultural land use management in the future both globally and in China.

Objective:This study aimed to compare the mood state of patients with severe pelvic organ prolapse(POP)before and after ***:This prospective study enrolled 100 patients with severe POP who were surgically treated between October 2016 and February *** clinical severity of POP was evaluated using the POP Quantification(POPQ)*** state evaluation,using the Hamilton anxiety(HAMA)and the Hamilton depression(HAMD)scale,was performed preoperatively and at 3 and 6 months ***:The POP-Q stage was significantly improved postoperatively(P0.05).Conclusions:Patients with severe POP have different anxiety and depression symptoms *** individualized surgical treatment is effective for improving the clinical severity of severe POP and might alleviate or improve POP-related anxiety or depression symptoms.

A new scheme of PM_(2.5)and O_(3) control strategies with the integration of SOM,GA and WRF-CAMx

Previous air pollution control strategies didn’t pay enough attention to regional collaboration and the spatial response sensitivities,resulting in limited control effects in *** study proposed an effective PM_(2.5)and O_(3) control strategy scheme with the integration of Self-Organizing Map(SOM),Genetic Algorithm(GA)and WRF-CAMx,emphasizing regional collaborative control and the strengthening of control in sensitive *** scheme embodies the idea of hierarchical management and spatial-temporally differentiated management,with SOM identifying the collaborative subregions,GA providing the optimized subregion-level priority of precursor emission reductions,and WRF-CAMx providing response sensitivities for grid-level priority of precursor emission *** Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and the surrounding area(BTHSA,“2+26”cities)as the case study area,the optimized strategy required that regions along Taihang Mountains strengthen the emission reductions of all precursors in PM_(2.5)-dominant seasons,and strengthen VOCs reductions but moderate NOx reductions in O_(3)-dominant *** spatiotemporally differentiated control strategy,without additional emission reduction burdens than the 14th Five-Year Plan proposed,reduced the average annual PM_(2.5)and MDA8 O_(3) concentrations in 28 cities by 3.2%-8.2% and 3.9%-9.7% respectively in comparison with non-differential control strategies,with the most prominent optimization effects occurring in the heavily polluted seasons(6.9%-18.0%for PM_(2.5)and 3.3%-14.2% for MDA8 O_(3),respectively).This study proposed an effective scheme for the collaborative control of PM_(2.5)and O_(3) in BTHSA,and shows important methodological implications for other regions suffering from similar air quality problems.

Identification and anatomy of oceanic arcs within ancient orogenic belt are significant for better understanding the tectonic framework and closure process of paleo-ocean *** article summarizes the geological,geochemical,and geochronological characteristics of upper crust of Proto-Tethyan Lajishan intra-oceanic arc and provides new data to constrain the subduction evolution of the South Qilian *** intra-oceanic arc volcanic rocks,including intermediate-mafic lava,breccia,tuff,and minor felsic rocks,are distributed along southern part of the Lajishan ophiolite *** and isotopic compositions indicate that the intermediate-mafic lava were originated from depleted mantle contaminated by sediment melts or hydrous fluids,whereas the felsic rocks were likely generated by partial melting of juvenile mafic crust in intra-oceanic arc *** from felsic rocks yield consistent and concordant ages ranging from 506 to 523 Ma,suggesting these volcanic rocks represent the relicts of upper crust of the Cambrian intra-oceanic *** with the Cambrian forearc ophiolite and accretionary complex,we suggest that the Cambrian intra-oceanic arc in the Lajishan ophiolite belt is belonging to the intra-oceanic arc system which was generated by south-directed subduction in the South Qilian Ocean at a relatively short interval between approximately 530 and 480 Ma.

目的 :探讨肝细胞癌中缺氧对肝配蛋白A3(ephrin A3,EFNA3)的调控作用,以及沉默EFNA3基因表达对缺氧诱导的肝细胞癌细胞迁移和侵袭的影响。方法 :肝细胞癌HCC-LY10和MHCC-97L细胞缺氧条件下培养0、12、24和48h,采用实时荧光定量PCR法检测2株细胞中EFNA3m RNA和长链非编码RNA(long non-coding RNA,Lnc RNA)EFNA3的表达水平,蛋白质印迹法检测EFNA3和缺氧诱导因子1α(hypoxiainduciblefactor-1α,HIF-1α)蛋白的表达水平。采用脂质体法将mi R-210-3p-mimic和阴性对照(NC-mimic)转入HCC-LY10和MHCC-97L细胞,实时荧光定量PCR检测mi R-210-3p的转染效率,以及mi R-210-3p过表达后常氧和缺氧条件下EFNA3 m RNA和Lnc RNA EFNA3表达水平的变化,同时采用蛋白质印迹法检测HIF-1α和EFNA3蛋白表达水平的变化。采用慢病毒感染法将靶向HIF-1α和HIF-2α基因的sh RNA慢病毒重组载体GV248-sh HIF-1α-1、GV248-sh HIF-1α-2、GV248-sh HIF-2α-1和GV248-sh HIF-2α-2及阴性对照GV248-NC转入HCC-LY10和MHCC-97L细胞,实时荧光定量PCR检测HIF-1α和HIF-2α的干扰效率,以及沉默HIF-1α和HIF-2α表达后缺氧条件下EFNA3m RNA和Lnc RNAEFNA3表达水平的变化;采用慢病毒感染法将靶向EFNA3基因的sh RNA重组慢病毒载体LVRU6GP-sh EFNA3-1和LVRU6GP-sh EFNA3-2及阴性对照LVRU6GPNC转入HCC-LY10和MHCC-97L细胞,采用蛋白质印迹法检测EFNA 3基因的干扰效率,Transwell小室法检测沉默EFNA3表达后缺氧条件下对肝细胞癌细胞HCC-LY10和MHCC-97L迁移和侵袭的影响。结果:在缺氧培养条件下,肝细胞癌HCC-LY10和MHCC-97L细胞中EFNA3 m RNA的表达水平无明显变化(P值均> 0.05),Lnc RNA EFNA3和EFNA3蛋白的表达水平均明显上调(P值均 0.05),但能够下调缺氧诱导的EFNA3蛋白表达水平(P值均 0.05),稳定干扰HIF-1α表达可下调Lnc RNA EFNA3的表达水平(P值均 0.05);稳定干扰EFNA3表达后显著抑制缺氧诱导的HCC-LY10和MHCC-97L细胞的迁移和侵袭能力的增加(P值均<0.01)。结论 :缺氧条件下,HIF-1α可上调Lnc RNAEFNA3的水平,竞争性结合mi R-210-3p,从而上调EFNA3蛋白的表达水平,干扰EFNA3的表达能抑制肝细胞癌细胞的迁移和侵袭能力。

基于CWSI的汾河流域干旱时空变化特征

基于MOD16数据,计算作物缺水指数(Crop Water Stress Index,CWSI),结合汾河流域气象站点数据、植被指数数据和土地利用数据,采用差值法、线性趋势法和相关分析法,分析汾河流域2000—2021年干旱时空变化特征。结果表明:(1)CWSI能有效监测汾河流域旱情,其与10 cm土壤相对湿度呈显著负相关。(2)汾河流域CWSI空间分布差异明显,呈现出南湿北旱的特点。(3)汾河流域CWSI年际变化较为平稳,而月变化波动较大,5月CWSI达到年内峰值。(4)汾河流域不同生长期内干旱情况差异显著,生长季前期(4—5月)特旱区占汾河流域总面积的48.55%;生长季中期(6—8月)基本全域无旱;生长季后期(9—10月),仅11.17%的地区发生干旱。(5)不同土地利用类型干旱程度不同,CWSI从小到大依次为:林地(0.686)<草地(0.749)<耕地(0.751)<未利用地(0.758)<城镇(0.765)。本研究结果可为汾河流域旱情监测和抗旱决策的制定提供科学数据支撑。

The chemical evolution and pressure-temperature conditions of subduction zone magmatism along ancient suture zones in orogenic belts can provide important information regarding plate convergence processes in *** magmatism in West Junggar is key to understanding the tectonothermal and subduction history of the Junggar Ocean,which was a branch of the Paleo-Asian Ocean,as well as the accretionary processes in the southwestern Central Asian Orogenic Belt(CAOB).We undertook a geochronological,mineralogical,geochemical,and Sr-Nd-Hf-Pb isotopic study of volcanic rocks from the Baikouquan area of West *** used these data to determine the petrogenesis,mantle source,and pressure-temperature conditions of these magmas,and further constrain the subduction and tectonic history of the Junggar *** studied volcanic rocks yielded zircon U-Pb ages of 342-337 Ma and are characterized by enrichments of large-ion lithophile elements(LILEs),and depletions in high-field-strength elements(HFSEs),indicative of an island arc *** volcanic rocks have positiveƐNd(t)(5.83-7.04)andƐHf(t)(13.47-15.74)values,87Sr/86Sr(t)ratios of 0.704023-0.705658,and radiogenic 207Pb/204Pb(t)and 208Pb/204Pb(t)ratios at a given 206Pb/204Pb(t)ratio,indicative of a depleted mantle source contaminated by subduction-related *** modeling calculations indicate that≤1%of a subduction component comprising fluid and sediment melt could have generated the source of the parental melts of the Baikouquan volcanic *** phenocrysts in the volcanic rocks are classified as high-and low-Ti clinopyroxene,and pressure-temperature calculations suggest the host rocks formed at high temperatures(~1300℃)and shallow to moderate depths(<2 GPa).The magma was probably generated by hot and hydrous melting in a mantle wedge in response to subduction of young,hot oceanic *** present results,combined with published data,suggest that the Baikouquan volcanic r

To the Editor:Probiotics are a promising treatment modality for functional constipation(FC);however,the factors affecting individual responses to probiotics remain *** evidence has identified that there is a strong relationship among the gut microbiota and constipation and related gut-brain axis.[1]The gut microbiota may modulate the gut functions via gut metabolites or trigger the release of gut hormones,such as peptide YY,gastric inhibitory polypeptide,and 5-hydroxytryptamine.[2]In turn,gut hormones affect gut secretion,motility,and sensation through their receptors located on epithelial,enteric,and smooth muscle cells.[2]Based on these findings,exogenous probiotics have been used in patients with constipation;however,few have produced consistent results.[3]In this study,we investigated the efficacy and safety of several specific probiotics strains for constipation,and also examined the potential reasons for the individualized effects of probiotics,which may facilitate interventional decisionmaking for FC patients.
