Polyoxometalate-based flexible conductive materials with superionic conductivity

Flexible ion-conductive materials exhibit intriguing advantages for applications in flexible electronic ***,the further enhancement of their conductivity within environmental limitations is an urgent demand for the development of flexible electronic devices,yet remains as a great ***,we report a“dual-acid”strategy,via the encapsulation of two acids,H3PW12O40（HPW） and NH2SO3H（SA）,with synergistic interaction into poly（vinyl alcohol）-glycerol（PVA-Gly） hydrogel,to achieve polyoxometalate（POM）-based flexible materials with superionic conductivity under various environmental *** a representative example,the prepared PVA-Gly/HPW-SA-20% hydrogel presents an ultrahigh proton conductivity ranging from -30℃(3.33×10-2S cm-1) to room temperature(2.78×10-1S cm-1) under ambient ***,the PVA-Gly/HPW-SA-20% hydrogel exhibits remarkable advantages in anti-freezing,mechanical flexibility and self-adhesiveness,making it a promising multifunctional electrolyte for flexible electronic *** experimental results and molecular dynamics（MD） simulations jointly demonstrate that SA bridges HPW clusters to form a dense proton transport pathway induced by multiple electrostatic and hydrogen bonding interactions between SA and HPW counterparts,which contributes to the high-level proton conductivity of the PVA-Gly/HPW-SA-20% *** work provides new insights into the design of POM-based flexible materials with superionic conductivity.

Curved anisotropic polaritons

The curved surface has emerged as new research platform for understanding and manipulating novel electromagnetic behaviors in complex media. In this paper, we explore the anisotropic polaritons on the spherical surface based on Maxwell’s fish-eye metric through stereographic projection. Additionally, this phenomenon can be extended to spindle surface by conformal mapping. Our calculations and simulations demonstrate the elliptic and hyperbolic polaritons, excited by an electric dipole on the sphere, will self-focus or focus on the poles on the sphere affected by anisotropic permittivity. Furthermore, we reveal the optical singularity nature of the curved hyperbolic polaritons from the perspective of transformation optics by obtaining the equivalent optical refractive index profiles and the particle potential energy. Based on natural anisotropic materials and metamaterials, the curved polaritons have potential applications in curved surface focusing and chaos regulation. This work not only bridges the transformation optics and anisotropic polaritons at curved surface, but also provides a new route to surface optical field manipulation.

Mutations in the SARS-CoV-2 spike receptor binding domain and their delicate balance between ACE2 affinity and antibody evasion

Intensive selection pressure constrains the evolutionary trajectory of SARS-CoV-2 genomes and results in various novel variants with distinct mutation *** mutations,particularly those within the receptor binding domain(RBD)of SARS-CoV-2 spike(S)protein,lead to the functional alteration in both receptor engagement and monoclonal antibody(mAb)***,we review the data of the RBD point mutations possessed by major SARS-CoV-2 variants and discuss their individual effects on ACE2 affinity and immune *** single amino acid substitutions within RBD epitopes crucial for the antibody evasion capacity may conversely weaken ACE2 binding ***,this weakened effect could be largely compensated by specific epistatic mutations,such as N501Y,thus maintaining the overall ACE2 affinity for the spike protein of all major *** predominant direction of SARS-CoV-2 evolution lies neither in promoting ACE2 affinity nor evading mAb neutralization but in maintaining a delicate balance between these two ***,this review interprets how RBD mutations efficiently resist antibody neutralization and meanwhile how the affinity between ACE2 and spike protein is maintained,emphasizing the significance of comprehensive assessment of spike mutations.

A stable implicit nodal integration-based particle finite element method(N-PFEM)for modelling saturated soil dynamics

In this study,we present a novel nodal integration-based particle finite element method(N-PFEM)designed for the dynamic analysis of saturated *** approach incorporates the nodal integration technique into a generalised Hellinger-Reissner(HR)variational principle,creating an implicit PFEM *** mitigate the volumetric locking issue in low-order elements,we employ a node-based strain smoothing *** discretising field variables at the centre of smoothing cells,we achieve nodal integration over cells,eliminating the need for sophisticated mapping operations after re-meshing in the *** express the discretised governing equations as a min-max optimisation problem,which is further reformulated as a standard second-order cone programming(SOCP)***,pore water pressure,and displacements are simultaneously determined using the advanced primal-dual interior point ***,our numerical model offers improved accuracy for stresses and pore water pressure compared to the displacement-based PFEM *** experiments demonstrate that the N-PFEM efficiently captures both transient and long-term hydro-mechanical behaviour of saturated soils with high accuracy,obviating the need for stabilisation or regularisation techniques commonly employed in other nodal integration-based PFEM *** work holds significant implications for the development of robust and accurate numerical tools for studying saturated soil dynamics.

Morphological characteristics and evolution model of slope units along loess gully cross section

Gully morphology is an important part of loess landform *** with gully development,the variation of its cross section is the most significant,and it can intuitively reflect the characteristics of the lateral widening of the gully ***,in-depth research of the variation of the cross-sectional morphology of the gully is helpful to understanding the development process of the loess *** on the DEMs(Digital Elevation Model)of nine periods of an indoor simulated loess small watershed,this paper studies the evolution model of a complete branch ditch in the watershed using the digital terrain analysis theory and *** show that with the development of the gully,the average gradient of the gully slope continuously decreases,and the slope morphology is mostly a concave slope along the slope *** degree of downward concave first increases and then gradually tends to be *** gully erosion mode is gradually transformed from downward cutting erosion to lateral *** more mature the gully development,the lower the depth of gully bottom cutting is compared with the width of gully ***,the surface cutting depth tends to be stable and the slope is ***,the transformation law of the slope morphology of the gully cross section with the development of the gully is studied,and the prediction model of the transformation of the slope morphology of the gully cross section is established by using the Markov *** Markov model can better reflect the dynamic change of the slope morphology of the gully cross section,which is of great significance to revealing the external performance and internal mechanism of the gully morphology.

Can Industrial Structure Upgrading Restrain Industrial Land Expansion?Evidence from China

China has made great achievements in industrial development and is transforming into a powerful manufacturing ***,the industrial land scale is also ***,whether industrial structure upgrading achieves the purpose of restraining industrial land expansion remains *** calculating the industrial land structure index(ILSI)and industrial land expansion scale(ILES),this study analyzed their temporal and spatial distribution characteristics at both regional and city levels from 2007to 2020 in *** show that industrial land expansion presents a different trend in the four regions,the ILES in the eastern region is the largest,and the speed of industrial land expansion has declined since 2013,but it has gradually increased since *** ILSI of the eastern and central regions is higher than that of the western and northeastern ***,a spatial Durbin model(SDM)has been established to estimate the spatial effect of industrial structure upgrading on industrial land expansion from 2007 ***,industrial structure upgrading has not slowed industrial land *** eastern and western regions require a greater amount of industrial land while upgrading the industrial *** improvement of the infrastructure level and international trade level has promoted industrial land expansion.

Let G={Gi:i∈[n]} be a collection of not necessarily distinct n-vertex graphs with the same vertex set V,where G can be seen as an edge-colored(multi)graph and each Gi is the set of edges with color i.A graph F on V is called rainbow if any two edges of F come from different Gis’.We say that G is rainbow pancyclic if there is a rainbow cycle Cℓof lengthℓin G for each integerℓ2[3,n].In 2020,Joos and Kim proved a rainbow version of Dirac’s theorem:Ifδ(Gi)≥2/n for each i∈[n],then there is a rainbow Hamiltonian cycle in *** this paper,under the same condition,we show that G is rainbow pancyclic except that n is even and G consists of n copies of Kn/2,n/*** result supports the famous meta-conjecture posed by Bondy.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the impact of Yemazhui(Herba Eupatorii Lindleyani,HEL)against lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced acute lung injury(ALI)and explore its underlying mechanism in ***:The chemical constituents of HEL were analyzed by ultra-high performance liquid chromatographyquadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry ***,HEL was found to suppress LPS-induced ALI in ***-week-old male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into 6 groups:control,LPS,Dexamethasone(Dex),HEL low dose 6 g/kg(HEL-L),HEL medium dose 18 g/kg(HEL-M)and HEL high dose 54 g/kg(HEL-H)*** model rats were intratracheally injected with 3 mg/kg LPS to establish an ALI *** counts,lung wet/dry weight ratio,as well as myeloperoxidase(MPO)activity were determined followed by the detection with hematoxylin and eosin staining,enzyme linked immunosorbent assay,quantitative real time polymerase chain reaction,western blotting,immunohistochemistry,and ***,to explore the effect of HEL on ALI-mediated intestinal flora,we performed 16s rRNA sequencing analysis of intestinal ***:HEL attenuated LPS-induced inflammation in lung tissue and intestinal flora *** study indicated that HEL suppressed the lung coefficient and wet/dry weight ratio of LPS-induced ALI in rats,inhibited leukocytes exudation and MPO activity,and improved the pathological injury of lung *** addition,HEL reduced the expression of tumor necrosis factoralpha,interleukin-1beta(IL-1β)and interleukin-6(IL-6)in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid and serum,and inhibited nuclear displacement of nuclear factor kappa-B p65(NF-κBp65).And 18 g/kg HEL also reduced the expression levels of toll-like receptor 4(TLR4),myeloid differentiation factor 88,NF-κBp65,phosphorylated inhibitor kappa B alpha(phospho-IκBα),nod-like receptor family pyrin domain-containing 3 protein(NLRP3),IL-1β,and interleukin-18(IL-18)in lung tissue,and regulated intestinal flora disturban

Underlying anti-hypertensive mechanism of the Mizuhopecten yessoensis derived peptide NCW in spontaneously hypertensive rats via widely targeted kidney metabolomics

The angiotensin-converting enzyme(ACE)inhibitory peptide NCW derived from Mizuhopecten yessoensis has been demonstrated to have significant in vivo anti-hypertensive effects,however,its anti-hypertensive mechanism is still not fully *** study established a UPLC-Q-TRAP-MS/MS-based widely targeted kidney metabolomics approach to explore the changes of kidney metabolic profiles and to clarify the antihypertensive mechanism of peptide NCW in spontaneously hypertensive rats(SHRs).Multivariate statistical analysis indicated that the kidney metabolic profiles were clearly separated between the SHR-NCW and SHRUntreated groups.A total of 85 metabolites were differentially regulated,and 16 metabolites were identified as potential kidney biomarkers,e.g.,3-hydroxybutyrate,malonic acid,deoxycytidine,and L-aspartic *** peptide NCW might regulate kidney metabolic disorder of SHRs to alleviate hypertension by suppressing inflammation and improving nitric oxide production under the regulation of linoleic acid metabolism,folate related pathways,synthesis and degradation of ketone bodies,pyrimidine metabolism,β-alanine metabolism,and retinal metabolism.

Reactive Transport Process of Earthquake-induced Hydrochemical Changes in Guanding Thermal Spring,Western Sichuan,China

Earthquake-related hydrochemical changes in thermal springs have been widely observed;however,quantitative modeling of the reactive transport process is *** the present study,we apply reactive transport simulation to capture the hydrochemical responses in a thermal spring following the Wenchuan Ms 8.0 and Lushan Ms 7.0 *** first constrain deep reservoir geothermal fluid compositions and temperature by multicomponent geothermometry,and then a reactive geochemical transport model is constructed to reproduce the hydrochemical evolution *** results show that the recharge from the shallow aquifer increases gradually until it reaches a peak because of the permeability enhancement caused by the Lushan earthquake,which may be the mechanism to explain the earthquake-related hydrochemical *** contrast to the postseismic effect of the Wenchuan earthquake,the chemical evolution can be considered as hydrochemical anomalies related to the Lushan *** study proves that the efficient simulation of reactive transport processes is useful for investigating earthquake-related signals in hydrochemical time series.
