Two-dimensional(2D)ferroelectric materials,which possess electrically switchable spontaneous polarization and can be easily integrated with semiconductor technologies,is of utmost importance in the advancement of high-integration low-power *** the experimental discovery of certain 2D ferroelectric materials such as CuInP2S6 and In2Se3,achieving stable ferroelectricity at room temperature in these materials continues to present a significant ***,stable ferroelectric order at room temperature in the 2D limit is demonstrated in van der Waals SnP_(2)S_(6) atom layers,which can be fabricated via mechanical exfoliation of bulk SnP_(2)S_(6) *** polarization is observed in thin SnP_(2)S_(6) of~7 ***,a van der Waals ferroelectric field-effect transistor(Fe-FET)with ferroelectric SnP_(2)S_(6) as top-gate insulator and ptype WTe0.6Se1.4 as the channel was designed and fabricated successfully,which exhibits a clear clockwise hysteresis loop in transfer characteristics,demonstrating ferroelectric properties of SnP_(2)S_(6) atomic *** addition,a multilayer graphene/SnP_(2)S_(6)/multilayer graphene van der Waals vertical heterostructure phototransistor was also fabricated successfully,exhibiting improved optoelectronic performances with a responsivity(R)of 2.9 A/W and a detectivity(D)of 1.4×10^(12) *** results show that SnP_(2)S_(6) is a promising 2D ferroelectric material for ferroelectric-integrated low-power 2D devices.

The spread of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)has resulted in significant casualties and put immense strain on public health systems worldwide,leading to economic recession and social *** response,various prevention and control strategies have been implemented globally,including vaccine and drug development and the promotion of preventive *** these strategies has effectively curbed the transmission of the virus,reduced infection rates,and gradually restored normal social and economic ***,the mutations of SARS-CoV-2 have led to inevitable infections and reinfections,and the number of deaths continues to ***,there is still a need to improve existing prevention and control strategies,mainly focusing on developing novel vaccines and drugs,expediting medical authorization processes,and keeping epidemic *** measures are crucial to combat the Coronavirus disease(COVID-19)pandemic and achieve sustained,long-term prevention,management,and disease ***,we summarized the characteristics of existing COVID-19 vaccines and drugs and suggested potential future directions for their ***,we discussed the COVID-19-related policies implemented over the past years and presented some strategies for the future.

In this paper,we define the evolute and focal surface of a spacelike framed curve with lightlike components in Minkowski *** is a generalization of the previous results of regular spacelike curves,since singularities are allowed in the original spacelike curves studied by spacelike framed curves with lightlike ***,we show a new geometric invariant to characterise singularities of the focal ***,the classification theorem and recognition theorem for the singularities of the focal surface in generic are also given.

An Ion-Pumping Interphase on Graphdiyne/Graphite Heterojunction for Fast-Charging lithium-Ion Batteries

The sluggish lithium-ion(li-ion)transport kinetics in graphite anode hinders its application in fast-charging li-ion batteries(liBs).Here,we develop an ionpumping interphase(IPI)on graphdiyne(GDY)/graphite heterojunction anodes to boost the ionic transport kinetics and enable high-performance,fast-charging *** IPI changed the ion solvation/desolvation environment by covalent/non-covalent interactions with li ions or solvents to optimize solid-electrolyte interphase(SEI)and regulate li-ion transport *** studied the in situ growth of few-layer GDY on graphite surface(GDY/graphite)as the IPI and found that the strong interaction between GDY and li ions enabled surface-induced modification of the ion solvation behavior and surface-assisted desolvation effect to accelerate the li-ion desolvation process.A functional anion-derived SEI layer with improved li-ion conductivity was *** with the generated built-in electric field at GDY/graphite hetero-interface self-pumping li ions to intercalate into the graphite,the li-ion transport kinetics was significantly enhanced to effectively eliminate li plating and large voltage polarization of the graphite anodes.A fast li intercalation in GDY/graphite without li oversaturation at the edge of the graphite was directly *** superior performance with high capacity(139.2 mA h g^(-1))and long lifespan(1650 cycles)under extremely fast-charging conditions(20 C,1 C=372 mA g^(-1))was achieved on GDY/graphite *** at low temperatures(-20℃),a specific capacity of 128.4 mA h g^(-1) was achieved with a capacity retention of 80%after 500 cycles at a 2 C rate.

Centennial Analysis of Human Activity Intensity and Associated Historical Events in Heilongjiang River Sino-Russo Watershed

Human activities in a transborder watershed are complex under the influence of domestic policies,international relations,and global *** the forces driving human activity change is important for the development of transborder *** this study,we used global historical land cover data,the hemeroby index model,and synthesized major historical events to analyze how human activity intensity changed in the Heilongjiang River(Amur River in Russia)watershed(HLRW).The results showed that there was a strong spatial heterogeneity in the variation of human activity intensity in the HLRW over the past century(1900-2016).On the Chinese side,the human activity intensity change shifted from the plain areas for agricultural reclamation to the mountainous areas for timber *** the Russian side,human activity intensity changes mostly concentrated along the Trans-Siberian Railway and the Baikal-Amur *** variation of human activity intensity tended to respond to regional events while regionalized variation tends to reflect national policy change or broad international *** similarities and differences between China and Russia in policies and positions in international events resulted in synchronous and asynchronous changes in human activity ***,policy shifts were often confined by the natural features of the *** results reveal the historical origins and fundamental connotations of watershed development and contribute to formulating regional management policies that coordinate population,eco-nomic,social,and environmental activities.

Diagnosis of the Kinetic Energy of the“21·7”Extreme Torrential Rainfall Event in Henan Province,China

An extreme torrential rain(ETR)event occurred in Henan Province,China,during 18-21 July *** on hourly rain-gauge observations and ERA5 reanalysis data,the ETR was studied from the perspective of kinetic energy(K),which can be divided into rotational wind(V_(R))kinetic energy(K_(R)),divergent wind kinetic energy(K_(D)),and the kinetic energy of the interaction between the divergent and rotational winds(K_(RD)).According to the hourly precipitation intensity variability,the ETR process was divided into an initial stage,a rapid increase stage,and maintenance *** showed that the intensification and maintenance of ETR were closely related to the upper-level K,and most closely related to the upperlevel K_(R),with a correlation coefficient of up to *** particular,the peak value of hourly rainfall intensity lagged behind the K_(R) by 8 ***,diagnosis showed that K transformation from unresolvable to resolvable scales made the ETR increase *** meridional rotational wind(u_(R))and meridional gradient of the geopotential(φ)jointly determined the conversion of available potential energy(APE)to K_(R) through the barotropic process,which dominated the rapid enhancement of K_(R) and then caused the rapid increase in *** transportation of K by rotational wind consumed K_(R),and basically offset the K_(R) produced by the barotropic process,which basically kept K_(R) stable at a high value,thus maintaining the ETR.

Global Stability of a Viral Infection Model with Defectively Infected Cells and Latent Age

The authors propose and analyze a viral infection model with defectively infected cells and age of the latently infected cells. The existence of steady states is determined by the basic reproduction number of virus. With the Lyapunov's direct method, they establish a threshold dynamics of the model with the basic reproduction number of virus as the threshold parameter. To achieve it, a novel procedure is proposed. Its novelties are two-folded. On one hand, the coefficients involved in the specific forms of the used Lyapunov functionals for the two feasible steady states are determined by the same set of inequalities. On the other hand, for the infection steady state, a new approach is proposed to check whether the derivative of the Lyapunov functional candidate along solutions is negative(semi-)definite or not. This procedure not only simplifies the analysis but also exhibits the relationship between the two Lyapunov functionals for the two feasible steady states. Moreover, the procedure is expected to be applicable for other similar models.

Present-day Upper-crustal Strain Rate Field in Southeastern Tibet and its Geodynamic Implications:Constraints from GPS Measurements with ABIC Method

The Earth’s surface kinematics and deformation are fundamental to understanding crustal *** effective research approach is to estimate regional motion field and deformation fields based on modern geodetic *** the discrete observed velocity field is obtained,the velocity related fields,such as dilatation rate and maximum shear strain rate,can be estimated by applying varied mathematical *** study applied Akaike's Bayesian Information Criterion(ABIC)method to calculate strain rate fields constrained by GPS observations in the southeast Tibetan *** with results derived from other three methods revealed that our ABIC-derived strain rate fields were more *** maximum shear strain rate highlighted the Xianshuihe–Xiaojiang fault system as the main boundary for the outward migration of material in southeastern Tibet,indicating rotation of eastern Tibet material around the eastern Himalaya rather than whole extrusion along a fixed ***,distinct dilatation rate patterns in the northeast and southwest regions of the fault system were *** northeast region,represented by the Longmenshan area,exhibited negative dilatational anomalies;while the southwest region,represented by the Jinsha River area north of 29°N,displayed positive dilatational *** indicates compression in the former and extension in the *** with deep geophysical observations,we believe that the upper and lower crusts of the Jinsha River area north of 29°N are in an entire expanding state,probably caused by the escape-drag effect of *** presence of a large,low-viscosity region south of 29°N may not enable the entire escape of the crust,but instead result in a differential escape of the lower crust faster than the upper crust.

Distribution assessment of soil erosion with revised RUSLE model in Tianshan Mountains

aSoil degradation caused by soil erosion is one of the world's most critical environmental *** erosion in the Tianshan Mountains has caused various environmental problems in the surrounding *** study used remote sensing data to analyze the distribution of the factors influencing soil erosion,and the revised universal soil loss equation(RUSLE)to calculate the total amount and distribution characteristics of soil erosion in the Tianshan Mountains in *** to the large error of RUSLE in soil erosion estimation in mountainous areas,this study modified RUSLE equation based on the characteristics of snow cover in the Tianshan *** results show that the average soil erosion was 1690.3 t/(km^(2)·year),of which insignificant erosion,slight erosion and moderate erosion accounted for 42,8%,22.4%and 9.9%,*** erosion and above accounted for 13.3%.The accuracy of the soil erosion modulus calculated by the RUSLE was only 61.9%,with an average error of 1631.9 t/(km^(2)·year).The average error of the double-coefficient correction method was 1259.1 t/(km^(2)·year),and the average error of the modified formula method was reduced by 40.3%compared with the RUSLE,reaching 973.7 t/(km^(2)·year),and its accuracy reached 76.2%.Very severe erosion and catastrophic erosion are distributed on mountain ridges with higher elevation and on the northern area with higher *** cover has a certain inhibitory effect on soil erosion,and snow cover in alpine mountains is a factor that cannot be ignored in soil erosion research.
