Glycine max *** a large amount of isoflavonoid compounds,which is beneficial for plant defense,plant-microbe symbiotic interactions,and human *** CYP450 subfamily genes are involved in the flavonoid biosynthetic pathway in *** the present study,we found 24 CYP82 subfamily genes were differentially expressed in various tissues of soybean,in Phytophthora sojae-infected soybean varieties and in soybean hairy roots treated with cell wall glucan *** of them(GmCYP82A2,GmCYP82A3,GmCYP82A4,GmCYP82A23,GmCYP82C20 and GmCYP82D26)were co-expressed with other known isoflavonoid pathway genes in *** enzymatic activity in yeast feeding assays showed that only GmCYP82D26 was able to convert naringenin to daidzein with both aryl migration and dehydration *** GmCYP82D26 was over-expressed in soybean hairy roots,the contents of the two major isoflavonoid aglycones in soybean(daidzein and genistein)were reduced,but total flavonoids were not *** GmCYP82D26 was suppressed by RNAi in the hairy roots,daidzein content was decreased but genistein content was increased,with unchanged total flavonoid ***82D26 was found to be localized in the endoplasmic reticulum at subcellular level when transiently expressed in tobacco leaf ***82D26 gene was preferentially expressed in roots,with low expression level in other tissues in *** modeling and molecular docking showed that GmCYP82D26 could form hydrogen bond with both HEM and naringenin at C5-OH and C4 *** these results indicated that GmCYP82D26 possesses new and dual enzymatic activity,which bridges the two branches(daidzein and genistein branch)of isoflavonoid pathway in soybean.

In our case,3D printing was used to fabricate a custom-made titanium alloy total talar prosthesis as a mirror image of the contralateral healthy talus for a 16-year-old girl who underwent right talar resection for a recurrent giant cell tumour(GCT)of the talus.A porous surface was used over the neck and tail of the talus prosthesis to promote soft tissue attachment and improve the stability of the ***-drilled medial and lateral holes were prepared for ligament repair and *** months after the operation,there was no tumour recurrence,and the patient walked without *** Musculoskeletal Tumour Society score was 22/30,the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society score was 88/100,and the prosthesis was well positioned on *** short-and medium-term outcomes indicated that 3D-printed modular talar prostheses could be an effective treatment option.

The key to managing fracture is to achieve stable internal fixation,and currently,biologically and mechanically appropriate internal fixation devices are urgently *** excellent biocompatibility and corrosion resistance,titanium–niobium alloys have the potential to become a new generation of internal fixation materials for ***,the role and mechanism of titanium–niobium alloys on promoting fracture healing are still ***,in this study,we systematically evaluated the bone-enabling properties of Ti45Nb via in vivo and in vitro *** vitro,we found that Ti45Nb has an excellent ability to promote MC3T3-E1 cell adhesion and proliferation without obvious *** phosphatase(ALP)activity and alizarin red staining and semiquantitative analysis showed that Ti45Nb enhanced the osteogenic differentiation of MC3T3-E1 cells compared to the Ti6Al4V *** the polymerase chain reaction experiment,the expression of osteogenic genes in the Ti45Nb group,such as ALP,osteopontin(OPN),osteocalcin(OCN),type 1 collagen(Col-1)and runt-related transcription factor-2(Runx2),was significantly higher than that in the control ***,in the western blot experiment,the expression of osteogenic-related proteins in the Ti45Nb group was significantly increased,and the expression of PI3K–Akt-related proteins was also higher,which indicated that Ti45Nb might promote fracture healing by activating the PI3K–Akt signaling *** vivo,we found that Ti45Nb implants accelerated fracture healing compared to Ti6Al4V,and the biosafety of Ti45Nb was confirmed by histological ***,immunohistochemical staining confirmed that Ti45Nb may promote osteogenesis by upregulating the PI3K/Akt signaling *** study demonstrated that Ti45Nb exerts an excellent ability to promote fracture healing as well as enhance osteoblast differentiation by activating the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway,and its good biosafety has been confirmed

The concept of precision nutrition was first proposed almost a decade *** research in precision nutrition primarily focuses on comprehending individualized variations in response to dietary intake,with little attention being given to other crucial aspects of precision ***,there is a dearth of comprehensive review studies that portray the landscape and framework of precision *** review commences by tracing the historical trajectory of nutritional science,with the aim of dissecting the challenges encountered in nutrition science within the new era of disease *** review also deconstructs the field of precision nutrition into four key components:the proposal of the theory for indi-vidualized nutritional requirement phenotypes;the establishment of precise methods for measuring dietary intake and evaluating nutritional status;the creation of multidimensional nutritional interven-tion strategies that address the aspects of what,how,and when to eat;and the construction of a pathway for the translation and integration of scientific research into healthcare practices,utilizing artificial intel-ligence and information *** these four components,this review further discusses prospective avenues that warrant exploration to achieve the objective of enhancing health through pre-cision nutrition.

Reconstruction of severe bone defects in revision total knee arthroplasty(TKA)remains a challenge for *** progression of medical imaging and additive manufacturing technology has enabled the rapid manufacture of custom-made implants,and 3D-printed augments with interconnected pore structures have become an alternative approach for the reconstruction of bone defects in revision TKA,especially in patients with complex bone *** size and location of the bone defect were determined by thin-layer computed tomography(CT;layer thickness is 1 mm)after reduction of *** 3D reconstruction models of the host bone were obtained based on thin-layer CT *** custom-made augmentation was designed according to the 3D reconstruction bone *** augmentation had an interconnected porous structure on the bone-implant interface to achieve biological *** the design was complete,the 3D model of augment was exported in STL format,and augments were fabricated with Ti6Al4V powder using electron beam ***-layer CT and 3D reconstruction bone models are accurate methods for evaluating periprosthetic bone loss after artifact *** 3D-printed augments perfectly match the bone defects during surgery.3D-printed augmentation is an effective approach for the reconstruction of bone defects in revision ***,surgeons and engineers should carefully evaluate the bone defect during augment design to avoid a mismatch between the augment and host bone.

Experimental teaching plays a crucial role in the trainings of students＇ abilities to analyze and solve problems. Therefore, it is very necessary to continuously carry out experiment teaching reform, improve experiment teaching methods and means, and comprehensively open laboratories so as to provide students with more opportunities of doing experiments. To improve the teaching effect of electronic information experimental courses, a network interactive virtual experimental platform is developed. This platform allows students to finish the construction of all kinds of circuit structures and test virtual instruments in a simulation environment, upload experimental data and also interactively communicate with teachers through the lnternet. The platform can be applied to the teaching activities of related electronic information experimental courses, and also can be used as an aid teaching method for theory teachers. Therefore, it possesses a very good interactivity, and makes up the disadvantages of the experimental teaching in hardware environment, so that a feasible solution is provided for the opening of laboratories.

Magnesium(Mg)alloys that have both antibacterial and osteogenic properties are suitable candidates for orthopedic ***,the fabrication of ideal Mg implants suitable for bone repair remains challenging because it requires implants with interconnected pore structures and personalized geometric *** this study,we fabricated a porous 3D-printed Mg-Nd-Zn-Zr(denoted as JDBM)implant with suitable mechanical properties using selective laser melting *** 3D-printed JDBM implant exhibited cytocompatibility in MC3T3-E1 and RAW267.4 cells and excellent osteoinductivity in ***,the implant demonstrated excellent antibacterial ratios of 90.0% and 92.1% for methicillin-resistant ***(MRSA)and Escherichia coli,*** 3D-printed JDBM implant prevented MRSA-induced implant-related infection in a rabbit model and showed good in vivo biocompatibility based on the results of histological evaluation,blood tests,and Mg2+deposition *** addition,enhanced inflammatory response and TNF-α secretion were observed at the bone-implant interface of the 3D-printed JDBM implants during the early implantation *** high Mg^(2+)environment produced by the degradation of 3D-printed JDBM implants could promote M1 phenotype of macrophages(Tnf,iNOS,Ccl3,Ccl4,Ccl5,Cxcl10,and Cxcl2),and enhance the phagocytic ability of *** enhanced immunoregulatory effect generated by relatively fast Mg^(2+)release and implant degradation during the early implantation stage is a potential antibacterial mechanism of Mg-based *** findings indicate that 3D-printed porous JDBM implants,having both antibacterial property and osteoinductivity,hold potential for future orthopedic applications.
