An ILP-Assisted Two-Stage Layout Optimization Method for Satellite Payload Placement

In the satellite overall design phase,it is a crucial step to perform satellite layout design to guarantee that the aggregation of electronic components can operate normally and stably in an appropriate temperature environment.In order to handle the satellite payload placement problem of the DongFangHong 4(DFH-4)platform,the heat pipe-constrained component layout optimization(HCLO)problem is proposed with the HCLO model formulated.Through careful investigation,it can be divided into two optimization subproblems that can be solved subsequently.Based on the divide-and-conquer strategy,an integer linear programming-(ILP-)assisted two-stage layout optimization method is proposed.In stage one,component-heat pipe distribution optimization is performed using the ILP technique so that specific heat pipes occupied by each component can be determined and the horizontal movement range of components can be reduced.In stage two,the detailed component layout optimization is investigated to obtain the final positions of components.First,the sequence layout sampling(SeqLS)method is used to generate one nonoverlap initial layout.Next,swap operation between components is incorporated to reduce the centroid deviation.Finally,sequential quadratic programming(SQP)search is conducted based on the generated promising initial layout solutions.Therefore,the SeqLS-based heuristic layout search algorithm is proposed in the second stage.Two layout test cases,including 15 components and 90 components,respectively,are investigated to demonstrate the validity and efficacy of the proposed layout design method.Experimental results show that it is promising to apply such a two-stage approach for satellite payload placement in engineering.

The effects of long-day photoperiod on growth,photo synthetic fluorescence,carbon and nitrogen metabolism,and yield of Dendrocalamopsis oldhami and the compensation effects of fertilization were investigated.A completely randomized design was used with two light factors(bamboo culms cultivated in solar greenhouse under long-day[Ls]and short-day[Ln]treatments);two organic nitrogen fertilizer levels(application of organic fertilizer[OF]and no organic fertilizer[NF]);and three nitrogen fertilizer levels(Low[N0],medium[N1]and high nitrogen[N2]).Leaf chlorophyll and fluorescence parameters(φPo,PIABS,and ETo/CSm)decreased and DIo/CSmincreased in Ls compared to Ln.Indole acetic acid(IAA)and gibberellic acid(GA3)levels decreased,whereas abscisic acid(ABA)increased.Leaf area decreased and leaf dry mass increased.The contents of carbon and nitrogen metabolism-related enzymes(nitrate reductase,glutamine synthetase,amylase,and sucrose synthase)and products(total nitrogen,organic carbon,soluble sugar,and starch)increased.Single bamboo shoot weight and diameter at breast height decreased,whereas shoot quantity and total yield increased.Fertilizer application significantly affected physiological growth and yield in the two light treatments,thus promoting carbon and nitrogen metabolism.TheφPo,PIABS,IAA,and GA3contents increased slightly,whereas ABA levels decreased.Shoot quantity,individual weight,and total yield improved.IA A,soluble sugar,and total yield to organic manure and light were lower than those of nitrogen levels(FN>FL,FO).Other indicators showed lower responses to different fertilization treatments than the light factor(FL>FN,FO).The ability of D.oldhami to alter its morphological and physiobiochemical traits and yield in response to variations in light applications may translate into high phenotypic plasticity.Fertilization significantly improved photoplasticity of D.oldhami.Under Ls,D.oldhami had high metabolic rates.was easily inhibited by light,and showed accelerated leaf senescence,and shoot quantity and total o

A Corpus-Based Explanation of Metaphors in A House Divided

Since Lakoff and Johnson proposed conceptual metaphors in 1980,an increasing number of metaphor studies have occurred in different disciplines,however,few of them are found in literary works from a corpus perspective.On this account,the study aims at revealing how meanings are constructed through conceptual metaphors in a novel.We selected the text version of A House Divided as the research data,which is one of the most important representative works of American writer Pearl S.Buck,the winner of the Nobel Prize for literature.With the help of Word Smith Tools 6.0 to retrieve them,we find that conceptual metaphors are pervasive in it and,among them,ontological metaphors occur most,followed by structural metaphors and orientation metaphors which occur least.Pearl S.Buck’s cognitive contexts,as well as the Chinese social context in the 1930 s,may the key factors of her choice of metaphors in the writing.

AEOL-10150 is a broad-spectrum metalloporphyrin superoxidase dismutase(SOD) mimic specifically designed to neutralize reactive oxygen and nitrogen species. Research has shown that AEOL-10150 is a potent medical countermeasure against national security threats including sulfur mustard(SM), nerve agent exposure and radiation pneumonitis following a radiological/nuclear incident sufficient to cause acute radiation syndrome(ARS). AEOL-10150 performed well in animal safety studies, and two completed phase 1 safety studies in patients demonstrated that the drug was safe and well tolerated, indicating that AEOL-10150 has potential as a new catalytic antioxidant drug. In this article, we review improvements in AEOL-10150 in preclinical pharmacodynamic studies, especially regarding anti-SM,chlorine gas and radiation exposure studies.

Latent autoimmune diabetes in adults(LADA)describes a subgroup of patients who develop phenotypic type 2 diabetes(T2D)but with markers of islet autoimmunity.It is under debate whether LADA is a subtype of type 1 diabetes(T1D)or a unique disease.LADA comprises about 1.5%to 14.2%in phenotypic T2D depending on ethnicity.It is the most common form of autoimmune diabetes diagnosed in adults,with 3.3-to 12.2-fold higher prevalence than that of adult-onset T1D.

OBJECTIVE To explore the effect and mechanisms of LW-AFC,a new formula derived fromLiuwei Dihuang decoction,on chronic unpredictable mild stress(CUMS)-induced mood and cogni.tion impairment in mice.METHODS C57 BL/6 J mice were randomly placed into seven groups(n=10):normal control group,CUMS group,Fluoxetine(10 mg·kg^(-1),once per day) group,Liuwei Dihuang decoction group(LW,10 g·kg^(-1),once per day),and LW-AFC(0.8 g·kg^(-1),1.6 g·kg^(-1),3.2 g·kg^(-1),once per day) group.The stressed group was given CUMS for 4 weeks to set up a chronic multiple-stressed model.LW and LW-AFC was oral administered a week prior to CUMS and until the end of the study(a total of 35 d),while fluoxetine was administrated orally for 4 weeks.The anxiety behavior was analyzed using the open field test(OFT) and elevated plus maze test(EPM).The depression behavior was ana.lyzed using the sucrose preference test(SPT) and forced swimming test(FST).Spatial cognition was evaluated using Morris water maze(MWM) test and working memory was evaluated using new object recognition test(NORT).RESULTS CUMS for 28 d increased depressive-and anxiety-like behaviors.LW-AFC(1.6 g·kg^(-1)) significantly increased the numbers of entries into the open arm and time in the open arm of CUMS mice(P<0.05).LW-AFC(3.2 g·kg^(-1)) increased sucrose consumption and de.creased the immobility time of FST(P<0.01) of CUMS mice.The MWM test showed that spatial learning andmemory in CUMS mice were remarkably affected relative to controls,whereas LW-AFC(3.2 g·kg^(-1)) im.proves cognitive functions(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The mood and theability of learning and memory of thestressed group can be affected after exposure to CUS.Oral administration of LW-AFC significant.ly improved CUMS-induced impairments of mood and cognition in mice.

Gamete production is essential for mammalian reproduction.In the ovaries,the primordial follicle,which is the basic reproductive unit,is formed either perinatally or during the second pregnancy stage in humans.However,some oocytes die before the establishment of the primordial follicle pool.Consequently,it is essential to uncover how the size of the primordial follicle pool is determined and how the programmed cell death of oocytes is performed under potential surveillance.According to recent studies,the fate of oocytes in the fetal ovary seems to be determined by different protective strategies through the timely control of apoptosis or autophagy.In this review,we discuss at least three oocyte-derived protective biomarkers,glycogen synthase kinase 3 beta,X-linked inhibitor of apoptosis,and Lysine-specific demethylase 1(also known as KDM1A),responsible for surveilling the developmental quality of fetal oocytes to coordinate primordial follicle formation in the fetal ovary.This review contributes to a better understanding of the secrets of the female reproductive reserve under physiological conditions.

In this paper,the Joule–Thomson expansion of the higher dimensional nonlinearly anti-de Sitter(Ad S)black hole with power Maxwell invariant source is investigated.The results show the Joule–Thomson coefficient has a zero point and a divergent point,which coincide with the inversion temperature Tiand the zero point of the Hawking temperature,respectively.The inversion temperature increases monotonously with inversion pressure.For the high-pressure region,the inversion temperature decreases with the dimensionality D and the nonlinearity parameter s,whereas it increases with the charge Q.However,Tifor the low-pressure region increase with D and s,while it decreases with Q.The ratioηBHbetween the minimum inversion temperature and the critical temperature does not depend on Q,it recovers the higher dimensional Reissner–N?rdstrom Ad S black hole case when s=1.However,for s>1,it becomes smaller and smaller as D increases and approaches a constant when D→∞.Finally,we found that an increase of mass M and s,or reducing the charge Q and D can enhance the isenthalpic curve,and the effect of s on the isenthalpic curve is much greater than other parameters.

Lung cancer is the second most common and the deadliest type of cancer worldwide.Clinically,non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)is the most com-mon pathological type of lung cancer;approximately one-third of affected patients have locally advanced NSCLC(LA-NSCLC,stage III NSCLC)at diag-nosis.Because of its heterogeneity,LA-NSCLC often requires multidisciplinary assessment.Moreover,the prognosis of affected patients is much below satisfac-tion,and the efficacy of traditional therapeutic strategies has reached a plateau.With the emergence of targeted therapies and immunotherapies,as well as the continuous development of novel radiotherapies,we have entered an era of novel treatment paradigm for LA-NSCLC.Here,we reviewed the landscape of relevant therapeutic modalities,including adjuvant,neoadjuvant,and periop-erative targeted and immune strategies in patients with resectable LA-NSCLC with/without oncogenic alterations;as well as novel combinations of chemora-diation and immunotherapy/targeted therapy in unresectable LA-NSCLC.We addressed the unresolved challenges that remain in the field,and examined future directions to optimize clinical management and increase the cure rate of LA-NSCLC.
