Design parameter optimization method for a prestressed steel structure driven by multi-factor coupling

To achieve efficient structural design,it is crucial to reduce the cost of materials while ensuring structural *** study proposes an optimization method for design parameters(DPs)in a prestressed steel structure driven by multi-factor *** accomplish this,a numerical proxy model of prestressed steel structures is established with integration of DPs and mechanical parameters(MPs).A data association-parameter analysis-optimization selection system is established.A correlation between DPs and MPs is established using a back propagation(BP)neural *** correlation provides samples for parameter analysis and optimization *** are used to characterize the safety of the *** on the safety grade analysis,the key DPs that affect the mechanical properties of the structure are obtained.A mapping function is created to match the MPs and the key *** optimal structural DPs are obtained by setting structural materials as the optimization objective and safety energy as the constraint *** theoretical model is applied to an 80-m-span gymnasium and verified with a scale test physical *** MPs obtained using the proposed method are in good agreement with the experimental *** with the traditional design method,the design cycle can be shortened by more than 90%.Driven by the optimal selection method,a saving of more than 20% can be achieved through reduction of structural material ***,the cross-sectional dimensions of radial cables have a substantial influence on vertical *** initial tension and cross-sectional size of the upper radial cable exhibit the most pronounced impact on the stress distribution in that *** initial tension and cross-sectional size of the lower radial cable hold the greatest sway over the stress distribution in that cable.

Photocurrent-voltage characterization is a crucial method for assessing key parameters in x-ray or y-ray semiconductor detectors,especially the carrier mobility lifetime ***,the high biases during photocurrent measurements tend to cause severe ion migration,which can lead to the instability and inaccuracy of the test *** the mixed electronic-ionic charac teristics,it is imperative to devise novel methods capable of precisely measuring photocurrentvoltage characteristics under high bias conditions,free from interference caused by ion *** this paper,pulsed bias is employed to explore the photocurrent-voltage characteristics of MAPbBr_(3) single *** method yields stable photocurrent-voltage characteristics at a pulsed bias of up to 30 V,proving to be effective in mitigating ion *** fitting the modified Hecht equation,we determined the mobility lifetime products of 1.0×10^(2) cm^(2)·V^(-1)for hole and 2.78×10~(-3)cm^(2)·V^(-1)for *** approach offers a promising solution for accurately measuring the transport properties of carriers in perovskite.

Identification of a sugar gustatory receptor and its effect on fecundity of the brown planthopper Nilaparvata lugens

In insects, the gustatory system plays a crucial role in multiple physiological behaviors, including feeding, toxin avoidance, courtship, mating and oviposition. Gustatory stimuli from the environment are recognized by gustatory receptors. To date, little is known about the function of gustatory receptors in agricultural pest insects. In this study, we cloned a sugar gustatory receptor gene, N/Gr11, from the brown planthopper (BPH), Nilaparvata lugens (Stal), a serious pest of rice in Asia;we then identified its ligands, namely, fructose, galactose and arabinose, by calcium imaging assay. After injection of N/Gr11 doublestranded RNA, we found that the number of eggs laid by BPH decreased. Moreover, we found that N/Gr11 inhibited the phosphorylation of adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase (AMPK) and promoted the phosphorylation of protein kinase B (AKT). These findings demonstrated that N/Gr11 could accelerate the fecundity of BPH through AMPK- and AKT-mediated signaling pathways. This is the first report to indicate that a gustatory receptor modulates the fecundity of insects and that the receptor could be a potential target for pest control.

First-principles study on the structure, electronic and magnetic properties of HoSin （n=1-12, 20） clusters

The structure, electronic and magnetic properties of HoSin（n= 1 - 12, 20） clusters have been widely investigated by first-principles calculation method based on density flmctional theory （DFT）. From our calculation results, we find that for HoSin（n=1- 12） clusters except n = 7.10, the most stable structures are a replacement of Si atom in the corresponding pure Sin＋1 clusters by Ho atom. The doping of Ho atom makes the stability of Si clusters enhance remarkably, and HoSin（n = 2, 5, 8, 11） clusters are more stable than their neighboring clusters. The magnetic moment of Ho atom in HoSin （n = 1 - 12, 20） clusters mainly comes from of electron of tto, and never quenches.

Morph-specific differences in metabolism related to flight in the wing-dimorphic Aphis gossypii

The cotton aphid, Aphis gossypii Glover, is a wing-dimorphic species, which causes globally important agricultural losses. In this present study, we compared the biochemical basis of wing polymorphism in A. gossypii with respect to trade-off of energy resources, including glycogen, trehalose, lipids （total lipid, triglyceride and phospholipid）, free fatty acids, and soluble protein between dispersal and reproduction morphs during the wing-bud nymph and adulthood. Total lipid, triglyceride and free fatty acids were significantly higher in winged versus wingless morphs at 12 h of adulthood, the period during which alates are able to fly. By contrast, the wingless morph contained more glycogen than the winged morph from the 4th nymphal stage to adulthood. Trehalose content in the wingless morph was also higher than that in the winged morph during the 3rd and 4th nymphal stages, but vice versa at 12 h of adulthood. Finally, soluble protein content increased from nymphs to adults and was higher during adulthood in aptera versus alate. Whole-body water content in 12-h adults was significantly higher in apterae than that in alatae. These results indicate significant physiological differences between morphs related to specialization for flight.

Two new oleanane triterpene saponins, named as anhuienside C (1) and D (2), were isolated from the rhizomes of Anemone anhuiensis (Ranunculaceae). The structures of the new compounds were elucidated as 3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl (1-->2)-beta-D-xylopyranosyl oleanolic acid 28-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl (1-->6)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl ester (1) and 3-O-beta-D-xylopyranosyl oleanolic acid 28-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl (1-->4)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl (1-->6)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl ester (2), respectively.

Ligand dose-dependent activation of signaling pathways through the gustatory receptor NlGr11 linked to feeding efficacy in Nilaparvata lugens

Insects often face both conditions with sufficient nutrients and conditions of undernutrition in the *** gustatory receptors,insects sense nutrients and regulate their physiological functions such as feeding and ***,it remains unclear whether signaling pathways activated by gustatory receptors depend on the concentration of nutrients and whether the difference in signaling pathways directly affects insects’physiological ***,we found that a sugar gustatory receptor,NlGr11,from the brown planthopper(BPH),Nilaparvata lugens,activated G protein-coupled signaling and ionotropic pathways when bound to high galactose *** subsequently demonstrated longer feeding times,feeding loads,and higher vitellogenin(NlVg)expression than BPHs exposed to high galactose concentrations,which only activated the ionotropic *** the first time,our findings link plant nutrient conditions,signaling pathways activated by nutrients,and their gustatory receptors,and nutrient dose-dependent feeding efficacy and vitellogenin(Vg)expression in an *** will help us to better understand the molecular mechanism for insect feeding strategies on plants at different stages of nutritional conditions.

Effects of Carrier Gas on Carbon Incorporation in GaN

GaN epitaxial layers were grown on Si （111） substrates by metal organic chemical vapor deposition. Carbon concentrations in the films grown in different ambients were measured by secondary ion mass spectrometry. The results show that the carbon incorporation is strongly dependent on the H2 flow rate when the NH3 flow rate is small, but insensitive to the H2 flow rate when the NH3 flow rate is sufficient large. We conclude that H2 can inhibit the dissociation of NH3 and result in a less active N source; an insufficiently active N source causes more N vacancies, which enhances carbon incorporation.

Involvement of mind the gap in the organization of the tracheal apical extracellular matrix in Drosophila and Nilaparvata lugens

The tracheal apical extracellular matrix(aECM)is vital for expansion of the tracheal lumen and supports the normal structure of the lumen to guarantee air entry and circulation in *** it has been found that some cuticular proteins are involved in the organization of the aECM,unidentified factors still ***,we found that mind the gap(Mtg),a predicted chitin-binding protein,is required for the normal formation of the apical chitin matrix of airway tubes in the model holometabolous insect Drosophila *** to chitin,the Mtg protein was linearly arranged in the tracheal dorsal trunk of the tracheae in *** mtg expression in the tracheae seriously affected the viability of larvae and caused tracheal chitin spiral defects in some *** of mtg mutant showed that mtg was required for normal development of tracheae in *** taenidial folds of some mtg mutant embryos were found on either lateral view of tracheal dorsal trunk or internal view of transmission electron microscopy *** abnormal tracheae were not fully filled with gas and accompanied by a reduction in tracheal width,which are characteristic phenotypes of tracheal aECM ***,in the hemimetabolous brown planthopper(BPH)Nilapat'vata lugens,downregulation of NICPAP1-N(a homolog of mtg)also led to the formation of abnormal tracheal chitin spirals and *** results suggest that mtg and its homolog are involved in the proper organization of the tracheal aECMs in flies and BPH,and that this function may be conserved in insects.
