A new dual plldium/scandium catalysis starting fromβ-alkynyl ketones and o alkynyl anilines is reported for the first time,leading to the atom-economic synthesis of rotationally hindered C3-naphthylated indoles in moderate to good yields and high *** method can tolerate normal air conditions,and features the use of palladium/scandium cooperative catalysts without any ligand,facile double annulation involving various internal alkynes,and good functional group tolerance.

Molecular scaffolds endowed with all-carbon quaternary stereocenter are ubiquitous in natural products and significant bioactive ***,efficient construction of this type of structure units is full of challenge due to their congested chemical ***,we report a new gold(Ⅰ)self-relay catalysis merging[3,3]-sigmatropic rearrangement/Nazarov cyclization with al-lylic alkylation starting from 1,3-enyne acetates and allylic alcohols,producing a wide range of synthetically important allyl cyclo-pentenones with an all-carbon quaternary stereocenter in good yields under mild *** protocol demonstrates the precise control of regioselectivity,high functional group tolerance of substrates and the low loading of gold catalyst without inert atmos-phere protection,providing a catalytic and efficient entry to all-carbon quaternary stereocenters.

A new gold(I)self-relay catalysis consisting of a 3,3-rearrangement,Nazarov cyclization and Michael addition cascade of 1,3-enyne acetates with aurones and their derived azadienes is reported,and used to produce a series of densely functionalized cyclopentenones bearing a cyclic quaternary stereocenter in moderate to good yields under mild *** tandem protocol demonstrates high regioselectivity,broad substrate flexibility and good functional group tolerance of substrates without inert atmosphere protection,providing a catalytic and convergent approach for creating all-carbon stereoscopic centers.

A new organocatalytic double annulation cascade involving scission/recombination of N-O bonds of nitrones is reported for the first time, and used to produce a range of hitherto unprecedented tricyclic bridged-fused benzo[d]azepines bearing three stereogenic centers with moderate to good yields and complete diastereoselectivity. A quinine-catalyzed reaction of yne–allenone esters with nitrones worked well and provided a convergent and regioselective pathway to access these three-dimensional scaffolds from the planar conjugated system. Density functional theory(DFT) calculations have been applied to understand the key process for forming diradical intermediates.

The dynamics of hydrological processes and the storage mechanisms of karst water resources are the most important issues in karst *** impact of environmental changes on water quantity,and the evaluation and quantification of eco-hydrological processes remain poorly *** this study,high-frequency continuous monitoring in multi-scale karst watersheds in Southwest China combined the approaches of water isotopes and the hybrid single-particle lagrangian integrated trajectory(HYSPLIT)model to identify the recharge mechanisms between atmospheric vapor,rainfall,surface water,and groundwater,and to reveal the interaction of eco-hydrological *** dominant moisture sources in Puding(PD)County were the Indian Ocean(43-69%)and local moisture(24-33%).Theδ^(18)O and deuterium excess(d-excess)values showed a positive correlation indicating that secondary or sub-cloud evaporation was prominent in the wet *** water line-conditioned excess(lc-excess)indicated that karst water interacted with recent precipitation,groundwater,and evaporation across *** to its specific hydrogeological structure,surface water and rainwater have a higher contribution rate to groundwater *** Chenqi stream replenished the Houzhai River mainly in the form of groundwater,with percentages ranging from 38.1 to 93.5%in the wet season,and 47.8-80.1%in the dry *** the Houzhai outlet,surface water and groundwater interconverted frequently with a percentage of 45.6-49.1%.We believe this is the first systematic study to quantify the supply relationship between water vapor transport,rainfall,surface water and groundwater in the Chinese karst zone,making a significant move forward in the field of karst hydrological processes and improving the efficiency of water resource evaluation and management.

Background This retrospective study assessed the efficacy and safety of ketogenic diet therapies in children with epilepsy caused by SLC2A1 genetic mutations and glucose transporter type 1 deficiency *** Pediatric patients with epilepsy symptoms admitted to our medical center between January 2017 and October 2021 were included if they presented with an SLC2A1 genetic mutation on whole-exome *** analyzed the patients’convulsions and treatment with antiepileptic *** patients were followed up at different time periods after ketogenic diet *** Six patients with SLC2A1 mutations were included in this *** patients had seizures of different types and frequencies,and they took antiepileptic drugs to relieve their *** were then treated with a ketogenic diet for at least four *** analyzed epilepsy control rates at 1,2,3,6,and 12 months after ketogenic diet *** patients were seizure-free within a month of receiving the diet *** patients were followed up for six months,three were followed up for 12 months after the treatment,and there was no recurrence of epilepsy during this *** antiepileptic drug withdrawal,none of the patients experienced seizure relapse when receiving ketogenic diet treatment *** severe adverse events occurred during the *** Ketogenic diet therapy is very effective and safe for the treatment of epilepsy caused by SLC2A1 ***,patients with glucose transporter type 1 deficiency syndrome caused by SLC2A1 mutations should begin ketogenic diet treatment as soon as possible.
