The treatment of wheat straw is very difficult,and its utilization rate is very low;accumulation causes air pollution and even *** make full use of wheat straw resources,we examined how using different physical and chemical methods to treat the wheat straw which can improve its strength abilities,or enhance the activity of wheat straw *** terms of concrete additives,it can reduce the amount of cement *** this paper,we found that alkali treatment can significantly improve the tensile strength of wheat straw fiber,but polyvinyl alcohol treatment has no obvious effect on the strength of wheat straw fiber after alkali *** the same time,we analyzed the wheat straw fiber microstructure through scanning electron microscopy,and we also studied the wheat straw ash chemical composition after 600℃ high-temperature *** the compressive strength test,we found that the strength of concrete decreases with increasing of wheat straw fiber and wheat straw powder content,and the compressive strength of concrete with wheat straw ash instead of 5%cement decreases little,and the strength of the concrete also decreases with the increasing of wheat straw *** the macroscopic observation of the failure form of concrete,we found that the failure form of concrete with wheat straw ash is similar to that of common concrete,while the failure degree of concrete with wheat straw fiber and wheat straw powder is *** the scanning electron microscope test of the concrete,it was found that wheat straw fiber has an effect on the cracking of concrete and the inner compactness of concrete can also be affected by adding wheat straw ash and wheat straw powder.

Seaweed has emerged as one of the most promising resources due to its remarkable adaptability, short development period, and resource sustainability. It is an effective breakthrough to alleviate future resource crises. Algal resources have reached a high stage of growth in the past years due to the increased output and demand for seaweed worldwide. Several aspects global seaweed farming production and processing over the last 20 years are reviewed, such as the latest situation and approaches of seaweed farming. Research progress and production trend of various seaweed application are discussed. Besides, the challenges faced by seaweed farming and processing are also analyzed, and the related countermeasures are proposed, which can provide advice for seaweed farming and processing. The primary products, extraction and application, or waste utilization of seaweed would bring greater benefits with the continuous development and improvement of applications in various fields.

The extract from Semen Ziziphi Spinosae(SZS)contains many secondary metabolites(flavonoids,alkaloids,and terpenoids),widely reported for their high medicinal *** order to know the number and type of flavonoids and the regulating mechanism of flavonoid biosynthesis during the growth and development of SZS,we identified and analyzed the flavonoid metabolites and genes in SZS using metabolomic and transcriptomic.A total of 13,232 differentially expressed genes and 83 flavonoid metabolites were identified at three different growth and development stages(T1,T2,and T3)of *** main flavonoid metabolic components of SZS were catechin,L-epicatechin,(–)-epigallocatechin,(+)-gallocatechin,spinosin and its derivatives.A total of 53 unigenes encoding 15 enzymes were identified as candidate genes involved in flavonoid biosynthesis in ***,PAL,C4H,4CL,CHS,CHI,FLS,FNS,ANS,ANR,LAR,and UFGT genes were all downregulated in T3 than in *** expression levels of these genes influence the accumulation of flavonoids in *** results should provide valuable information for flavonoid metabolites and candidate genes involved in flavonoid biosynthesis on SZS .

在基质灭菌条件下接种丛枝菌根(AM)真菌能促进植物生长发育,但在未灭菌条件下接种AM真菌鲜有报道。因此,在温室盆栽条件下,以香橙砧木(Citrus Junossieb ex Tanaka)为材料,研究了不同处理基质(灭菌和未灭菌)及接种AM真菌对香橙砧木的根系菌根侵染率、株高、茎径、叶片数、生物量及根系性状的影响。探讨在模拟自然条件(基质未灭菌)下接种AM真菌其接种效应是否仍然有效。研究结果表明:在基质灭菌条件下,接种黄雷克囊霉(Redeckera fulvum)(R.f)处理的株高、叶片数、地上干重、生物量和根系性状显著优于未接种菌根处理,而接种凹坑无梗囊霉(Acaulospora excavata)(A.e)处理的株高、茎径、叶片数、生物量低于未接种处理,但无显著差异。而根系性状显著优于对照;在基质未灭菌条件下,除了接种R.f处理的总根长显著高于未接种处理外,其他指标均与未接种处理无显著差异。这表明在盆栽试验中基质灭菌条件下,接种R.f处理能提高香橙砧木生长,接种A.e处理能抑制其生长,但在基质未灭菌条件下,接种两种AM真菌的香橙砧木生长与对照无显著影响,没有表现出在基质灭菌条件下同等的接种效应。

Facile fabrication of Fe/Zr binary MOFs for arsenic removal in water:High capacity,fast kinetics and good reusability

A water-stable bimetallic Fe/Zrmetal-organic framework[UiO-66(Fe/Zr)]for exceptional decontamination of arsenic in water was fabricated through a facile one-step *** batch adsorption experiments revealed the excellent performances with ultrafast adsorption kinetics due to the synergistic effects of two functional centers and large surface area(498.33 m^(2)/g).The absorption capacity of UiO-66(Fe/Zr)for arsenate[As(V)]and arsenite[As(III)]reached as high as 204.1 mg/g and 101.7 mg/g,*** model was suitable to describe the adsorption behaviors of arsenic on UiO-66(Fe/Zr).The fast kinetics(adsorption equilibrium in 30min,10mg/L As)and pseudo-second-ordermodel implied the strong chemisorption between arsenic ions and UiO-66(Fe/Zr),which was further confirmed by DFT theoretical *** results of FT-IR,XPS analysis and TCLP test demonstrated that arsenic was immobilized on the surface of UiO-66(Fe/Zr)through Fe/Zr-O-As bonds,and the leaching rates of the adsorbed As(III)and As(V)from the spent adsorbent were only 5.6%and 1.4%,***-66(Fe/Zr)can be regenerated for five cycles without obvious removal efficiency *** original arsenic(1.0mg/L)in lake and tapwater was effectively removed in 2.0 hr[99.0%of As(III)and 99.8%of As(V)].The bimetallic UiO-66(Fe/Zr)has great potentials in water deep purification of arsenic with fast kinetics and high capacity.

BACKGROUND Cronkhite-Canada syndrome(CCS)is a rare nonhereditary disease with a syndrome of multiple gastrointestinal polyps,skin pigmentation,hair loss,and fingernail/toenail *** is a serious condition with an occurrence rate of 5%in adults,which is mainly caused by intestinal tumors or other intestinal *** SUMMARY A 57-year-old woman was admitted to our hospital due to abdominal distension and pain for the past *** nausea and vomiting symptoms had been aggravated for the past *** transoral enteroscopy results one year prior showed chronic erosive gastritis protuberans,duodenitis,and *** had sparse body hair and brown pigmentation on the skin of her hands and bilateral anterior *** nails of both hands were pale and lacked luster,and the fingernail of her ring finger was longitudinally *** showed extensive diffuse polypoid lump changes in the gastric body and antrum,of 0.5-3 cm in *** showed multiple polypoid mucosal bulges in the terminal ileum and multiple polyps(0.3-5 cm)throughout the *** patient was diagnosed with CCS and underwent partial excision of the polyps,but she refused hormone *** month later,the patient complained of nausea and vomiting,accompanied by abdominal pain and inability to pass gas or ***-enhanced computed tomography of the abdomen showed gastrointestinal polyposis and ileocecal *** underwent stomach and bowel *** CCS,as a rare disease with poor prognosis,should be treated *** steroids,immunosuppressive agents,and biological agents were not applied;thus,the patient’s symptoms quickly progressed,and intussusception *** had to undergo *** compliance may lead to a better prognosis.

Radiomics based on biparametric MRI for the detection of significant residual prostate cancer after androgen deprivation therapy:using whole-mount histopathology as reference standard

We aimed to study radiomics approach based on biparametric magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)for determining significant residual cancer after androgen deprivation therapy(ADT).Ninety-two post-ADT prostate cancer patients underwent MRI before prostatectomy(62 with significant residual disease and 30 with complete response or minimum residual disease[CR/MRD]).Totally,100 significant residual,52 CR/MRD lesions,and 70 benign tissues were selected according to ***,381 radiomics features were extracted from T2-weighted imaging,diffusion-weighted imaging,and apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC)*** features were selected using a support vector machine with a recursive feature elimination algorithm(SVM-RFE).Then,ADC values of significant residual,CR/MRD lesions,and benign tissues were compared by one-way analysis of *** regression was used to construct models with SVM features to differentiate between each pair of ***,the efficiencies of ADC value and radiomics models for differentiating the three tissues were assessed by area under receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC).The ADC value(mean±standard deviation[s.d.])of significant residual lesions([1.10±0.02]×10^(-3)mm^(2)s^(−1))was significantly lower than that of CR/MRD([1.17±0.02]×10^(-3)mm^(2)s^(−1)),which was significantly lower than that of benign tissues([1.30±0.02]×10^(-3)mm^(2)s^(−1);both P0.05),but superior to ADC value in differentiating significant residual from CR/MRD(AUC:0.748 vs 0.558;P=0.041).Radiomics approach with biparametric MRI could promote the detection of significant residual prostate cancer after ADT.

Underwater Wet Welding for HSLA Steels: Chemical Composition, Defects, Microstructures, and Mechanical Properties

The effect of water depth on underwater wet welds was investigated by underwater wet shielded metal-arc welding technique. The microstructures, chemical composition, welding defects, and mechanical properties were studied. The contents of alloying elements decrease, while the oxygen content increases with water depth. Within 55 m depth, the carbon monoxide reaction is controlling the oxygen content which will further control the contents of alloying elements. The columnar microstructures in weld metal obtained at shallow water consist of grain boundary ferrite, side-plate ferrite, and acicular ferrite, while those at depth greater than 11 m exhibit more proeutectoid ferrite due to the loss of alloying elements. Mechanical properties are a strong function of depth owing to the increase in oxidation of alloying elements and porosity. Welds obtained within 11 m show preferable strength, ductility, and toughness. The mechanical properties significantly drop from 11 to 25 m because of the increased porosity and oxidation of alloying elements.
