Network Pharmacology Study of Yuebi Plus Banxia Decoction in Treating Asthma

Objective:The objective of the study was to study the potential biological mechanism of Yuebi plus Banxia Decoction(YBD)in the treatment of asthma based on network *** and Methods:Literature databases were used to collect information on the chemical components and pharmacokinetics of YBD as comprehensively as *** to pharmacokinetic information and effective ingredient screening criteria,effective chemical components of YBD were screened,and the target genes corresponding to the effective components were collected by the ligand prediction *** the same time,literature databases including five disease target gene databases were used to collect asthma disease target ***,the effective component target network of YBD and the asthma disease target network can be constructed using Cytoscape 3.2.1 *** core targets of YBD for the treatment of asthma were screened according to topological analysis based on degree *** the analysis of Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)signal pathway,the main mechanisms of YBD in treating asthma were found ***:A161 active ingredients of YBD and 136 core targets for the treatment of asthma were screened *** effective signaling pathways of YBD in the treatment of asthma were mainly focused on ErbB,MAPK,Estrogen,PI3 K-Akt,Neurotrophin,Hippo,HIF-1,TGF-,FoxO,Wnt,Chemoking,Toll-like receptor,vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),GnRH,and ***:YBD has the characteristics of multiple targets and multiple pathways in the treatment of *** main biological mechanism is related to ErbB,MAPK,Estrogen,PI3 K-Akt,neurotrophin,Hippo,HIF-1,TGF-,FoxO,Wnt,Chemoking,Toll-like receptor,VEGF,GnRH,and Notch.

Endoscopic findings and pathologic characteristics of gastric eosinophilic granuloma:A report of 18 patients

AIM: To investigate the endoscopic findings and patholo- gic characteristics of gastric eosinophilic granuloma (GEG). METHODS: A retrospective study of 18 cases of gastric eosinophilic granulomas was conducted. Gastroscopy was performed and all specimens of biopsies were stained by H&E and observed under light microscopy. RESULTS: Ulcer was the most frequent endoscopic appearance. The others included deformed pylorus and/or duodenal bulb, esophagitis, mucous hyperemia and/or mucosal erosion. Eosinophilic cell infiltration and generous hyperplasia of arterioles, venules and lymph vessels were found in the lesions of the patients. Interstitium had massive eosinophilic infiltrates and was made up of collagen fibers and fibroblasts. Lymphoid follicles were revealed in some sections of biopsies. CONCLUSION: GEG is lack of specific symptoms and physical signs. It can be misdiagnosed as gastric ulcer in most cases before biopsies. Endoscopy and endoscopic multiple deep biopsies in suspected areas are indispensable for correct diagnosis of GEG.

Background:Component compatibility is important to the modernization of traditional Chinese *** have shown that San-ao decoction(SAD)can treat respiratory diseases by relaxing airway smooth muscle(ASM)and reducing airway ***,whether its bioactive components and compatibility also present with similar relaxant effects remains *** study aims to explore the potential relaxant property,dose-response relationship,and underlying mechanisms of the bioactive component compatibility in ***:Network pharmacology was primarily used to identify the bioactive components of SAD and uncover its underlying *** tension force measuring technique was utilized to verify the relaxant and dose-response effects on in vitro guinea pig ***:We postulated pseudoephedrine hydrochloride(PH),amygdalin(AM),and diammonium glycyrrhizate(DG)to be the bioactive components of SAD,which could effectively relax ASM in a dose-dependent manner on both acetylcholine-induced and spontaneous *** PH and AM could lead to DG dose–response curve *** regression equation of these three bioactive components was Y=-2.048×X_(1)+0.411×X_(2)+14.052×X_(3)(X_(1),X_(2),X_(3)representing PH,AM,and DG,respectively).The underlying mechanisms of these components might be associated with the regulation of smooth muscle ***:PH,AM,and DG are the bioactive components of SAD,which can relax ASM in a dose–response manner and exert a synergistic ***,compatibility of these three bioactive components may serve as a new complementary and alternative treatment for respiratory diseases.

An efficient quantum proactive incremental learning algorithm

In scenarios where a large amount of data needs to be learned, incremental learning can make full use of old knowledge, significantly reduce the computational cost of the overall learning process, and maintain high performance. In this paper, taking the MaxCut problem as our example, we introduce the idea of incremental learning into quantum computing, and propose a Quantum Proactive Incremental Learning algorithm(QPIL). Instead of a one-off training of quantum circuit, QPIL contains a multi-phase training on gradually-increased subgraphs of all vertices, proactively reducing large-scale problems to smaller ones to solve in steps, providing an efficient solution for MaxCut. Specifically, some vertices and corresponding edges are randomly selected for training to obtain optimized parameters of the quantum circuit at first. Then, in each incremental phase, the remaining vertices and corresponding edges are gradually added and the parameters obtained from the previous phase are reused in the parameter initialization of the current phase. We perform experiments on 120 different small-scale graphs, and it shows that QPIL performs superior to prevalent quantum and classical baselines in terms of approximation ratio(AR), time cost, anti-forgetting, and solving stability. In particular, QPIL's AR surpasses 20% of mainstream quantum baselines, and the time cost is less than 1/5 of them. The idea of QPIL is expected to inspire efficient and high-quality solutions in large-scale Max Cut and other combinatorial optimization problems.

Metal-organic frameworks with dinuclear metal centers for synergistically boosting CO2 photoreduction

Dinuclear metal synergistic catalysis （DMSC） has been proved powerful in boosting CO2reduction,while this has not been achieved in heterogeneous catalysts with long-range order *** this study,we,by introduction of metal catalytic centers into an indium-based metal-organic framework （MOF）,obtained a series of isostructural In-MOFs,including three MOFs with mononuclear metal catalytic center （M-In）,three MOFs with dinuclear homometallic catalytic centers （MM-In）,and three MOFs with dinuclear heterometallic catalytic centers (MM’-In,M/M’=Co（II）,Ni（II）,Zn（II）).It was found that all these MOFs can serve as catalysts for photochemical CO2reduction to *** with M-In,the catalytic activities of MM-In were obviously enhanced,and that of MM’-In was further significantly *** example,the CO yield of Co Zn-In reaches a record value of 12,700μmol g-1h-1,which is 4.0,8.1,9.4,and 18.6-fold higher than that of Co Co-In,Zn Zn-In,Co-In,and Zn-In,***,the catalytic activities of Co Ni-In and Ni Zn-In also show different fold increase than those of corresponding dinuclear homometallic and mononuclear metallic *** results of control experiments and theoretical calculation reveal that the higher catalytic activities of MM-In over M-In can be ascribed to the DMSC effect,and the higher catalytic activity of MM’-In over MM-In can be ascribed to the strengthened DMSC *** work reveals the relationship between DMSC effect and bimetal centers in CO2reduction,which provides new insights into the DMSC and paves a new way to design highly active catalysts for photochemical CO2reduction.

BACKGROUND The prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)combined with portal and hepatic vein cancerous thrombosis is poor,for unresectable patients the combination of targeted therapy and immune therapy was the first-line recommended treatment for advanced HCC,with a median survival time of only about 2.7-6 *** this case report,we present the case of a patient with portal and hepatic vein cancerous thrombosis who achieved pathologic complete response after conversion *** SUMMARY In our center,a patient with giant HCC combined with portal vein tumor thrombus and hepatic vein tumor thrombus was treated with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE),radiotherapy,targeted therapy and immunotherapy,and was continuously given icaritin soft capsules for oral *** 7 months of conversion therapy,the patient's tumor shrank and the tumor thrombus subsided *** pathology of surgical resection was in complete remission,and there was no progression in the postoperative follow-up for 7 months,which provided a basis for the future strategy of combined conversion *** In this case,atezolizumab,bevacizumab,icaritin soft capsules combined with radiotherapy and TACE had a good *** patients with hepatocellular carcinoma combined with hepatic vein/inferior vena cava tumor thrombus,adopting a high-intensity,multimodal proactive strategy under the guidance of multidisciplinary team(MDT)is an important attempt to break through the current treatment dilemma.

Ovarian endometrioma（OE）, also known as “chocolate cysts,” is a cystic mass that develops in the ovaries due to endometriosis and is a common gynecological condition characterized by the growth of endometrial tissue outside the uterus, leading to symptoms such as dysmenorrhea, pelvic pain, and infertility. However, the precise molecular and cellular mechanisms driving this pathophysiology remain largely unknown, posing challenges for diagnosis and treatment. Here, we employed integrated single-cell transcriptomic profiling of over 52,000 individual cells from endometrial tissues of OE patients and healthy donors and identified twelve major cell populations. We identified notable alterations in cell type-specific proportions and molecular signatures associated with OE. Notably, the activation of IGFBP5+macrophages with pro-inflammatory properties, NK cell exhaustion, and aberrant proliferation of IQCG+and KLF2+epithelium are key features and may be the potential mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of OE. Collectively, our data contribute to a better understanding of OE at the single cell level and may pave the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies.
