BACKGROUND This study presents a case of rapidly developing respiratory failure due to antisynthetase syndrome(AS)following coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)in a 33-year-old man diagnosed with Klinefelter syndrome(KS).CASE SUMMARY A 33-year-old man with a diagnosis of KS was admitted to the Department of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine of a tertiary hospital in China for fever and shortness of breath 2 wk after the onset of *** tomography of both lungs revealed diffuse multiple patchy heightened shadows in both lungs,accompanied by signs of partial bronchial *** next-generation sequencing of the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid suggested absence of pathogen.A biopsy specimen revealed organizing pneumonia with alveolar septal ***,extensive auto-antibody tests showed strong positivity for anti-SSA,anti-SSB,anti-Jo-1,and *** multidisciplinary discussions,the patient received a final diagnosis of AS,leading to rapidly progressing respiratory *** This study underscores the clinical progression of AS-associated interstitial lung disease subsequent to viral infections such as COVID-19 in patients diagnosed with KS.

Ynones are important skeletons in bioactive molecules and valuable building blocks for organic synthesis,thus great efforts have been devoted to their ***,introducing prochiral substrates to construct ynones bearing a chiral framework is unrealized to ***,we reported the first example of Pd/SOP-catalyzed asymmetric carbonylative alkynylation via a non-classical carbonylative Sonogashiratype approach(acyl-Pd(Ⅱ)species generated from nucleophiles).By using cyclic diaryliodonium salts as prochiral substrates,various axial chiral ynones with good functional group tolerance(39 examples),satisfied yields(71%-96%)and excellent enantioselectivities(generally 94%-99%ee)were *** of bioactive compounds,scale-up experiment and useful transformations were also conducted to demonstrate the utility of this process.

Use of traditional mineral oil(MO)as a liquid insulation in transformers has spanned more than 130 ***,MO has poor heat resistance,a low ignition point,and is a non-renewable resource,which does not meet development requirements for high-performance and environmentally friendly insulation ***,researchers have explored alternatives such as natural ester(NE)and synthetic ester(SE)oils,as well as mixed insulation *** insulating oil is a blend of diverse insulating oil types,with optimal performance achieved by adjusting proportions of base *** article summarizes the innovative achievements and development of mixed insulation oil in terms of development of mixed ratio,basic physical chemical properties,electrical properties,thermal stability,and application including operation and maintenance *** these efforts,this article aims to provide recommendations for future development of mixed insulating oils to advance liquid dielectric research based on enhancement mechanisms.

Electrocatalysis provides an optimal approach for the conversion of carbon dioxide(CO2) into high-value chemicals, thereby presenting a promising avenue toward achieve carbon neutrality. However, addressing the selectivity and stability challenges of metal catalysts in electrolytic reduction remains a daunting task. In this study, the electrospinning method is employed to fabricate porous carbon nanofibers loaded with bismuth nanoparticles with the help of in situ pyrolysis. The porous carbon nanofibers as conductive support would facilitate the dispersion of bismuth active sites while inhibiting their aggregation and promoting the mass transfer, thus enhancing their electrocatalytic activity and stability. Additionally, nitrogen doping induces electron delocalization in bismuth atoms through metal-support interactions, thus enabling efficient adsorption of intermediates for improving selectivity based on the theoretical calculation. Consequently, Bi@PCNF-500 exhibits the exceptional selectivity and stability across a wide range of potential windows. Notably, its faradaic efficiency(FE) of formate reaches 92.7% in H-cell and94.9% in flow cell, respectively, with good electrocatalytic stability. The in situ characterization and theoretical calculations elucidate the plausible reaction mechanism to obtain basic rules for designing efficient electrocatalyst.

Opportunity to harmonize aspects of oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)performance and structure,and morphology,as well as composition,is urgent for the commercialization of proton exchange membrane fuel ***,we demonstrate the design and synthesis of a functionalized-supported-Pt catalyst(Pt@HNC)featuring a hollow nitrogen-modified dodecahedral carbon substrate obtained by a stress-induced-shrink tailoring *** as-obtained Pt@HNC catalyst possesses enhanced ORR per-formance,in particular with half-wave potential,mass activity(MA)and specific activity,which greatly exceed the commercial Pt/*** density functional theory(DFT)calculations further confirmed that the charge redistribution induced by the electronegativity differences improved the electron interaction between Pt and HNC *** optimized electronic structure of Pt weakens the reaction energy barrier on the Pt@HNC surface and adsorption of^(*)OH species,thus cooperatively improving the intrinsic activity toward ***,our work indeed provides a guide for the future design of functional nanomaterials in the field of catalysts and clean energy.

Creep constitutive model considering nonlinear creep degradation of fractured rock

Stability analysis of underground constructions requires a model study of rock masses’ long-term performance. Creep tests under different stress conditions was conducted on intact granite and granite samples fractured at 30° and 45° angles. The experimental results indicate that the steady creep strain rates of intact and fractured rock present an exponential increase trend with the increase of stress level. A nonlinear creep model is developed based on the experimental results, in which the initial damage caused by fracture together with the damage caused by constant load have been taken into consideration. The fitting analysis results indicated that the model proposed is more accurate at identifying the full creep regions in fractured granite, especially the accelerated stage of creep deformation. The least-square fit error of the proposed creep model is significantly lower than that of Nishihara model by almost an order of magnitude. An analysis of the effects of elastic modulus, viscosity coefficient, and damage factors on fractured rock strain rate and creep strain is conducted. If no consideration is given to the effects of the damage, the proposed nonlinear creep model can degenerate into to the classical Nishihara model.

Counterfactual explanations provide explanations by exploring the changes in effect caused by changes in cause. They have attracted significant attention in recommender system research to explore the impact of changes in certain properties on the recommendation mechanism. Among several counterfactual recommendation methods, item-based counterfactual explanation methods have attracted considerable attention because of their flexibility. The core idea of item-based counterfactual explanation methods is to find a minimal subset of interacted items(i.e., short length) such that the recommended item would topple out of the top-K recommendation list once these items have been removed from user interactions(i.e., good quality). Usually, explanations are generated by ranking the precomputed importance of items, which fails to characterize the true importance of interacted items due to separation from the explanation generation. Additionally, the final explanations are generated according to a certain search strategy given the precomputed importance. This indicates that the quality and length of counterfactual explanations are deterministic;therefore, they cannot be balanced once the search strategy is fixed. To overcome these obstacles, this study proposes learning-based counterfactual explanations for recommendation(LCER) to provide counterfactual explanations based on personalized recommendations by jointly modeling the factual and counterfactual preference. To achieve consistency between the computation of importance and generation of counterfactual explanations, the proposed LCER endows an optimizable importance for each interacted item, which is supervised by the goal of counterfactual explanations to guarantee its credibility. Because of the model's flexibility, the trade-off between quality and length can be customized by setting different proportions. On account of the complicated magnetic exchange interactions between lanthanide ions,binuclear lanthanide complexes have broad application prospect in the field of single-molecule ***,it is necessary to develop reasonable bridging ligands to manipulate the directional assembly of binuclear lanthanide ***,we selected the macrocyclic ligand L^(N_(8)O_(2))to build up two new dilanthanide complexes[Ln_(2)(LN_(8)O_(2))(OpyO)_(2)(H_(2)O)2](NO_(3))_(2)(1-Ln,Ln=Dy,Tb;LN_(8)O_(2)=hexamethyl-tetraaza-dioxe-dipyrazolacycloicosaphane-2,9,12,19-tetraene;OpyOH=2-pyridinol-1-oxide).Dynamic magnetic studies show that 1-Dy exhibits slow relaxation behavior under a 1 kOe applied *** fitting analysis of relaxation times gives the effective energy barrier of 38.2 cm^(−1),and reveals that the slow magnetic relaxation behavior is dominated by the Orbach and Raman ***-resolution luminescence emission spectrum indicates the energy gap of 36.8 cm^(−1)between the ground state and the first excited state,consistent with the magnetic measurement results.1-Tb exhibits brilliant characteristic green light emission under UV light *** absolute quantum yield of 1-Tb is 44.8%,and its first-order fitted decay lifetime is 779.21μs at room *** study provides the way for directional construction of high-performance molecular materials with magnetic and optical dual-function.
