We report geochemical data for carbonate rocks from the Cambrian Zhangxia Formation,southern North China Block,including trace-element contents and C,O,and Sr isotopic compositions,to determine the controls on the development of microbialites in this *** sedimentary environment of the Zhangxia Formation evolved from carbonate-slope through platform-margin-reef to ooid-shoal,and then to open-platform settings,corresponding to the development of micrites,microbialites,and oolitic *** data show that δ13C values decrease upwards through the Zhangxia Formation,from 0.99‰to-1.59‰,whereas δ18O values increase from-9.91‰to-7.10‰.Total rare earth element （REE）contents decrease upwards through the stratigraphy,and the contents of Th and Sc show a similar trend.87Sr/86Sr ratios reach a maximum of 0.710544 in the horizons of microbialite development,Member 2 of the Zhangxia Formation,above which the ratios are uniform,with a mean value of *** these geochemical data with the inferred sedimentary evolution,the Zhangxia Formation is interpreted to have formed in a depositional environment that changed from transgression to *** weathering played a crucial role in promoting the input of terrigenous materials,which in turn favored the development of microbialites during the early stage of deposition of the Zhangxia Formation.

Distribution of Major Pathogens from Sputum and Bronchoalveolar Lavage Fluid in Patients with Noncystic Fibrosis Bronchiectasis： A Systematic Review

Objective： Noncystic fibrosis （non-CF） bronchiectasis remains as a common health problem in Asia. Pathogens＇ distribution in airways of patients with non-CF bronchiectasis is important for doctors to make right decision. Data Sources： We performed this systematic review on the English language literatures from 1966 to July 2014, using various search terms included ＂pathogens＂ or ＂bacteria＂ or ＂microbiology＂ and ＂bronchiectasis＂ or ＂non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis＂ or ＂non-CF bronchiectasis＂ or ＂NCFB.＂ Study Selection： We included studies of patients with the confirmed non-CF bronchiectasis for which culture methods were required to sputum or bronchoalveolar lavage fluid （BALF）. Weighted mean isolation rates for Haemophilus influenzae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Stapylococcus aureus, Moxarella catarrhails were compared according to different methodology. Results： The total mean bacterial culture positive rates were 63%. For studies using sputum samples, the mean positive culture rates were 74%. For studies using BALF alone or BALF and sputum, it was 48%. The distributions of main bacterial strains were 29% for 1-1. influenzae, 28% for P. aeruginosa, 11% for S. pneumoniae, 12% for S. aureus, and 8% for M. catarrhails with methodology of sputum. Meanwhile, the bacterial distributions were 37% for H. influenzae, 8% for P aeruginosa, 14% for S. pneumoniae, 5% for S. attretts, and 10% for M. catarrhails with methodology of BALF alone or BALF and sputum. Analysis of the effect of different methodology on the isolation rates revealed some statistically significant differences. Conclusions： H. influenzae accounted for the highest percentage in different methodology. Our results suggested that the total positive culture rates and the proportion of P. aeruginosa from sputum and BALF specimens had significant differences, which can be used in further appropriate recommendations for the treatment of non-CF bronchiectasis.

Let q∈(0,∞]andϕbe a Musielak-Orlicz function with uniformly lower type p_(ϕ)^(−)∈(0,∞)and uniformly upper type p_(ϕ)^(−)∈(0,∞).In this article,the authors establish various realvariable characterizations of the Musielak-Orlicz-Lorentz Hardy space H^(ϕ,q)(R^(n)),respectively,in terms of various maximal functions,finite atoms,and various Little wood-Paley *** applications,the authors obtain the dual space of Hϕ,q(Rn)and the summability of Fourier transforms from Hϕ,q(Rn)to the Musielak-Orlicz-Lorentz space L^(ϕ,q)(R^(n))when q∈(0,∞)or from the Musielak-Orlicz Hardy space Hϕ(Rn)to Lϕ,∞(Rn)in the critical *** results are new when q∈(0,∞)and also essentially improve the existing corresponding results(if any)in the case q=∞via removing the original assumption thatϕis *** overcome the essential obstacles caused by both thatϕmay not be concave and that the boundedness of the powered Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator on associated spaces of Musielak-Orlicz spaces is still unknown,the authors make full use of the obtained atomic characterization of H^(ϕ,q)(R^(n)),the corresponding results related to weighted Lebesgue spaces,and the subtle relation between Musielak-Orlicz spaces and weighted Lebesgue spaces.

Neutron-induced gamma-ray imaging is a spectroscopic technique that uses characteristic gamma rays to infer the elemental distribution of an ***,this technique requires the use of large facilities to supply a high neutron flux and a time-consuming detection procedure involving direct collimating *** this study,a new method based on low neutron flux was proposed.A single-pixel gamma-ray detector combined with random pattern gamma-ray masks was used to measure the characteristic gamma rays emitted from the *** of the elemental distribution in the sample,comprising 30×30 pixels,were reconstructed using the maximum-likelihood expectation-maximization *** results demonstrate that the elemental imaging of the sample can be accurately determined using this *** proposed approach,which eliminates the need for high neutron flux and scanning measurements,can be used for in-field imaging applications.

Human herpesviruses(HHV),including the alpha,beta,andgamma subfamilies,are enveloped viruses with broad prevalence,establishing life-time latent infections and inducing a variety of diseases[1].Among them,herpes simplex virus(HSV),consists of two HSV-1 and HSV-2 variants,ubiquitouslyaffecting global populations[2].As an enveloped virus,HSV features a repertoire of glycoproteins such as glycoproteins D(gD),glycoproteins H(gH),glycoproteins L(gL),and glycoproteins B(gB),to orchestrate host cell recognition and infection[3,4].

Extracorporeal liver surgery(ELS), also known as liver autotransplantation, is a hybrid(cross-fertilized) surgery incorporating the technical knowledge from extreme liver and transplant liver surgeries, and recently became more embraced and popularized among leading centers. ELS could be summarized into three major categories, namely, ex-situ liver resection and autotransplantation(ELRA), ante-situm liver resection and autotransplantation(ALRA) and auxiliary partial liver autotransplantation(APLA). The successful development of ELS during the past 37 years is definitely inseparable from continuous effort s done by Chinese surgeons and researchers. Especially, the precision liver surgery paradigm has allowed to transform ELS into a modularized, more simplified, and standardized surgery, to upgrade surgical skills, to improve peri-operative outcome and long-term survival, to increase the capability of surgeons to select more complex diseases and to expand the level of medical service to the population. This review highlights the Chinese contributions to the field of ELS, focusing thereby on features of different surgical types, technical innovations, disease selection and surgical indication, patient prognosis and future perspectives.

High-energy-density（HED） fuel（*** used JP-10 and RJ-4）,featuring compact 3D polycyclic structure with high strain,is of critical importance for volume-limited military aircraft,since their high density and combustion heat can provide more propulsion *** reduce the reliance on petroleum source,it is highly desirable to develop renewable alternatives for the production of strained polycyclic HED fuel,but which remains a big challenge because of the inaccessibility caused by the high strain,We herein demonstrate a three-step catalytic route towards highly strained C17and C18spirofuel with biomass *** process includes catalytic aldol condensation of renewable cyclohexanone/cyclopentanone with benzaldehyde,catalytic spiro Diels-Alder（D-A） reaction of aldol adduct with isoprene,and catalytic *** key spiro D-A reaction is enabled by the catalysis of heterogeneous Lewis acidic ionic *** chloroaluminate IL,formed by benign urea and AICl3,exhibits good catalytic performance and reusability for this *** eventual hydrodeoxygenation（HDO）over Pd/C and H-Y produces strained tricyclic spirofuel with density>0.93 g/mL,combustion heat>41 MJ/L and freezing point <-40℃,which are better than the properties of tactical fuel ***,it is anticipated that the as-prepared renewable fuels have the potential to replace traditional petroleum-derived HED fuels.

In this study,to better decide the effect of coal seam dip angle upon the dynamic change of the crossfusion in gas transport and storage areas during the progress of working face in the high gas thick coal seam,a two-dimensional physical simulation experiment regarded as the theoretical research was conducted to properly explore the variation law of overburden *** results demonstrated that the boundary of the gas transport zone was located in the region of fracture *** boundary of the gas storage area was located in the abrupt penetration ***,according to the information theory,the state of the gas transport and storage areas was determined by the changing trend of the fracture rate and fracture *** mathematical representation model of the dip effect in gas transport and storage areas was *** criteria upon which the regional location of the gas transport area and gas storage area can be based were put *** cross-fusion evolution process of the dip effect in gas transport and storage areas was revealed as *** research results could provide guidance for realising directional and accurate gas extraction.

Cardiac rehabilitation,a comprehensive exercise-based lifestyle and medical management,is effective in decreasing morbidity and improving life quality in patients with coronary heart *** function,an irreplaceable indicator in coronary heart disease progression,is measured by various methods in traditional cardiac rehabilitation pathways,including medicinal treatment,aerobic training,and smoking ***,studies on the effect of some emerging cardiac rehabilitation programs on endothelial function are *** article briefly reviewed the endothelium-beneficial effects of different cardiac rehabilitation pathways,including exercise training,lifestyle modification and psychological intervention in patients with coronary heart disease,and related experimental models,and summarized both uncovered and potential cellular and molecular mechanisms of the beneficial roles of various cardiac rehabilitation pathways on endothelial *** exercise training and some lifestyle interventions,the enhanced bioavailability of nitric oxide,increased circulating endothelial progenitor cells(EPCs),and decreased oxidative stress are major contributors to preventing endothelial dysfunction in coronary heart ***,the preservation of endothelial-dependent hyperpolarizing factors and inflammatory suppression play *** the one hand,to develop more endothelium-protective rehabilitation methods in coronary heart disease,adequately designed and sized randomized multicenter clinical trials should be advanced using standardized cardiac rehabilitation programs and existing assessment *** the other hand,additional studies using suitable experimental models are warranted to elucidate the relationship between some new interventions and endothelial protection in both macro-and microvasculature.
