The rapid development of emerging technologies,such as edge intelligence and digital twins,have added momentum towards the development of the Industrial Internet of Things(IIo T).However,the massive amount of data generated by the IIo T,coupled with heterogeneous computation capacity across IIo T devices,and users’data privacy concerns,have posed challenges towards achieving industrial edge intelligence(IEI).To achieve IEI,in this paper,we propose a semi-federated learning framework where a portion of the data with higher privacy is kept locally and a portion of the less private data can be potentially uploaded to the edge *** addition,we leverage digital twins to overcome the problem of computation capacity heterogeneity of IIo T devices through the mapping of physical *** formulate a synchronization latency minimization problem which jointly optimizes edge association and the proportion of uploaded nonprivate *** the joint problem is NP-hard and combinatorial and taking into account the reality of largescale device training,we develop a multi-agent hybrid action deep reinforcement learning(DRL)algorithm to find the optimal *** results show that our proposed DRL algorithm can reduce latency and have a better convergence performance for semi-federated learning compared to benchmark algorithms.

Vertical drains are used to accelerate consolidation of clays in ground improvement *** zones exist around these drains,where permeability is reduced due to soil disturbance caused by the installation *** solution is widely used in practice to consider the effects of drain discharge capacity and smear on the consolidation *** this study,a computationally efficient diameter reduction method(DRM)obtained from the Hansbo solution is proposed to consider the smear effect without the need to model the smear zone *** by analytical and numerical results,a diameter reduction factor is analytically derived to reduce the diameter of the drain,while achieving similar solutions of pore pressure dissipation profile as the classical full model of the smear zone and *** the DRM,the excess pore pressure u obtained from the reduced drain in the original un-disturbed soil zone is accurate enough for practical applications in numerical *** performance of DRM is independent of soil material *** also show equally accurate performance of DRM under conditions of multi-layered soils and coupled radial-vertical groundwater flow.

Objective:To investigate the interrelationship between cardiovascular health awareness,risk perception,behavioural intention,and INTERHEART risk stratification in a middle-aged adult population in ***:A cross-sectional survey with convenience sampling was conducted during November 2022 and January *** completed validated questionnaires assessing cardiovascular health awareness,risk perception of cardiovascular diseases,behavioural intention towards adopting healthy habits,and INTERHEART risk stratification score(IHRS)based on established risk factors.A total of 602 respondents were included in the final *** were analysed with independent t-test/one-way ANOVA or Mann-Whitney/Kruskal-Wallis to test the differences,Pearson correlation or linear regression test to analyze the association of independent and dependent ***:There was a significant positive correlation between medical knowledge related to cardiovascular disease(CVD)and knowledge related to CVD risk prevention,risk perception,behavioural intention and IHRS(P<0.05,Pearson correlation).Notably,individuals with higher IHRS tended to have lower knowledge related to CVD and CVD risk prevention,risk perception,and behavioural ***,laborers,active/former smokers,individuals with lower household income and educational levels,those involved in occupations not related to the healthcare sector,and those who did not receive the CVD health brochure or are unaware of health self-assessment tools are likely to have lower levels of knowledge,risk perception,and poorer behavioural intention regarding cardiovascular health(P<0.05,one-way ANOVA).While educational level,smoking status,awareness about CVD poster,self-assessment tools were repeatedly significantly associated with knowledge related to CVD and CVD risk prevention,risk perception,behavioral intention and/or IHRS(P<0.05,linear regression).Conclusions:These findings underscore the importance of promoting car

Antibody diversification is essential for an effective immune response, with somatic hypermutation(SHM) serving as a key molecular process in this adaptation. Activation-induced cytidine deaminase(AID) initiates SHM by inducing DNA lesions, which are ultimately resolved into point mutations, as well as small insertions and deletions(indels). These mutational outcomes contribute to antibody affinity *** mechanisms responsible for generating point mutations and indels involve the base excision repair(BER) and mismatch repair(MMR)pathways, which are well coordinated to maintain genomic integrity while allowing for beneficial mutations to occur. In this regard,translesion synthesis(TLS) polymerases contribute to the diversity of mutational outcomes in antibody genes by enabling the bypass of DNA lesions. This review summarizes our current understanding of the distinct molecular mechanisms that generate point mutations and indels during SHM. Understanding these mechanisms is critical for elucidating the development of broadly neutralizing antibodies(bnAbs) and autoantibodies, and has implications for vaccine design and therapeutics.

Muscle Strength, Lumbar Curve, Fear of Movement and Functional Disability among Patients with Lumbar Disc Herniation: A Review

Introduction: Lumbar disc herniation (LDH) refers to the rupture of the fibrous annulus of the intervertebral discs. Lumbar curvature may lead to the occurrence of lumbar disc degeneration. Fear of movement may worsen their disc herniation and cause further pain and injury. LDH conditions impact the individuals’ quality of life, to explore the relationship between lumbar curve, muscle strength, fear of movement and functional disability among patients with LDH. Methods: An electronic search was conducted on PubMed, Medline, Science Direct, Springerlink, Google Scholar and a hand search from reference lists was reviewed. Publications were included in human studies, patients 25 - 85 years of age, original studies and published in English language journals from January 2002 to December 2023. Result: In total, 64 articles were researched through the online search engines, and 9 papers were found through manual searches of reference lists. As a result, a total of 11 articles were included for the purpose of this review. The comprehensive analysis revealed the presence of eight cross-sectional studies, two retrospective studies and one experimental study. A minimum of 25 participants and a maximum of 360 participants were included. Ten studies included both genders, only one studies included healthy adults and patients with LDH but these studies didn’t mention gender. Results showed that the factors influencing LDH can be categorized into non-modifiable factors, such as gender, age, height or others. Modifiable factors included increased BMI, DM, smoking, alcohol, employment status, lifestyle and health problems or psychology. Conclusion: Females with greater VASC may be at risk of LDH. The lumbar extensor muscles indicated a localized disc herniation or nerve root pathology in patients with LDH. The fear of movement may lead to psychological consequences and reduce functional disability among patients with LDH.

Objectives:Rice has been identified as a high glycemic index(GI)food associated with obesity and *** study investigated the replacement of rice flour and its effect on product properties using extrusion *** and Methods:High selenium yam and konjac flours were used to increase fibre and selenium contents,whereas sorghum and soy protein were added to improve protein content as well as textural properties of *** following variables were optimized:yam flour(20%to 60%),feed moisture content(25%to 35%),and extrusion temperature(100°C to 120°C)by evaluating the breaking strength,firmness,colour,bulk density,and water absorption index(WAI)of the extruded ***:Results show that the extrusion temperature has a significant relationship with the products’breaking strength,WAI,and bulk density,whereas the feed moisture content influenced the WAI,bulk density,and firmness(P<0.05).The inclusion of yam flour significantly increased the firmness and yellowness(b*value)of the products(P<0.05).Sensory profiling revealed that the enriched product has comparable textural properties(stickiness,firmness,and graininess)with the commercial *** with commercial rice,the enriched product has significantly higher antioxidant activity(163.53 vs.10.33μmol Trolox/100 g,DPPH assay),protein(13.4%vs.9.4%),fibre(12%resistant starch,9%glucomannan),and a lower GI value(69.6 vs.95.4).The enriched product also contains 15.62μg/100 g selenium,providing additional health benefit as Se-enriched functional ***:This work has demonstrated the suitability of applying extrusion to produce a healthier alternative rice product by nutrient enrichment via rice flour substitution.

校园安全与学生校内违纪问题近年来关注热度逐渐上升,随着数智时代的到来,应对和防范学生违纪问题的措施越来越多,当前广泛使用的视频监控和校园一卡通等相关技术有一定的局限性,无法有效地防范违纪问题的发生,因此,通过三种场景将物联网与可安装在校园内的传感器连接起来,及时收集和处理数据,实现低能耗、广覆盖、低成本的数据处理并将数据上传到云端,通过MapReduce在云端进行数据处理,根据不同的违纪行为产生预警,使大数据技术与校园霸凌、旷课、吸烟等违纪识别相结合,为学校工作人员监控学生记录和安全问题提供有价值的信息。
