The Li-Mg-B-H composite(2LiBH_(4)+MgH_(2))has a high capacity of 11.4 wt%as a hydrogen storage ***,the slow kinetics and poor cycling stability severely restrict its practical *** this work,a layered Nb_(2)C MXene was first synthesized and then introduced to tailor the kinetics and cycling stability of the Li-Mg-B-H *** milled 2LiH+MgB_(2)composites were initially hydrogenated to obtain the 2LiBH_(4)+MgH_(2)*** 2LiBH_(4)+MgH_(2)+5wt%Nb_(2)C can release 9.0 wt%H_(2)in 30 min at 400℃,while it is only 2.7 wt%for the undoped 2LiBH_(4)+MgH_(2).The dehydrogenation activation energies of MgH_(2)and LiBH_(4)are 123 and 154 kJ·mol^(-1)respectively for the 5 wt%Nb_(2)C-doped composite,lower than the undoped composite(164 and 165 kJ·mol^(-1)).The 2LiBH_(4)+MgH_(2)+5 wt%Nb_(2)C possesses excellent cycling stability,with the reversible capacity only slightly reduced from 9.4 wt%for the 1st cycle to 9.3 wt%for the 20th ***_(2)C keeps stable in the composite and acts as an efficient catalyst for the Li-Mg-B-H *** is believed that both the layered structure and the active Nb element contribu te to the enhanced hydrogen storage performances of the Li-Mg-B-H *** work confirms that the Nb_(2)C MXene with layered stru cture has a significant enhancing impact on the Li-Mg-B-H hydrogen storage materials,which is different from the bulk NbC.

Herein,the successful preparation of a singleatom catalyst V-N-C using vanadium-doped zeolitic imidazolate framework(ZIF)-8 as a precursor is *** experimental results showed that the V-N-C had a good promoting effect on the hydrogen storage performance of MgH_(2),and the optimal addition amount of V-N-C was 10wt%.The hydrogenation and dehydrogenation apparent activation energies of 10 wt%V-N-C-catalyzed MgH_(2)were reduced by 44.9 and 53.5 kJ·mol^(-1),respectively,compared to those of additive-free MgH_(2).The 10 wt%V-N-C-catalyzed MgH_(2)could reabsorb 5.92 wt%of hydrogen in 50 min at 150℃,with a capacity retention rate of 99.1%after 30 cycles of hydrogen absorption and *** analysis showed that V-N-C was partially transformed into VN and metallic V when it was milled with MgH_(2);the in-situ-formed VN and metallic V played an important role in improving the hydrogen storage performance of MgH_(2).This approach provides a potential solution for obtaining high-performance Mg-based hydrogen storage materials through synergistic interactions between V,N and C.

Mechanically lined pipe(MLP)is often used for offshore oil and gas transport because of its low cost and corrosion *** installation and operation,the pipe may undergo severe bending deformation,which causes the liner to separate from the outer pipe and buckles,affecting the stability of the whole *** this paper,the buckling response of MLP subjected to bending is investigated to clarify its bending characteristics by employing both experiments,numerical simulation,as theoretical *** types of MLPs were manufactured with GB 45 carbon steel(SLP)and Al 6061(ALP)used as the outer pipe material,*** hydraulic expansion and bending experiments of small-scale MLPs are *** addition to the ovalized shape of the cross-section for the SLP specimens,the copper liner was found to wrinkle on the compressive *** contrast,the liner of ALP remains intact without developing any wrinkling and collapse *** addition,a dedicated numerical framework and theoretical models were also *** was found both the manufacturing and bending responses of the MLP can be well reproduced,and the predicted maximum moment and critical curvatures are in good agreement with the experimental results.

One-step construction of strongly coupled Co_(3)V_(2)O_(8)/Co_(3)O_(4)/MXene heterostructure via in-situ Co-F bonds for high performance all-solid-state asymmetric supercapacitors

Co_(3)V_(2)O_(8)/Co_(3)O_(4)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composite was easily synthesized via one-step succinct-operated hydrothermal *** interconnected Co_(3)V_(2)O_(8)/Co_(3)O_(4) nanowires network can in-situ grow and anchor on the surface of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) via the strong Co-F bonds and contribute tremendously to depress Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) *** from the synergistically interplayed effect among the multiple interfaces and high conductivity of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) as well as outstanding stability of the as-designed nanostructure,the optimum Co_(3)V_(2)O_(8)/Co_(3)O_(4)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)electrode reaches a commendable specific capacitance(up to 3800 mF·cm^(−2)),great rate capability(80%capacitance retention after 20-times current increasing),and preeminent cycling stability(95.4%/85.5%retention at 7000th/20,000th cycle).Moreover,the all-solid-state asymmetric supercapacitor based on Co_(3)V_(2)O_(8)/Co_(3)O_(4)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) and active carbon can deliver a high energy density of 84.0μWh·cm^(−2) at the power energy of 3.2 mW·cm^(−2),and excellent cycling durability with 87.0%of initial capacitance retention upon 20,000 *** work provides a practicable pathway to tailor MXene-based composites for high-performance supercapacitor.

Black hole evaporation and its remnants with the generalized uncertainty principle including a linear term

In recent years,researchers have investigated the evaporation of Schwarzschild black holes using various forms of the generalized uncertainty principle(GUP),metric quantum correction,and noncommutative geometry,***,there are differences between the GUP correction and the other two methods in terms of describing the later stages of black hole ***,some studies argue that the GUP with a negative parameter cannot effectively correct black hole evaporation,while others contend that the positivity or negativity of the GUP parameters should not affect the correction *** the above into consideration,we reconsider black hole evaporation with the generalized uncertainty principle including a linear term(LGUP),and examine the case of negative *** results indicate that the evaporation behavior of both Schwarzschild black holes and Reissner–Nordstr?m black holes,under LGUP correction,is consistent with the results of metric quantum correction and non-commutative ***,the negative parameter LGUP can also effectively correct for black hole evaporation.

Effect of Pre-strain on Microstructure and Stamping Performance of High-strength Low-alloy Steel

In this study,pre-strain ranging from 0 to 0.12 was applied through uniaxial tension on high-strength low-alloy(HSLA)specimens with four kinds of grain *** of pre-strain and grain size on me-chanical property was investigated through tensile *** of the pre-strained and tensile tested samples were analyzed,*** 30.8°v-bending and following flattening,as well as Erichson cupping tests,were performed on the pre-strained *** show the elongation ratio of grain and dislocation density increases with *** platform is removed when pre-strain is larger than 0.06 while yielding plateau period decreases with pre-strain less than 0.06 due to reduction of pinning *** 30.8°v-bending and the following flattening tests are successfully accomplished on all the pre-strained samples with different grain *** in grain size,along with increase in pre-strain,causes increase in strength and decrease in elongation rate as well as cupping ***-strain causes very slight effect on bending ability,much less than that on mechanical property and cupping test *** impact of the pre-strain and grain size on HSLA steel deformability is inconspicuous.

Lightweight,Strong and High Heat-Resistant Poly(lactide acid)Foams via Microcellular Injection Molding with Self-Assembly Nucleating Agent

Poly(lactide acid)(PLA)foams have shown considerable promise as eco-friendly alternatives to nondegradable plastic foams,such as polystyrene(PS)***,PLA foam typically suffers from low heat-resistance and poor cellular structure stemming from its inherent slow crystallization rate and low melt *** this study,a high-performance PLA foam with well-defined cell morphology,exceptional strength and enhanced heat-resistance was successfully fabricated via a core-back microcellular injection molding(MIM)*** scanning calorimetry(DSC)results revealed that the added hydrazine-based nucleating agent(HNA)significantly increased the crystallization temperature and accelerated the crystallization process of ***,the addition of a 1.5 wt%of HNA led to a significant reduction in PLA’s cell size,from 43.5µm to 2.87µm,and a remarkable increase in cell density,from 1.08×10^(7)cells/cm^(3)to 2.15×10^(10)cells/cm^(3).This enhancement resulted in a final crystallinity of approximately 55.7%for the PLA blend foam,a marked improvement compared to the pure PLA ***,at 1.5 wt%HNA concentration,the tensile strength and tensile toughness of PLA blend foams demonstrated remarkable improvements of 136%and 463%,***,the Vicat softening temperature of PLA blend foam increased significantly to 134.8°C,whereas the pure PLA foam exhibited only about 59.7℃.These findings underscore the potential for the preparation of lightweight injection-molded PLA foam with enhanced toughness and heat-resistance,which offers a viable approach for the production of high-performance PLA foams suitable for large-scale applications.

Physiological and psychological responses to tended plant communities with varying color characteristics

Exposure to plants has been reported to promote health and reduce stress,and plant color has direct impacts on physical and mental *** used images of common types of tended plant communities in Shenyang,China,with combinations of yellow,green,and red foliage,as experimental stimuli.A total of 27 images were used as visual *** used electroencephalography to measureαwave activity(8-13 Hz)in 40 subjects while they viewed visual *** data were combined with subjective questionnaire data to analyze the relaxing effect of images of tended plant communities with different color types and proportions on *** results revealed that,although there were slight differences between the electroencephalography and psychological findings,women were significantly more relaxed than men after viewing the *** and psychological responses varied with the types and proportions of colors in the tended plant communities:those of foliage with combinations of two or three colors induced stronger responses than images with a single ***,(1)for one-color plant communities,green or yellow plant communities induced a stronger relaxation effect than red plant communities;(2)for two-color plant communities,the optimal color proportion was 55%+45%,and the green+yellow and green+red color combinations induced a stronger relaxation effect;(3)for three-color plant communities,the relaxation effect was strongest when the color proportion was 55%green+25%yellow+20%*** data would provide a plant color matching in future plant landscape design,which may be helpful for creating healthy and relaxing environments.

Anti-cancer therapies usually focus on tumor cells,but non-tumor stromal components in the tumor microenvironment also play vital roles in tumor initiation and progression,which may be the prognostic factors and potential therapeutic ***-associated fibroblasts(CAFs)are the essential component in the tumor environment,exhibiting high heterogeneity in their cell origin and phenotype with diverse functions that influence tumor angiogenesis,immune systems,and ***-cell RNA sequencing and genetically engineered mouse models have increased our understanding of CAF diversity,and many subtypes have been ***,the precise functions of these subtypes need to be studied and *** of signaling pathways and epigenetic changes in CAFs facilitate understanding of the phenotypes of CAFs and the crosstalk between tumor cells and CAFs to provide potential therapeutic *** clinical trials,including phase III trials targeting CAFs,have been performed ***,few of these trials have generated promising results,which indicates that the complexity of CAFs in the tumor microenvironment remains largely unknown,and in-depth investigations of CAFs should be *** review summarizes the research on CAFs,focusing on the heterogeneity of their phenotypes and functions,specific signaling pathways,and the therapeutic strategies involving ***,we briefly discuss the current technologies commonly used in CAF studies and describe the challenges and future perspectives of CAF research.
