In order to comprehend the applicability of microwave irradiation for recovering coalbed methane,it is necessary to evaluate the microwave irradiation-induced alterations in coals with varying levels of *** this work,the carbon molecular sieve combined with KMnO_(4)oxidation was selected to fabricate carbon molecular sieve with diverse oxidation degrees,which can serve as model substances toward ***,the microwave irradiation dependences of pores,functional groups,and highpressure methane adsorption characteristics of model substances were *** results indicated that microwave irradiation causes rearrangement of oxygen-containing functional groups,which could block the micropores with a size of 0.40-0.60 nm in carbon molecular sieve;meanwhile,naphthalene and phenanthrene generated by macro-molecular structure pyrolysis due to microwave irradiation could block the micropores with a size of 0.70-0.90 *** alterations in micropore structure weaken the saturated methane adsorption capacity of oxidized carbon molecular sieve by 2.91%-23.28%,suggesting that microwave irradiation could promote methane ***,the increased mesopores found for oxidized carbon molecular sieve after microwave irradiation could benefit CH4 *** summary,the oxidized carbon molecular sieve can act as model substances toward coals with different ***,microwave irradiation is a promising technology to enhance coalbed methane recovery.

TiO_(2) nanotube arrays,growing on three-dimensional(3 D)porous Ti membrane,were synthesized using a facile nonsolvent-induced phase separation and anodization *** length of those three-dimensional nanotube arrays could be tuned by prolonging the anodizing *** the anodizing time is 8 h,the three-dimensional TiO_(2) nanotube arrays/porous Ti electrode exhibits well cycling stability and ultra-high specific capacity,which is used in lithium-ion batteries,attributed to the high utilization rate of the substrate and the high growth intensity of the active ***-dimensional TiO_(2) nano tube arrays/porous Ti electrode,at 100μA·cm^(-2) with 8 h anodizing time,shows a typical discharge plateau at 1.78 V and exhibits the specific capacity with 2126.7μAh·cm^(-2),The novel nanotube arrays@3 D porous architecture effectively shortens the electron/ion transmission path,which could pave way for optimizing the design of highperformance anode materials for next-generation energy storage system.

The melt memory effect is a widely observed phenomenon in semi-crystalline polymers. In practical applications, various additives are usually introduced into polymers, which may affect their melt memory behavior. In this work, the effect of talc on the melt memory effect of metallocene-made isotactic polypropylene(M-PP) was investigated in detail by using the differential scanning calorimetry. The results indicated that the introduction of talc significantly strengthened the melt memory effect of M-PP. Specifically, the upper limit temperature of Domain II increased from 161 ℃ to 174 ℃, resulting in a substantial widening of the temperature range of Domain IIa from 1 ℃ to 14 ℃. Analysis of the crystal orientation of the M-PP containing talc cooled from various Ts suggested that the remarkably enhanced melt memory effect could be ascribed to the stabilization of oriented nuclei facilitated by talc. This stabilizing effect was likely attributable to the prefreezing effect or the sorption interaction between talc and the M-PP chains.

The present study aims to examine the suitability of two commonly used assumptions that simplify modelling metoceanconditions for designing offshore wind turbines in the South China Sea (SCS). The first assumption assumes thatjoint N-year extreme wind and wave events can be independently estimated and subsequently combined. The secondone assumes peak wind and waves can be modelled as occurring simultaneously during a tropical cyclone (TC) *** better understand the potential TC activity, a set of 10000 years synthetic TC events are generated. The wind fieldmodel and the Mike 21 spectral wave model are employed to model the TC-induced hazards. Subsequently, theeffect of the assumptions is evaluated by analyzing the peak structural response of both monopile and semisubmersibleoffshore wind turbines during TC events. The results demonstrate that the examined assumptions are generally *** assessing the implications of these assumptions, valuable insights are obtained, which can inform andimprove the modelling of TC-induced hazards in the SCS region.

Machine learning-based performance predictions for steels considering manufacturing process parameters:a review

In this paper, an improved Principal Component Analysis（PCA） algorithm on fault detection and isolation（FDI） of redundant inertial measurement unit（RIMU） is proposed so as to improve the accuracy of the FDI system. We firstly combine the superiority both on the PCA and parity space method, then take the filter to parity vector in the process. Simulation results show that the accuracy of fault detection has been greatly increased with the addition of the filter, which demonstrates that the proposed method is feasible and can provide a theoretical reference for the FDI system.

The dried roots of Aconitum pendulum Busch are the major source of a commonly used Tibetan medicine,namely Tiebangchui(TBC)(Fig.S1).However,raw TBC contains a large amount of high toxic diester-diterpenoid alkaloids(DDAs),and the improper use would cause arrhythmia,irreversible cardiovascular damages,and even death.“Paozhi”,an appropriate processing method,is the essential prerequisite for the safe clinical application of ***-decocting and sand-frying are commonly used processing methods for toxicity attenuation and efficacy preservation for TBC.

Surfactants are widely used in the fracturing fluid to enhance the imbibition and thus the oil recovery rate. However, current numerical models cannot capture the physics behind capillary imbibition during the wettability alteration by surfactants. Although the interacting capillary bundle(ICB) model shows potential in characterizing imbibition rates in different pores during wettability alteration, the existing ICB models neglect the influence of wettability and viscosity ratio on the imbibition behavior, making it difficult to accurately describe the oil-water imbibition behavior within the porous media. In this work,a new ICB mathematical model is established by introducing pressure balance without assuming the position of the leading front to comprehensively describe the imbibition behavior in a porous medium under different conditions, including gas-liquid spontaneous imbibition and oil-water *** the pore size distribution of a tight rock is known, this new model can predict the changes of water saturation during the displacement process in the tight rock, and also determine the imbibition rate in pores of different sizes. The water saturation profiles obtained from the new model are validated against the waterflooding simulation results from the CMG, while the imbibition rates calculated by the model are validated against the experimental observations of gas-liquid spontaneous imbibition. The good match above indicates the newly proposed model can show the water saturation profile at a macroscopic scale while capture the underlying physics of the multiphase flow in a porous medium at a microscopic scale. Simulation results obtained from this model indicate that both wettability and viscosity ratio can affect the sequence of fluid imbibition into pores of different sizes during the multiphase flow, where less-viscous wetting fluid is preferentially imbibed into larger pores while more-viscous wetting fluid tends to be imbibed into smaller pores. fur
