The effect of 0.5wt.%Zn addition on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg-3Y-2Nd-0.5Zr(WE32)alloy was *** results indicate that WE32-0.5Zn alloy takes 48 h to reach peak hardness after solid solution treatment at 525℃and aging at 200℃,10 h earlier than WE32 alloy,which implies an accelerated aging precipitation kinetics owing to the addition of 0.5wt.%Zn.A large quantity of finerod and rectangular block-like Zn-Zr precipitates in theα-Mg matrix are formed in the WE32-0.5Zn alloy,and numerous needle-likeβ1phases are distributed at both ends of the Zn-Zr precipitates at peak-aged *** peak-aged condition,the ultimate tensile strength considerably increases from 263.2 MPa(WE32)to 309.6 MPa(WE32-0.5Zn),and the elongation dramatically increases from 4.3%(WE32)to 8.9%(WE32-0.5Zn).Theβ’andβ1phases are the main precipitates of the WE32-0.5Zn alloy peak-aged at 200℃.Theβ’andβ1phases easily nucleate at the Zn-Zr precipitates,and theβ1phases are particularly likely to nucleate and grow at the interface between the two ends of the Zn-Zr precipitates,which accelerates aging precipitation kinetics and leads to a shorter time to achieve peak aging.

The microstructure evolution and age-hardening response for different Sm/Sn ratios(0-2.55,in wt.%)of Mg-Sn-Sm alloys were *** second phase formation in as-cast alloys and the Mg_(3)Sm precipitates formed in aged alloys were characterized using XRD,FESEM and HAADF-STEM with EDS *** indicate that the Sm/Sn ratio has a great influence on the phase constitution,α-Mg grain size and age-hardening *** the increment of Sm/Sn ratio,Mg_(41)Sm_(5) and thermally stable MgSnSm phases *** the Sm/Sn ratio is about 1.19,the secondary dendrite arm spacing ofα-Mg grains significantly ***,the alloy with Sm/Sn ratio up to 2.55 exhibits the highest age-hardening response,the hardness value increases from 52 HB at solution-treated condition to 74 HB at peak-aged condition(ageing at 220 ℃ for a short time of 4 h).This is attributed to the large volume fraction of needle-like Mg_(3)Sm precipitates formed in theα-Mg matrix during ageing treatment,which results in a significant precipitation strengthening effect.

The Mg-6Zn alloy with different contents of Ce was prepared by the gravity casting method,and then the Mg-6Zn-xCe(x=0,0.5,1.0,1.5,wt.%)alloys were extruded at 300℃and 350℃ after solution *** phase constitution and microstructure evolution of Mg-Zn-xCe alloys were analyzed by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS)and electron backscattering diffraction(EBSD).Meanwhile,the mechanical properties of the alloy were tested at room *** as-cast alloys,the results show that the main compound in Mg-6Zn alloy is Mg4Zn7 phase,and the main compound is T-(MgZn)12Ce phase after the addition of different amounts of *** microstructure and distribution of second phases are greatly improved after extrusion at 300℃and 350℃.Compared with initial mechanical properties,the strength and elongation increase obviously by means of extrusion at different *** addition,the microstructure after extrusion at 350℃is further analyzed according to EBSD *** results show that rare earth element Ce probably promotes the activation of non-basal slip during the deformation process with the increase of Ce,which reduces the strength of basal texture and thus improves the plasticity of the ***,the increase of grain boundary migration ability leads to the gradual increase of recrystallization grain size and decreases the strength.

Dear Editor, Triacylglycerols （triglycerides）（TAGs）, as the major storage forms of energy, mainly are stored in adipocytes, myocytes, enterocytes, hepatocytes, and mammary epithelial cells in mammals, oilseeds in plants, and lipid droplets in microorgan- isms （Yen et al., 2008）. Aside from energy storage, TAGs have essential functions in multiple physiological processes. In plants, TAGs are crucial for seed oil accumulation, germina- tion, and seedling development （Zhang et al., 2005, 2009）. Notably, TAGs derived from plants and microorganisms could serve as the feedstock for biofuels production （Deng et al., 2009）. Therefore, understanding of the molecular basis of TAGs bio- synthesis and storage is of considerable economic importance.

Screening of Highly Effective Sinorhizobium meliloti Strains for 'Vector' Alfalfa and Testing of Its Competitive Nodulation Ability in the Field

Seventeen Sinorhizobium meliloti strains from seven provinces in China were used to screen highly effective strains for alfalfa cultivar in a greenhouse study and their symbiotic relationship and competitive ability were studied in the field. CCBAU30138 was the most effective strain, as evidenced by increase in dry weights. A field experiment showed that the inoculation of alfalfa with CCBAU30138 resulted in increases of 11.9% and 19.6% of dry matter production and crude protein production, respectively, in forage of monocultured plants. The total dry matter yields of alfalfa and tall fescue in binary culture were increased by 16.3% by inoculation of alfalfa with this strain. These results showed that S. rneliloti strain CCBAU30138 was an effective inoculant both in the greenhouse and in the field. The analysis of randomly amplified polymorphic DNA （RAPD） by polymerase chain reaction （PCR） from nodule extracts showed that the strain CCBAU30138 had high competitiveness in the field. It occupied 47.5% of nodules in alfalfa monoculture and 44.4% of nodules in alfalfa-tall fescue binary culture after 20 weeks of growth. In conclusion, a simple system to select highly effective and competitive symbiotic strains specific to alfalfa was established. Using this system, a *** suitable for the alfalfa cultivar ‘Vector＇ grown in Wuqiao County of Hebei Province was obtained.

Based on conserved regions among genomic RNA of tobamoviruses, a pair of primers spanning the sequence encoding the movement protein were synthesized. A cDNA fragment of 1700bp was thus amplified by RT-PCR(reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction). The fragment was cloned into pGEM-T easy vector and sequenced. DNA sequence analysis showed that the fragment contained a region of 768 nucleotides encoding protein of 256 amino acid of frangipani mosaic virus (FMV) and also partial sequence corresponding to 180ku and 17. 5ku protein.

Microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg–Zn–Y alloys with different Zn/Y atomic ratios with or without artificial cooling (AC) extrusion were systematically investigated in this work. The results show that bimodal microstructure consisting of submicron dynamic recrystallized (DRXed) grains with high fraction of low-angle grain boundaries (LAGBs) and elongated unDRXed grains was formed in Mg_(98.7)Zn_(1)Y_(0.3) alloy with AC extrusion. The AC process effectively limits the growth of precipitated phases, and large amount of nanoscale precipitates were dynamically precipitated during the extrusion process. AC extrusion could effectually refine the lamellar 14H LPSO phases and inhibit the transition from stacking faults to LSPO phases in Mg_(98)Zn_(1)Y_(1) alloy and the narrow LPSO phase in Mg_(98)Zn_(1)Y_(1)-AC alloy which could promote the nucleation of DRXed grains. The AC extrusion significantly improves the strength of Mg–Zn–Y alloys. Owing to AC extrusion, the strength improvement of Mg_(98.7)Zn_(1)Y_(0.3) alloy is mainly attributed to fine grain strengthening, dislocation strengthening, and nano-phases precipitation strengthening. After AC process, more fine grains and nano-phases jointly strengthen the Mg_(98)Zn_(1)Y_(1) alloy. The Mg_(98)Zn_(1)Y_(1) alloy obtains optimal mechanical properties after extrusion at 623 K, with ultimate tensile strength (UTS) of 406 MPa, yield strength (YS) of 388 MPa, and elongation (EL) of 5.6%.

BACKGROUND Return to work(RTW)serves as an indication for young and middle-aged colorectal cancer(CRC)survivors to resume their normal social ***,these survivors encounter significant challenges during their RTW ***,scientific research is necessary to explore the barriers and facilitating factors of returning to work for young and middle-aged CRC *** To examine the current RTW status among young and middle-aged CRC survivors and to analyze the impact of RTW self-efficacy(RTW-SE),fear of progression(FoP),eHealth literacy(eHL),family resilience(FR),and financial toxicity(FT)on their RTW *** A cross-sectional investigation was adopted in this *** September 2022 to February 2023,a total of 209 participants were recruited through a convenience sampling method from the gastrointestinal surgery department of a class A tertiary hospital in *** investigation utilized a general information questionnaire alongside scales assessing RTW-SE,FoP,eHL,FR,and *** analyze the factors that influence RTW outcomes among young and middle-aged CRC survivors,Cox regression modeling and Kaplan-Meier survival analysis were *** A total of 43.54%of the participants successfully returned to work,with an average RTW time of 100 *** regression univariate analysis revealed that RTW-SE,FoP,eHL,FR,and FT were significantly different between the non-RTW and RTW groups(P<0.05).Furthermore,Cox regression multivariate analysis identified per capita family monthly income,job type,RTW-SE,and FR as independent influencing factors for RTW(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The RTW rate requires further *** levels of RTW-SE and FR were found to significantly increase RTW among young and middle-aged CRC *** professionals should focus on modifiable factors,such as RTW-SE and FR,to design targeted RTW support programs,thereby facilitating their timely reintegration into mainstream society.

The title compounds (4-NH2C6H4S)4Sn 1 and [(4-NH2C6H4S)2(4-NH3C6H4S)2- Sn]Cl2 2 have been synthesized and their crystal structures were determined by X-ray diffraction study. 1 crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P21/m, a = 8.8431(6), b = 15.2944(10), c = 9.1974(7) ?, β = 93.835(2)°, V = 1241.16 (15) ?3, Z = 2, Mr = 615.40, Dc = 1.647 g/cm3, F(000) = 620, μ = 1.387 mm-1, the final R = 0.0439 and wR = 0.1120 for 1892 observed reflections (I > 2σ(I)). 2 crystallizes in monoclinic, space group C2/c, a = 31.0848(2), b = 7.9685(3), c = 11.7213(4) ?, β = 97.228(2)°, V = 2880.28(15) ?3, Z = 4, Mr = 688.32, Dc = 1.5877 g/cm3, F(000) = 1384, μ = 1.384 mm-1, the final R = 0.0416 and wR = 0.1269 for 1968 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I). The Sn4+ ions in 1 and 2 are coordinated to four sulfur atoms with highly and slightly distorted tetrahedral configurations, respectively.
