Hydrazine-assisted water electrolysis is a promising energy conversion technology for highly efficient hydrogen *** design of bifunctional electrocatalysts,which can simultaneously accelerate hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)/hydrazine oxidation reaction(HzOR)kinetics,is the key ***,we demonstrate the development of ultrathin P/Fe co-doped NiSe_(2) nanosheets supported on modified Ni foam(P/Fe-NiSe_(2)) synthesized through a facile electrodeposition process and subsequent heat *** on electrochemical measurements,characterizations,and density functional theory calculations,a favorable“2+2”reaction mechanism with a two-step HER process and a two-step HzOR step was fully proved and the specific effect of P doping on HzOR kinetics was investigated.P/Fe-NiSe_(2) thus yields an impressive electrocatalytic performance,delivering a high current density of 100 mA cm^(−2) with potentials of−168 and 200 mV for HER and HzOR,***,P/Fe-NiSe_(2) can work efficiently for hydrazine-assisted water electrolysis and Zn-Hydrazine(Zn-Hz)battery,making it promising for practical application.

To accurately investigate the evolution characteristics and generation mechanism of retained oil, the study analyzed organic-rich lacustrine shale samples from the Paleogene Kongdian Formation in Cangdong Sag, Bohai Bay Basin. This analysis involves Rock-Eval pyrolysis, pyrolysis simulation experiments,Gas Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer（GC-MS）, and reactive molecular dynamics simulations（Reax FF）. The results revealed the retained oil primarily consisted of n-alkanes with carbon numbers ranging from C14to C36. The generation of retained oil occurred through three stages. A slow growth stage of production rate was observed before reaching the peak of oil production in Stage I. Stage II involved a rapid increase in oil retention, with C12-C17and C24-C32serving as the primary components,increasing continuously during the pyrolysis process. The generation process involved the cleavage of weak bonds, including bridging bonds（hydroxyl, oxy, peroxy, imino, amino, and nitro）, ether bonds, and acid amides in the first stage（Ro= 0.50%-0.75%）. The carbon chains in aromatic ring structures with heteroatomic functional groups breaks in the second stage（Ro= 0.75%-1.20%）. In the third stage（Ro= 1.20%-2.50%）, the ring structures underwent ring-opening reactions to synthesize iso-short-chain olefins and radicals, while further breakdown of aliphatic chains occurred. By coupling pyrolysis simulation experiments and molecular simulation technology, the evolution characteristics and bond breaking mechanism of retained oil in three stages were revealed, providing a reference for the formation and evolution mechanism of retained oil.

Management of intra-articular fracture of the fingers via mini external fixator combined with limited internal fixation

Background Intra-articular fractures of the fingers are common problems to emergency physicians and hand surgeons Inappropriate management of these injuries may result in chronic pain, stiffness, deformity, or post traumatic arthritis. Ideal treatment necessitates the restoration of a stable and congruent joint that will allow early mobilization. The purpose of this study was to investigate the results of intra-articular fracture of the fingers by mini external fixator combined with limited internal fixation. Methods From May 2005 to May 2007, a total of 26 patients with intra-articular fracture of the fingers were treated by mini external fixator combined with limited internal fixation. Of the 26 cases, 11 involved in metacarpophalangeal joint, and 15 interphalangeal joint in proximal interphalangeal. Kirschner wire, mini wire and absorbable suture were used for limited internal fixation. All patients were followed up and patients were accomplished with total active motion （TAM） of fingers. Results All patients were reviewed by an independent observer. The mean follow up was 13 months （range 9 to 24 months）. Subjective, objective and radiographic results were evaluated. X-ray films revealed fracture union and the average radiographic union time was 7 weeks with a range of 5-12 weeks and the phalange shortening or rotation in 2 cases, joint incongruity （less than 1 mm） and joint space narrowing in 3 cases respectively. Phalangeal shortening or rotation was observed in 2 cases and joint incongruity or joint space narrowing was observed in 3 cases. An artificial implant was performed on one case for traumatic arthritis 1.5 years after surgery. Based on TAM the overall good-excellent rate of joint motion function was 80.8%. Conclusion Mini external fixator combined with limited internal fixation is a reliable and effective method for treatment of intra-articular fracture of the fingers.

Tropical cyclone(TC)intensity estimation is a fundamental aspect of TC monitoring and *** learning models have recently been employed to estimate TC intensity from satellite images and yield precise *** work proposes the ViT-TC model based on the Vision Transformer(ViT)*** images of TCs,including infrared(IR),water vapor(WV),and passive microwave(PMW),are used as inputs for intensity *** indicate that combining IR,WV,and PMW as inputs yields more accurate estimations than other channel *** ensemble mean technique is applied to enhance the model's estimations,reducing the root-mean-square error to 9.32 kt(knots,1 kt≈0.51 m s^(-1))and the mean absolute error to 6.49 kt,which outperforms traditional methods and is comparable to existing deep learning *** model assigns high attention weights to areas with high PMW,indicating that PMW magnitude is essential information for the model's *** model also allocates significance to the cloud-cover region,suggesting that the model utilizes the whole TC cloud structure and TC eye to determine TC intensity.

Sporadic E(Es)layers in the ionosphere are characterized by intense plasma irregularities in the E region at altitudes of 90-130 *** they can significantly influence radio communications and navigation systems,accurate forecasting of Es layers is crucial for ensuring the precision and dependability of navigation satellite *** this study,we present Es predictions made by an empirical model and by a deep learning model,and analyze their differences comprehensively by comparing the model predictions to satellite RO measurements and ground-based ionosonde *** deep learning model exhibited significantly better performance,as indicated by its high coefficient of correlation(r=0.87)with RO observations and predictions,than did the empirical model(r=0.53).This study highlights the importance of integrating artificial intelligence technology into ionosphere modelling generally,and into predicting Es layer occurrences and characteristics,in particular.

　　Celangulins are sesquiterpene polyol esters based on a core structure known as β-dihydroagarofuran from Celastrus angulatus Max. Some of them are environment acceptable-pesticides. In order to find new active compounds and study their SAR, sesquiterpene polyol esters libraries were synthesized based on the basic hydrolysis of the extract of the root bark of Celastrus angulatus which could offer the β-dihydroagarofuran polyol by combinatorial chemical method and the compounds with insecticidal activity were isolated by bioassay-guided fractionation. Two new compounds with insecticidal activity against Mythimna separata, were isolated and elucidated as 2β,6α,8β, 13-tetraisobutanoyloxy-1β,4,9α-trihydroxy-β-dihydroagarofuran (A) and 1β,2β,6α,8β, 13-pentaisobutanoyloxy-4α,9α-dihydroxy-β-dihydroagarofuran (B) mainly by 1H NMR, 13C NMRH-HCOSY, HMQC, HMBC and HRMS spectral data. The distribution of digits in numbers obtained from different sources reveals interesting patterns. The well-known Benford's law states that the first digits in many real-life numerical data sets have an asymmetric, logarithmic distribution in which small digits are more common;this asymmetry diminishes for subsequent digits, and the last digit tends to be uniformly distributed. In this paper, we investigate the digit distribution of numbers in a large mobile transaction data set with 835 million mobile transactions and payments made by approximately 460,000 users in more than 300 cities. Although the first digits of the numbers in these mobile transactions follow Benford's law, the last digit has a strong tendency to be a lucky number or be influenced by psychological rounding. This lucky number tendency is more significant in transactions that are more strongly connected to social interactions, such as money sent as gifts or as “red envelopes” (a traditional method of gift-giving during Chinese holidays), and in transactions by individuals with potentially greater emotional needs, such as during COVID-19 outbreaks and natural disasters. This psychological rounding tendency is more common in online e-commerce payments, in-store purchases, and money transfers between individuals. These findings are key for understanding the last digit tendency and its psychological and emotional mechanisms, which could be used as an indicator of public sentiment or in methods of detecting fraudulent business activity. © 2023

Semenov-tian-Shansky has given the solution of the modified classical Yang-Baxter equation, which was called the modified r-matrix. Relevant studies have been extensive in recent times. In this paper, we introduce the concept and representations of modified RotaBaxter Hom-Lie algebras. We develop a cohomology of modified Rota-Baxter Hom-Lie algebras with coefficients in a suitable representation. As applications, we study formal deformations and abelian extensions of modified Rota-Baxter Hom-Lie algebras in terms of second cohomology groups.
