Stripping dispersion hollow fiber liquid membrane system（SDHFLM） containing feed phase adding acetate buffer solution and dispersion solution with HNO_3 solution as the stripping solution and membrane solution of 2-ethyl hexyl phosphoric acid-mono-2-ethylhexyl ester（PC-88A） dissolved in kerosene,has been studied for the extraction of Sm^（3＋）.Many factors including pH value, volume ratio of membrane solution to stripping solution（OAV） and carrier concentration on Sm^（3＋） extraction were investigated. Experimental results indicate that the optimum extraction conditions of Sm^（3＋） were obtained as that PC-88A concentration was 0.120 mol/L,and OAV was 1.00 in the dispersion phase,and pH value was 4.80 in the feed *** initial Sm^（3＋） concentration was 1.20×10^（-4） mol/L,the extraction percentage of Sm^（3＋） was up to 92.8%in 160 min.

The adsorption isotherms of mixtures of linear alkanes, involving n-pentane, n-hexane, and n-heptane in pillared layered materials (PLMs) with three different porosities Ψ=0.98, 0.94 and 0.87, and three pore widths H=1.02, 1.70 and 2.38 nm at temperature T=300 K were simulated by using configurational-bias Monte Carlo (CBMC) techniques in grand canonical ensemble.A grid model was employed to calculate the interaction between a fluid molecule and two layered boards here. For alkane mixtures,the n-heptane, the longest chain component in alkane mixtures, is preferentially adsorbed at low pressures, with its adsorption increasing and then decreasing as the pressure increases continuously while the n-pentane, the shortest chain component in alkane mixtures, is still adsorbed at high pressures; the adsorption of the longest chain component of alkane mixtures increases as the pore width and the porosity of PLMs increase.

The microstructure, martensitic transformation, and thermal cycling stability of Ni56Mn21Cu4Ga19 high-tem- perature shape memory ribbons subjected to different annealing conditions were investigated and compared with that of the bulk master alloy. It was shown that 7 phases precipitated in the bulk and the ribbons annealed for 5 h at 800 and 900 ℃, which lead to the same poor thermal cycling stability. However, the formation of 7 phase was inhibited in the ribbons annealed at 700 ℃ for 30 rnin and 5 h, which remarkably improved the thermal cycling stability and also shifted the martensitic transformation to a lower temperature with a drop of about 60 ℃ than other three samples.

A comprehensive simulation model -- deposition, diffusion, rotation, reaction and aggregation model is presented to simulate the formation processes of ramified clusters on liquid surfaces, where clusters can disuse and rotate easily. The mobility （including diffusion and rotation） of clusters is related to its mass, which is given by Dm = Dos^-γD and θm = θos^-γθ, respectively. The influence of the reaction probability on the kinetics and structure formation is included in the simulation model. We concentrate on revealing dynamic scaling during ramified cluster formation. For this purpose, the time evolution of the cluster density and the weight-average cluster size as well as the cluster-size distribution scaling function at different time are determined for various conditions. The dependence of the cluster density on the deposition flux and time-dependence of fractal dimension are also investigated. The obtained results are helpful in understanding the formation of clusters or thin film growth on liquid surfaces.

Heterogeneous catalysis promises to accelerate sulfur-involved conversion reactions in lithium-sulfur batteries. Solid-state li2S dissociation remains as the rate-limiting step because of the weakly matched solid-solid electrocatalysis interfaces. We propose an electrochemically molecular-imprinting strategy to have a metal sulfide（MS） catalyst with imprinted defects in positions from which the pre-implanted li2S has been electrochemically removed. Such tailor-made defects enable the catalyst to bind exclusively to li atoms in li2S reactant and elongate the li–S bond, thus decreasing the reaction energy barrier during charging. The imprinted Ni3S2catalyst shows the best activity due to the highest defect concentration among the MS catalysts examined. The li2S oxidation potential is substantially reduced to 2.34 V from 2.96 V for the counterpart free of imprinted vacancies, and an Ah-level pouch cell is realized with excellent cycling performance. With a lean electrolyte/sulfur ratio of 1.80 μL mgS–1, the cell achieves a benchmarkedly high energy density beyond 500 Wh kg–1.

Graphite has been currently considered as a promising cathode material in dual ion batteries(DIBs)due to its unique features of sp2 hybridized carbon and stacked two-dimensional layered ***,unexpected volume/thickness changes in the graphite cathodes,induced by the intercalation/deintercalation of anions with large molecular size have been known to be a critical problem in designing DIB *** understand the volume/thickness changes in the DIB electrodes,in operando optical observing apparatus has been employed to observe the cross-section view of a graphite-based cathode upon cycles in the present *** observation suggests that the cathode initially presented a huge irreversible thickness change(60%),and such thickness variation was prone to reduce and remain lights a universal route for fundamentally understanding the electrodes of huge volume variation.
