CT-based radiomics-deep learning model predicts occult lymph node metastasis in early-stage lung adenocarcinoma patients:A multicenter study

Objective: The neglect of occult lymph nodes metastasis(OLNM) is one of the pivotal causes of early non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) recurrence after local treatments such as stereotactic body radiotherapy(SBRT) or surgery. This study aimed to develop and validate a computed tomography(CT)-based radiomics and deep learning(DL) fusion model for predicting non-invasive ***: Patients with radiologically node-negative lung adenocarcinoma from two centers were retrospectively analyzed. We developed clinical, radiomics, and radiomics-clinical models using logistic regression. A DL model was established using a three-dimensional squeeze-and-excitation residual network-34(3D SE-ResNet34) and a fusion model was created by integrating seleted clinical, radiomics features and DL features. Model performance was assessed using the area under the curve(AUC) of the receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve, calibration curves, and decision curve analysis(DCA). Five predictive models were compared; SHapley Additive exPlanations(SHAP) and Gradient-weighted Class Activation Mapping(Grad-CAM) were employed for visualization and ***: Overall, 358 patients were included: 186 in the training cohort, 48 in the internal validation cohort, and 124 in the external testing cohort. The DL fusion model incorporating 3D SE-Resnet 34 achieved the highest AUC of 0.947 in the training dataset, with strong performance in internal and external cohorts(AUCs of 0.903 and 0.907, respectively), outperforming single-modal DL models, clinical models, radiomics models, and radiomicsclinical combined models(DeLong test: P<0.05). DCA confirmed its clinical utility, and calibration curves demonstrated excellent agreement between predicted and observed OLNM probabilities. We propose a cross-subcarrier precoder design(CSPD) for massive multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) downlink. This work aims to significantly improve the channel estimation and signal detection performance by enhancing the smoothness of the frequency domain effective channel. This is accomplished by designing a few vectors known as the transform domain precoding vectors(TDPVs), which are then transformed into the frequency domain to generate the precoders for a set of subcarriers. To combat the effect of channel aging, the TDPVs are optimized under imperfect channel state information(CSI). The optimal precoder structure is derived by maximizing an upper bound of the ergodic weighted sum-rate(WSR) and utilizing the a posteriori beam-based statistical channel model(BSCM). To avoid the large-dimensional matrix inversion, we propose an algorithm with symplectic optimization. Simulation results indicate that the proposed cross-subcarrier precoder design significantly outperforms conventional methods.

Extracorporeal liver surgery(ELS), also known as liver autotransplantation, is a hybrid(cross-fertilized) surgery incorporating the technical knowledge from extreme liver and transplant liver surgeries, and recently became more embraced and popularized among leading centers. ELS could be summarized into three major categories, namely, ex-situ liver resection and autotransplantation(ELRA), ante-situm liver resection and autotransplantation(ALRA) and auxiliary partial liver autotransplantation(APLA). The successful development of ELS during the past 37 years is definitely inseparable from continuous effort s done by Chinese surgeons and researchers. Especially, the precision liver surgery paradigm has allowed to transform ELS into a modularized, more simplified, and standardized surgery, to upgrade surgical skills, to improve peri-operative outcome and long-term survival, to increase the capability of surgeons to select more complex diseases and to expand the level of medical service to the population. This review highlights the Chinese contributions to the field of ELS, focusing thereby on features of different surgical types, technical innovations, disease selection and surgical indication, patient prognosis and future perspectives.

当前,青年社交问题日益成为社会转型和变迁过程中的普通问题。在社交媒介与现实世界的日常观照下,青年的社会交往呈现出矛盾性、复杂性的特征:在社交环境方面,呈现出虚拟与现实并存;在社交时间向度方面,呈现出加速与减速并存;在社交关系方面,呈现出强关系与弱关系并存;在社交需求方面,呈现出亲密陪伴与独立乐活并存;在社交表征方面,呈现出“社牛”与“社恐”并存。从本质上讲,青年社交特征所表现出的矛盾性既指涉了青年群体在现实空间对社交需求的呼唤,也表征着他们在转型社会中的社交困境。对此,进一步加强对青年群体的理解和包容,从营造良好社交环境、合理引导社交需求、创建新型社交关系和塑造理性社交心态等方面加以纾解、引导和支持,对于青年建立自我认同、优化人际关系和健康自信发展具有重要价值与意义。

The multi-class classification of images is a pivotal challenge within the realm of image *** the volume of visual data continues to expand,there is a burgeoning interest in harnessing the unique capabilities of quantum computation to augment the efficiency of classification ***,many existing methods for training quantum image multi-classifiers parallel classical machine learning techniques,where the requisite circuit measurements increase linearly with the volume of training *** work introduces a novel approach for training a quantum image multi-classifier based on the quantum search *** have meticulously conducted rigorous experiments on a handwritten digit dataset,a classic benchmark in the *** results have been meticulously compared with previous works,and the comparative analysis not only validates the efficiency of our proposed approach,requiring only O(N/b)measurements during training,but also highlights a significant quadratic speedup of the algorithm.

The standard model of modern cosmology might be cracked by the recent persistent hot debate on the Hubble-constant(H_(0))tension,which manifests itself as the sound-horizon(r_(s))tension or absolute-magnitude(M_(B))tension if deeming the origin of the Hubble tension from modifying the early or late Universe,*** this study,we achieve a fully model-independent constraint(fitting a model-independent global parameterization to a model-independent inverse distant ladder with a modelindependent high-redshift calibration)on late-time models with strong evidence against homogeneous new physics over theΛ-cold-dark-matter(ΛCDM)*** using this model-independent constraint to calibrate sufficiently local supernovae with corresponding late-time models extrapolated below the homogeneity scale,we find surprisingly that,although both H_(0)tension and MB tension are absent in our local Universe,a combination of H_(0)and M_(B)as the intercept a B of the magnitude-redshift relation exhibits 3~7σtension even for theΛCDM *** aBtension seems to call for local-scale inhomogeneous new physics disguised as local observational systematics.

光合有效辐射是作物生产力模型、陆地生态系统模型和生物地化模型的一个重要参量,研究光合有效辐射对植物生长有重要意义。在如今,不同类型的模型可以模拟树林的激光雷达波形,即使用计算机模型来生成再树林中使用激光雷达时可观测到的波形,而半经验模型和几何模型精确度不够高。蒙特卡洛射线追踪(MCRT)模型虽有较高的精确度,但对计算需求很高。本研究提出了一种新的LiDAR光线追踪模型,基于在离散各向异性辐射传输(DART)模型中引入准蒙特卡洛射线跟踪方法。以实现了“盒方法”和“射线卡罗方法”这2种新方法的结合。在离散辐射传输中,加入模拟光子对光能的微小样本进行模拟;将俄罗斯轮盘赌思想加入蒙特卡洛射线追踪中,以便在达到精度要求的同时减少大量的计算需求;同时对场景模型进行网格化剖分,更加准确地对光线进行追踪。结果表明,6月中旬至7月期间,地表太阳辐射估计值与实际测量值的平均相对误差为3.8%~4.2%,光合有效辐射的估计值与实际测量值的平均相对误差为3.5%~3.9%,估算效果较好,其精确度相较于传统的蒙特卡洛算法提高了1.6%。对比实际测量与该算法模拟的拦截效率,得出误差率在1.66%~2.72%,精确度较高。试验结果对于研究植物生理过程具有重要意义。

The microscopic occurrence characteristics primarily constrain the enrichment and mobility of shale *** study collected the lacustrine shales from the Palaeogene Funing Formation in the Gaoyou Sag, Subei Basin. Conventional and multistage Rock-Eval, scanning electron microscopy, and nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) T1-T2were performed to analyze the contents and occurrence characteristics of shale oil. Low-temperature nitrogen adsorption-desorption(LTNA/D) experiments were conducted on the shales before and after extraction. The relationships between shale oil occurrence with organic matter and pore structures were then discussed. Predominantly, the shale oil in the Funing Formation is found within fractures, with secondary occurrences in interparticle pores linked to brittle minerals and sizeable intraparticle pores associated with clay minerals. The selected shales can be categorized into two types based on the nitrogen isotherms. Type A shales are characterized by high contents of felsic and calcareous minerals but low clay minerals, with larger TOC and shale oil values. Conversely, Type B shales are marked by abundant clay minerals but diminished TOC and shale oil contents. The lower BET specific surface area(SSA), larger average pore diameter, and simpler pore surfaces and pore structures lead to the Type A shales being more conducive to shale oil enrichment and mobility. Shale oil content is predominantly governed by the abundance of organic matter, while an overabundance of organic matter typically equates to a reduced ratio of free oil and diminished fluidity. The BET SSA, volumes of pores less than 25 and 100 nm at extracted state all correlate negatively with total and adsorbed oil contents but display no correlation with free oil, while they have positive relationships with capillary-bound ***, pore water is mainly saturated in micropores(<25 nm) and minipores(25-100 nm), as well as adsorbed oil, while free oil, i.e., bound and movable
