This study evaluated the corrosion behavior of steel hooks embedded in GFRC,which were protected by a zinc-rich(96%Zn)galvanizing *** coating provided the hooks with active cathodic protection and a passive physical *** corrosion may form when the anode is smaller than the tota. steel ***,the steel hooks at the embedment juncture were additionally sealed against water ingress and air exchange using a construction *** study was conducted in three phases in a salt-spray ***,the electrogalvanized steel hooks embedded in GFRC were al.owed to freely corrode for 7 *** the second phase,the electrogalvanized steel hooks were painted with the zinc-rich coating and observed over 7 *** the third phase,the steel hooks were protected by the zinc-rich coating together with a primer and construction sealant,and observed over 7 *** evaluate the electrogalvanized hooks and the corrosion products formed,the thickness of the material was *** on the meta. surface was inferred by studying the surface morphology of the hooks at various points of conta.t and after different periods of time.

The triggering mechanism for radio lobes from late-type galaxies is not fully *** samples are desired for a thorough investigation and *** utilizing the optical data.from the newly released Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument imaging surveys and the radio sources from the NRAo VlA Sky Survey and the Faint Images of the Radio Sky at Twenty-centimeter,we identify four late-type Galaxies with double Radio lobes(la GRls):J0217-3645,J0947+6220,J1412+3723 and J1736+*** previously known la GRls,we confirm the correlation between radio power P_(1.4GHz)and stellar mass M_(*)of host ***(25/35)la GRls belong to the blue cloud galaxies,while the newly identified cases in this work are located within the region of the red *** find a clear correlation between the differential radio power,i.e.,the offset from the P_(1.4GHz)-M_(*)relation,and the galaxy color,indicating that bluer galaxies at a fixed M_(*)tend to host more powerful radio ***,the majority(31/36)of la GRls are either located in a galaxy group or displaying a disturbed *** suggest that all.of the galaxy mass,color and surrounding environment could play importa.t roles in triggering radio lobes in late-type galaxies.

A tota. of 10 specimens of Alcyonacea corals were collected at depths ranging from 905 m to 1633 m by the manned submersible Shenhai Yongshi during two cruises in the South China Sea(SCS).Based on mitochondrial genomic characteristics,morphological examination,and sclerite scanning electron microscopy,the samples were categorized into four suborders(Calcaxonia,Holaxonia,Scleraxonia,and Stolonifera),and identified as 9 possible new cold-water coral *** of GC-skew dissimilarity,phylogenetic dista.ce,and average nucl.otide identity(ANI)revealed a slow evolutionary rate for the octocoral mitochondrial *** nonsynonymous(Ka)to synonymous(Ks)substitution ratio(Ka/Ks)suggested that the 14 protein-coding genes(PCGs)were under purifying selection,likely due to specific deep-sea environmenta. *** analysis of the median Ka/Ks values of five gene families and environmenta. factors indicated that the genes encoding cytochrome b(cyt b)and DNA mismatch repair protein(mutS)may be influenced by environmenta. factors in the context of deep-sea species *** study highlights the slow evolutionary pace and adaptive mechanisms of deep-sea corals.

This paper aims to propose a fourth-order matrix spectral problem involving four potentials and generate an associated l.ouville integrable hierarchy via the zero curvature formulation.A bi-Hamil.onian formulation is furnished by applying the trace identity and a recursion operator is explicitly worked out,which exhibits the l.ouville integrability of each model in the resulting *** specific examples,consisting of novel generalized combined nonlinear Schrodinger equations and modified Korteweg-de Vries equations,are given.

The volta.e drop appearing at Mg anode-electrolyte interface is a critical issue for the battery power and energy density of aqueous primary Mg-air *** respective volta.e loss is typically assigned to the deposits layer forming on the anode surface during *** this work,we experimenta.ly and computa.ionally investigate the critical factors affecting the volta.e drop at Mg anode towards a deeper understa.ding of the contribution of deposit and its growth.A two-dimensional(2D)mathematical model is proposed to compute the volta.e drop of Mg-0.15Ca wt.%al.oy(Mg-0.15Ca)by means of a semi-empirical formulas and experiments-based modification model,considering the effect of discharge current density,the negative difference effect(NDE)and surface deposits layer *** model is utilized to simulate the discharge potential.of the anode at predefined experimenta. current *** computed volta.e drop(half-cell volta.e)is in good agreement with the experimenta. *** applicability of the mathematical model is successfully validated on the second material(namely high-purity Mg).
