The highly reversible insertion/extraction of large-radius K^+into electrode materials remains a tough goal,especially for con version-type ***,we design a current collector-integrated electrode(N-CoSe/CoSe_(2)-C@Cu) as an advanced anode for potassium-ion battery(PIBs).The conductive CoSe/CoSe_(2) heterojunction with rich Se vacancy defects,conductive sp^2 N-doped carbon layer,and the elastic copper foil matrix can greatly accelerate the electron transfer and enhance the structural ***,the well-designed N-CoSe/CoSe_(2)-C@Cu current collector-integrated electrode displays enhanced potassium storage performance with regard to a high capacity(325.1 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.1 A·g^(-1) after 200cycles),an exceptional rate capability(223.5 mAh·g^(-1) at2000 mA·g^(-1)),and an extraordinary long-term cycle stability(a capacity fading of only 0.019% per cycle over1200 cycles at 2000 mA·g^(-1)).Impressively,ex situ scanning electron microscopy(SEM) characterizations prove that the elastic structure of copper foil is merged into the cleverly designed N-CoSe/CoSe_(2)-C@Cu heterostructure,which buffers the deformation of structure and volume and greatly promotes the cycle life during the potassium/depotassium process.

Organic semiconductors are inherently soft,making it possible to increase their mobilities by *** a unique feature can be exploited directly in flexible electronics for improved device *** 2,7-dioctyl[1]benzothieno[3,2-b][1]-benzothiophene derivative,C8-BTBT is one of the best small-molecule hole transport ***,we demonstrated its band structure modulation under strains by combining the non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations and first-principles *** found that the C8-BTBT lattice undergoes a transition from monoclinic to triclinic crystal system at the temperature below 160 *** shear and uniaxial strains were applied to the low-temperature triclinic phase of C8-BTBT,and polymorphism was identified in the shear *** band width enhancement is up to 8%under 2%of compressive strain along the x direction,and 14%under 4%of tensile strain along the y *** band structure modulation of C8-BTBT can be well related to its herringbone packing motifs,where the edge to face and edge to edge pairs constitute two-dimensional charge transport pathways and their electronic overlaps determine the band widths along the two directions *** findings pave the way for utilizing strains towards improved performance of organic semiconductors on flexible substrates,for example,by bending the substrates.

Background:The type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)pharmacodynamic study of various parts of Schisandra sphenanthera was conducted in the previous stage,and it was found that dichloromethane extracted part(SDP)had a significant hypoglycemic ***,the components of SDP were analyzed,and the specific mechanism of its anti-T2DM was ***:We used a high-fat,high-sugar diet in combination with streptozotocin to induce a T2DM rat model,and the model rats were divided into two groups according to body weight and blood ***,oral glucose tolerance test,fasting blood glucose,low density lipoprotein cholesterol,superoxide dismutase,insulin,glycated hemoglobin,total cholesterol,nonesterified free fatty acids,alanine aminotransferase,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,aspartate aminotransferase,malondialdehyde,and glutathione peroxidase were measured,organ indices were calculated,and pathological sections of pancreas and liver were *** 16S rRNA V3–V4 region of intestinal flora was sequenced to explore the effect of SDP on biochemical indicators and intestinal *** on the above indicators,the anti-T2DM mechanism of SDP in Schisandra sphenanthera was ***:After six weeks of administration,the biochemical indices of diabetic rats were diminished compared to the control *** SDP could significantly increase the gut microbialα-diversity index,resulting in significant changes in the flora of T2DM rats,with increased richness and diversity,reduced harmful flora,and significantly back-regulated the levels of acetic acid,propionic acid,and butyric ***:SDP can improve the symptoms associated with elevated blood glucose,dyslipidemia,elevated fasting insulin levels,and damaged glucose tolerance in *** against T2DM may be through the control of intestinal flora to normalize and exert anti-diabetic effect;its main active components may be lignans and terpenoids.

In this paper,we consider Ricci flow on four dimensional closed manifold with bounded scalar curvature,noncollasping volume and bounded *** such conditions,we can show that the manifold has finitely many diffeomorphism types,which generalizes Cheeger–Naber’s result to bounded scalar curvature along Ricci *** particular,this implies the manifold has uniform L^(2) Riemann curvature *** an application,we point out that four dimensional Ricci flow would not have uniform scalar curvature upper bound if the initial metric only satisfying lower Ricci curvature bound,lower volume bound and upper diameter bound.

Plasmon-enhanced electrocatalysis(PEEC)is an emerging approach to mitigate CO_(2)*** mechanisms behind CO_(2)adsorption and reduction at the catalyst-electrolyte interface in PEEC still need to be further ***,we employ a well-defined Ag nanostructure to elucidate these pivotal *** shining light with wavelengths of 625,525,405 nm on Ag,an adjustable CO/H_(2)ratio from 35 to 1 can be *** reaction pathway changing under plasmonic excitation does not originate from the lowered CO_(2)mass transfer in the vicinity of Ag,as the electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance results unravel that a slightly elevated temperature in bulk electrolyte caused by light irradiation cannot weaken the CO_(2)adsorption at the Ag catalyst-electrolyte *** calculations reveal that optical excitation towards shorter wavelengths leads to a progressive lowered energy barrier for H_(2)formation together with an enhanced energy barrier for^(*)COOH *** thermodynamically suppressed,CO_(2)reduction can still be improved kinetically by optimizing the excitation wavelength and intensity,being accompanied with the enhanced *** absorption spectroscopy results further correlate the higher photocurrent with a prolonged electron-phonon coupling time,verifying that the improvement of CO_(2)reduction kinetics in PEEC can be realized by hot electron harnessing.

Many researchers have applied clustering to handle semi-supervised classification of data streams with concept ***,the generalization ability for each specific concept cannot be steadily improved,and the concept drift detection method without considering the local structural information of data cannot accurately detect concept *** paper proposes to solve these problems by BIRCH(Balanced Iterative Reducing and Clustering Using Hierarchies)ensemble and local structure *** local structure mapping strategy is utilized to compute local similarity around each sample and combined with semi-supervised Bayesian method to perform concept *** a recurrent concept is detected,a historical BIRCH ensemble classifier is selected to be incrementally updated;otherwise a new BIRCH ensemble classifier is constructed and added into the classifier *** extensive experiments on several synthetic and real datasets demonstrate the advantage of the proposed algorithm.

The key physical property of multiferroic materials is the existence of coupling between magnetism and polarization, i.e. magnetoelectricity. The origin and manifestations of magnetoelectricity can be very different in the available plethora of multiferroic systems, with multiple possible mechanisms hidden behind the phenomena. In this review, we describe the fundamental physics that causes magnetoelectricity from a theoretical viewpoint. The present review will focus on mainstream physical mechanisms in both single-phase multiferroics and magnetoelectric heterostructures. The most recent tendencies addressing possible new magnetoelectric mechanisms will also be briefly outlined.

This topical review focuses on the recently active debate on the band alignment between two polymorphs of TiO2,rutile and anatase.A summary is given to the popular methods for measurement and calculation of band alignment between *** point out,through examination of recently experimental and theoretical reports,that the outstanding discrepancy in the band alignment between two Ti02 phases is attributed to factors that influence band alignment rather than needs a definite answer of which band alignment is *** to an important factor,the presence of an interface,a new classification of band alignment is proposed as the coupled and intrinsic band *** classification indeed reveals that the rutile/anatase interface can qualitatively change the type of their band ***,further systematic information of the interface and other factors that influence band alignment will be needed to better understand changes in energy bands of *** results obtained from discussion of the band alignment between rutile and anatase may also work for the band alignment between other semiconductors.

Recovering human pose from RGB images and videos has drawn increasing attention in recent years owing to minimum sensor requirements and applicability in diverse fields such as human-computer interaction,robotics,video analytics,and augmented *** a large amount of work has been devoted to this field,3D human pose estimation based on monocular images or videos remains a very challenging task due to a variety of difficulties such as depth ambiguities,occlusion,background clutters,and lack of training *** this survey,we summarize recent advances in monocular 3D human pose *** provide a general taxonomy to cover existing approaches and analyze their capabilities and *** also present a summary of extensively used datasets and metrics,and provide a quantitative comparison of some representative ***,we conclude with a discussion on realistic challenges and open problems for future research directions.

Carbon dots(Cdots)with a broad light absorption range could be a potential stable sensitizer for TiO2,which is an excellent ultraviolet(UV)response ***,we systematically investigated the different color emissive Cdots-sensitized TiO2 for H2 ***,all kinds of Cdots enhanced the photocatalytic properties of *** the Cdots-sensitized TiO2 exhibits visible light H2 production due to their absorption in the visible light *** photocurrent and H2 production amount display strong dependence on the light absorption range of *** blue-emissive Cdots endow the weak H2 production rate due to its weak absorption in the visible *** enhanced photocatalytic activities are mainly contributed to the strong light absorbance and high-efficient charge *** light absorption of green-and red-emissive Cdots is another main factor for the high catalytic activities besides charge separation.
