The Hubble parameter is one of the central parameters in modern cosmology,and describes the present expansion rate of the universe.The values of the parameter inferred from late-time observations are systematically higher than those inferred from early-time measurements by about 10%.To reach a robust conclusion,independent probes with accuracy at percent levels are crucial.Gravitational waves from compact binary coalescence events can be formulated into the standard siren approach to provide an independent Hubble parameter measurement.The future space-borne gravitational wave observatory network,such as the LISA-Taiji network,will be able to measure the gravitational wave signals in the millihertz bands with unprecedented accuracy.By including several statistical and instrumental noises,we show that,within a five-year operation time,the LISA-Taiji network is able to constrain the Hubble parameter within 1% accuracy,and possibly beats the scatters down to 0.5% or even better.

Phosphorus(P)is a limiting nutrient element for crop.To obtain maximum crop yield,P fertilizer is often over-applied,which leads to accelerating exhaustion of phosphate resources and serious environmental problems.Reducing the application of P fertilizer and enhancing the P utilization efficiency of crops are significant for the sustainable development of agriculture.Cadmium(Cd)contamination in rice is another serious agricultural issue.However,whether reducing the application of P fertilizer and enhancing the P utilization efficiency of crops will increase the risk of Cd accumulation in crops remains obscure.In this study,we are aiming to elucidate the relationship between Cd and P in rice from physiological and genetic perspectives.For this purpose,the wild type(WT)rice plants and phosphate(Pi)-starvation signaling repressed mutant phr2 were used to analyze the relationship between Cd and P.Here,we found that Cd stress could promote P accumulation and induce Pi-starvation signaling in WT and phr2 shoots under Pi-sufficient condition in a PHOSPHATE STARVATION RESPONSE 2(PHR2)independent manner.Besides,the expression level of Cd transporter of OsNramp5 and the uptake speed of Cd2+were not obviously changed under Pi-sufficient and Pi-deficient conditions.Furthermore,our Cd determination results showed that the Cd concentrations in WT and phr2 were not obviously changed under Pi-sufficient and Pi-deficient conditions.These results indicate that the external P availability and internal Pi-starvation signaling cannot obviously affect the accumulation of Cd in rice seedling.

Serologic Response to SARS-CoV-2 in COVID-19 Patients with Different Severity

The immense patient number caused by coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)global pandemic brings the urge for more knowledge about its immunological features,including the profile of basic immune parameters.In this study,eighty-eight reported COVID-19 patients in Wuhan were recruited from January to February,2020,including 32 severe/critical cases and56 mild/moderate cases.Their mean age was 56.43 years(range 17–83)and gender ratio(male/female)was 43:45.We tested SARS-CoV-2 RNA with commercial kits,investigated the level of serologic IgM and IgG antibodies against severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)using magnetic particle chemiluminescence immunoassays,and compared the results of serologic tests and nucleic acid test(NAT).Among 88 patients,95.45%were confirmed as positive by the combination of NAT and antibody test,which was significantly higher(P<0.001)than by single nucleic acid test(73.86%)or serologic test(65.91%).Then the correlation between temporal profile and the level of antibody response was analyzed.It showed that seroconversion started on day 5 after disease onset and IgG level was rose earlier than IgM.Comparison between patients with different disease severity suggested early seroconversion and high antibody titer were linked with less severe clinical symptoms.These results supported the combination of serologic testing and NAT in routine COVID-19 diagnosis and provided evidence on the temporal profile of antibody response in patients with different disease severity.

Based on the dispersive interaction between a high quality factor microcavity and nano-objects,whisperinggallery-mode microcavities have been widely used in highly sensitive sensing.Here,we propose a novel method to enhance the sensitivity of the optical frequency shift and reduce the impact of the laser frequency noise on the detection resolution through Brillouin cavity optomechanics in a parity-time symmetric system.The optical spring effect is sensitive to the perturbation of optical modes around the exceptional point.By monitoring the shift of the mechanical frequency,the detection sensitivity for the optical frequency shift is enhanced by 2 orders of magnitude compared with conventional approaches.We find the optical spring effect is robust to the laser frequency noise around the exceptional point,which can reduce the detection limitation caused by the laser frequency instability.Thus,our method can improve the sensing ability for nano-object sensing and other techniques based on the frequency shift of the optical mode.

石膏污泥是有色冶炼行业产生的一种危险固体废弃物,对环境造成了巨大的挑战。为探究用石膏污泥替代石灰石进行冶炼造渣的可行性,通过热力学计算和实验研究了石膏污泥以及冶炼条件对高铅渣还原熔炼的影响。结果表明:石膏污泥中的硫酸钙会消耗还原剂并硫化金属氧化物,需控制其配入量。最有利于有价金属综合回收的条件是:钙硅比0.8、碳粉用量3.5 wt%、硫酸钙与氧化钙摩尔比1:5、还原温度1200℃,还原时间1.5 h。在此条件下铅直收率为94.43%,锌直收率为58.43%。还原渣毒性浸出结果表明,铅、锌、砷、镉重金属离子的浸出毒性均低于国家危险废弃物标准。

燃煤电厂烟气脱硫过程和冶炼污酸的中和过程均产生以二水硫酸钙为主要成分的固体废物,前者称为烟气脱硫石膏,后者通常称为石膏渣。烟气脱硫石膏在建筑材料、生产化工原料、固定二氧化碳、环境治理和土壤修复等方面得到了有益的应用,但冶金行业石膏渣因含有砷、铜、铅、铬等有害元素而利用困难,通常其处置方法有固化/稳定化处置、高温熔融处置、回收有价金属和作为熔剂造渣等。结合国内外烟气脱硫石膏及冶炼石膏渣综合处置的最新研究成果,全面阐述两者的综合利用现状。分析了两类石膏渣处置与利用技术的优缺点,探讨了应用中存在的一些问题与不足,并提出了建议与展望。未来烟气脱硫石膏的研究重点是以减量化、高值化、扩大脱硫石膏高值化利用规模为主,以开发高附加值产品为辅,提高综合利用率;冶炼行业石膏渣的无害化、资源化利用技术,如污酸中和过程中硫酸钙晶型调控、火法−湿法协同处理以及熔炼造渣等是未来的发展方向。

基于火箭撬地面试验的需要,设计了大载荷高加速的短轨火箭橇动力系统,并对地面效应对火箭发动机尾喷管流场的影响进行了理论和试验研究。文中采用FLUENT计算软件对不同条件下的火箭发动机尾喷管外流场进行了三维数值仿真,分析了单枚火箭以及双枚火箭工作时,地面效应对发动机尾喷管流场特性的影响。本文研究的大载荷高加速的短轨火箭撬动力系统,地面效应的影响和双尾喷管之间的相互作用都是在1.5ms时开始显现,在2~3ms时比较明显,在5~20ms开始减小,最后形成稳定的尾部流场。对于喷管出口直径275mm、轴线距离地面不小于472mm和双喷管轴线距离不小于680mm的火箭橇动力系统,在火箭橇运动起来20ms之后,地面效应影响和双火箭发动机之间相互作用变得非常小。
