The presence of endogenous neural stem/progenitor cells in the adult mammalian brain suggests that the central nervous system can be repaired and regenerated after ***,whether it is possible to stimulate neurogenesis and reconstruct cortical layers II to VI in non-neurogenic regions,such as the cortex,remains *** this study,we implanted a hyaluronic acid collagen gel loaded with basic fibroblast growth factor into the motor cortex immediately following traumatic *** findings reveal that this gel effectively stimulated the proliferation and migration of endogenous neural stem/progenitor cells,as well as their differentiation into mature and functionally integrated ***,these new neurons reconstructed the architecture of cortical layers II to VI,integrated into the existing neural circuitry,and ultimately led to improved brain *** findings offer novel insight into potential clinical treatments for traumatic cerebral cortex injuries.

Myocardial injury and related mortality in hospitalized patients with COVID-19 during the Omicron pandemic:new perspectives and insights

Myocardial injury is one of the most common comorbidity in SARS-CoV-2 infected patients,and has poor ***,the incidence of myocardial injury in patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection has not been sufficiently investigated during the Omicron *** conducted a retrospective study of 2690 patients with confirmed SARS-CoV-2 Omicron infection from Tongji *** results indicated that the myocardial injury accounted for 30.8%of the total patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection and was associated with higher in-hospital mortality than those without injury before and after propensity score matching(PSM)[adjusted hazard ratio(HR),10.61;95%confidence interval(CI),7.76–14.51;Pkers(ACEI/ARB)could significantly reduce the mortality in patients with myocardial injury(adjusted HR,0.52;95%CI,0.38–0.71;P<0.001).Additionally,the level of angiotensin II increased in patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection was even higher in myocardial injury group compared to those without ***,the study summarized the clinical characteristic and outcome of SARS-CoV-2 infected patients with myocardial injury during the Omicron wave in China,and validated the protective role of ACEI/ARB in improving the survival of those with myocardial injury.

GRSA: Service-Aware Flow Scheduling for Cloud Storage Datacenter Networks

The proliferation of the global datasphere has forced cloud storage systems to evolve more complex architectures for different *** emergence of these application session requests and system daemon services has created large persistent flows with diverse performance requirements that need to coexist with other types of *** routing methods such as equal-cost multipath(ECMP)and Hedera do not take into consideration specific traffic characteristics nor performance requirements,which make these methods difficult to meet the quality of service(QoS)for high-priority *** this paper,we tailored the best routing for different kinds of cloud storage flows as an integer programming problem and utilized grey relational analysis(GRA)to solve this optimization *** resulting method is a GRAbased service-aware flow scheduling(GRSA)framework that considers requested flow types and network status to select appropriate routing paths for flows in cloud storage datacenter *** results from experiments carried out on a real traffic trace show that the proposed GRSA method can better balance traffic loads,conserve table space and reduce the average transmission delay for high-priority flows compared to ECMP and Hedera.

Comparison of clinical characteristics in patients with coronavirus disease and influenza A in Guangzhou, China

BACKGROUND: This study aims to compare the epidemiological, clinical and laboratory characteristics between patients with coronavirus disease(COVID-19) and influenza A(H1N1), and to develop a differentiating model and a simple scoring ***: We retrospectively analyzed the data from patients with COVID-19 and H1N1. The logistic regression model based on clinical and laboratory characteristics was constructed to distinguish COVID-19 from H1N1. Scores were assigned to each of independent discrimination factors based on their odds ratios. The performance of the prediction model and scoring system was assessed. RESULTS: A total of 236 patients were recruited, including 20 COVID-19 patients and 216 H1N1 patients. Logistic regression revealed that age >34 years, temperature ≤37.5℃, no sputum or myalgia, lymphocyte ratio ≥20% and creatine kinase-myocardial band isoenzyme(CK-MB) >9.7 U/L were independent differentiating factors for COVID-19. The area under curves(AUCs) of the prediction model and scoring system in differentiating COVID-19 from H1N1 were 0.988 and 0.962, respectively. CONCLUSIONS: There are certain differences in clinical and laboratory features between patients with COVID-19 and H1N1. The simple scoring system may be a useful tool for the early identification of COVID-19 patients from H1N1 patients.

Powder transport behavior in RH degasser with powder injection through up snorkel: a transient numerical model

A transient numerical model was established to predict the dispersion,distribution,and circulation behavior of the powder injected through the up snorkel in a Ruhrstahl–Heraeus(RH)*** effects of the powder diameter,the lifting gas flow rate,and the powder injection rate on the powder transport were *** powder concentration was measured by a cold *** results showed that the predicted powder concentration agreed well with the *** powder injection process is divided into three periods,named dispersion period,aggregation and circulation period,and dynamically stable period according to the powder transport *** powder diameter has a great effect on the particle *** the particles size changes from 30 to 500μm,the powder dispersion characteristic index changes from 0.110 to 0.741,and the ladle top zone powder mass ratio changes from 0.118 to *** powder circulation mass flow rate increases to 101.0 kg min^(-1)(150μm)and then decreases to 46.6 kg min^(-1)(500μm).Powders with a diameter of more than 220μm can change the steel flow mode in the RH *** the lifting gas flow could slightly improve the powder *** in the powder injection rate has almost no effect on the powder dispersion.

Male infertility caused by idiopathic oligoasthenospermia(OAT)is known as idiopathic male *** S-transferase(GST)and fluoride may play important roles in idiopathic male infertility,but their effects are still *** study examined the relationship between GST polymorphisms and fluoride-induced toxicity in idiopathic male infertility and determined the underlying ***,blood,and urine samples were collected from 560 *** levels were measured by a highly selective electrode method,and GST genotypes were identified using polymerase chain reaction(PCR)and PCR-restriction fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP).Semen parameters,DNA fragmentation index(DFI),mitochondrial membrane potential(MMP),and oxidative stress(OS)biomarkers were statistically assessed at the Pkers,sex hormone levels,and MMP and DFI levels were lower in the idiopathic male infertility *** glutathione S-transferase M1(GSTM1[-])and glutathione S-transferase T1(GSTT1[-])or glutathione S-transferase P1(GSTP1)mutant genotypes,levels of semen fluoride,OS,MMP,and DFI were considerably higher,and the mean levels of sperm parameters and testosterone were statistically significant in GSTM1(+),GSTT1(+),and GSTP1 wild-type *** semen and blood fluoride levels were associated with oxidative stress in idiopathic male infertility *** fluoride in semen with the genotypes listed above was linked to reproductive quality in idiopathic male infertility *** conclusion,GST polymorphisms and fluorine may have an indicative relationship between reproductive quality and sex hormone levels,and OS participates in the development of idiopathic male infertility.

Construction of Power Trading Supply Guarantee System of High Proportion of Hydropower in the Southwest Power Grid Under Extreme Climate Scenarios

Currently, the Southwest Power Grid is promoting the construction of a new power system. The southwest power grid has a large-scale integration of clean energy, mainly hydropower, which depends on the weather. The system operation is facing serious challenges due to the lack of reliable power supply and the frequent occurrence of extreme climate. Firstly, this paper introduces China's Southwest Power Grid and market operation pattern. Secondly, learning from the power supply issues in the Sichuan-Chongqing region of the Southwest Power Grid under the extreme drought, and high-temperature climate scenarios in the summer of 2022, and based on the perspectives of the regional power grid and the marketization, the paper summarizes the four shortcomings of current power supply scheme of Southwest Power Grid, namely limited warning levels, short supply cycle, limited supply space, and a single supply resource. Therefore, research methods and framework for the power supply of Southwest Power Grid are proposed based on the concept of "double-level, full-lifecycle, full-space, and full-resources" ("one-double three-full"). Thirdly, the power trading system for supply sufficiency in Southwest Power Grid under extreme climate scenarios is constructed: 1) proposing the concept and level determination method of power supply warning and response for regional power grids, and constructing a double-level power trading supply warning and response mechanism for "provincial power grid + regional power grid";2) proposing medium and long term interruptible power supply varieties and constructing a "medium and long term + spot + emergency" full-lifecycle power trading supply guarantee system;3) proposing the concept of inter-regional and intra-provincial market power supply, designing spatiotemporal exchange transactions of large-scale hydropower and constructing a "inter-regional + inter-provincial + intra-provincial" full-space power trading system for supply sufficiency;4) proposing p

Algorithm and experiments of six-dimensional force/torque dynamic measurements based on a Stewart platform

Stewart platform(SP) is a promising choice for large component alignment, and interactive force measurements are a novel and significant approach for high-precision assemblies. The designed position and orientation(P&O) adjusting platform, based on an SP for force/torquedriven(F/T-driven) alignment, can dynamically measure interactive forces. This paper presents an analytical algorithm of measuring six-dimensional F/T based on the screw theory for accurate determination of external forces during alignment. Dynamic gravity deviations were taken into consideration and a compensation model was developed. The P&O number was optimized as *** the specific appearance of repeated six-dimensional F/T measurements, an approximate cone shape was used for spatial precision analysis. The magnitudes and directions of measured F/Ts can be evaluated by a set of standards, in terms of accuracy and repeatability. Experiments were also performed using a known applied load, and the proposed analytical algorithm was able to accurately predict the F/T. A comparison between precision analysis experiments with or without assembly fixtures was performed. Experimental results show that the measurement accuracy varies under different P&O sets and higher loads lead to poorer accuracy of dynamic gravity compensation. In addition, the preferable operation range has been discussed for high-precision assemblies with smaller deviations.

Direct transformation of FGD gypsum to calcium sulfate hemihydrate whiskers:Preparation,simulations,and process analysis

Calcium sulfate hemihydrate （CSH） whiskers were synthesized by phase transition in CaCl2 solution under atmospheric pressure. Analytical-grade calcium sulfate dihydrate （AR CSD） was used as the raw material for the synthesis of CSH whiskers, according to orthogonal experiments. The effects of reaction tem- perature, AR CSD content, H2SO4 content, and reaction time were investigated, and the crystallization conditions were optimized. The as-prepared CSH whiskers displayed a regular morphology and a highly uniform size, with an aspect ratio of 105, A simulation system was also established by blending various sulfates with AR CSD, to evaluate the effects of impurities in flue gas desulfurization （FGD） gypsum. The main aim was to prepare CSH whiskers directly from FGD gypsum, without any purification, using the optimized conditions. This is a facile potential alternative process for large-scale production of CSH whiskers using abundant FGD gypsum as source materials.

Acyclic Edge Coloring of Triangle-free 1-planar Graphs

A proper edge coloring of a graph G is acyclic if there is no 2-colored cycle in G. The acyclic chromatic index of G, denoted by X＇a（G）, is the least number of colors such that G has an acyclic edge coloring. A graph is 1-planar if it can be drawn on the plane so that each edge is crossed by at most one other edge. In this paper, it is proved that X＇a（G） ≤△ A（G）＋ 22, if G is a triangle-free 1-planar graph.
