Effect of different minimally invasive gastric cancer surgical approaches on postoperative intestinal mucosal barrier function

Background:The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of different minimally invasive surgical procedures on intestinal muco-sal barrier ***:In this study,76 patients who underwent minimally invasive gastric cancer surgery were selected,and peripheral blood was collected to test the levels of serum plasma D-lactic acid,diamine oxidase,and bacterial endotoxin before and 1 and 3 days after *** markers were compared at different time points before and after surgery to understand the recovery of the intestinal muco-sal barrier function in patients after ***:On the first postoperative day,the change in serum D-lactic acid relative to the preoperative levels was significantly(P<0.05)lower in the laparoscopic surgery group(4.05[-0.195,6.917 mmol/L])than in the robot-assisted surgery group(7.56[5.190,12.145 mmol/L]).Both the serum D-lactic acid and bacterial endotoxin levels were significantly higher on the first postoperative day compared with preoperative levels,and although they showed a gradual decrease by the third day,they remained significantly higher than the pre-operative levels(P<0.05).The Student-Newman-Keuls method for pairwise comparison of the measurements at each time point dem-onstrated that the differences in D-lactic acid and bacterial endotoxin levels between the preoperative sample and the sample collected on the third postoperative day were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Compared with the laparoscopic surgery group,the robotic surgery group showed larger changes in the postoperative serum D-lactic acid level,suggesting that the robotic surgery resulted in greater damage to the barrier function of the intestinal *** serum D-lactic acid and bacterial endotoxin levels were significantly higher in postoperative patients and showed a trend to gradually decrease,suggesting that the intestinal mucosal barrier function of patients after minimally invasive gastric cancer surgery is damaged and t

目的建立解毒剂量甘草和中毒剂量马钱子药材提取液混合物的高效液相色谱-紫外-串联质谱(HPLC-UV-MS)分析方法,并运用于甘草和马钱子大鼠口服入血成分分析。方法采用Sino Chrome ODS-BP(4.6 mm×250 mm,5μm)色谱柱,水(含0.1%甲酸)(A)-乙腈(B)(V/V)为流动相,梯度洗脱:0.01 min 8%B,2 min 8%B,30 min 25%B,32 min 30%B,50 min45%B,53 min 85%B,60 min 85%B,61 min 8%B,77 min停止,流速0.3 mL·min^(-1)。UV检测波长254 nm,柱温40℃。质谱扫描采用正负离子模式同时检测的全扫描模式,正负离子模式锥孔电压分别30、25 V,毛细管电压分别为2.5、3.5 V。待测血浆用乙腈沉淀蛋白处理后测定。结果建立了同时测定甘草和马钱子药材提取物及入血成分的HPLC-UV-MS方法,比较了甘草和马钱子体内外物质变化。结论采用简便,可重复的HPLC-UV-MS方法对甘草和马钱子提取物体内外成分进行确证和分析,为甘草对马钱子解毒机制的物质基础研究提供实验依据。

Selective modification of peptides has always been a challenging issue. The selective alkylation of peptides can alter the biological activity and physical properties of molecules, and it has gained significant research interest. We herein disclose an intriguing gold-catalyzed alkylation of peptides using bench-stable unactivated alkyl bromides under photoredox catalysis. A wide range of structurally diverse primary, secondary and tertiary alkyl bromides serve as effective coupling partners to precisely connect with the α-C(sp3)–H in glycine residue of peptides. This protocol demonstrates an exceptionally broad scope for alkyl halides and excellent tolerance for a wide range of useful functional groups. A series of relay transformations to construct cyclic peptides, to proceed click reaction and to realize peptide fluorescence labeling further enhance its synthetic practicality. In addition, mechanistic studies and density functional theory(DFT) calculations reveal an inner-sphere and subsequent outersphere single electron transfer(SET) mechanism.

Metal-organic frameworks with dinuclear metal centers for synergistically boosting CO2 photoreduction

Dinuclear metal synergistic catalysis （DMSC） has been proved powerful in boosting CO2reduction,while this has not been achieved in heterogeneous catalysts with long-range order *** this study,we,by introduction of metal catalytic centers into an indium-based metal-organic framework （MOF）,obtained a series of isostructural In-MOFs,including three MOFs with mononuclear metal catalytic center （M-In）,three MOFs with dinuclear homometallic catalytic centers （MM-In）,and three MOFs with dinuclear heterometallic catalytic centers (MM’-In,M/M’=Co（II）,Ni（II）,Zn（II）).It was found that all these MOFs can serve as catalysts for photochemical CO2reduction to *** with M-In,the catalytic activities of MM-In were obviously enhanced,and that of MM’-In was further significantly *** example,the CO yield of Co Zn-In reaches a record value of 12,700μmol g-1h-1,which is 4.0,8.1,9.4,and 18.6-fold higher than that of Co Co-In,Zn Zn-In,Co-In,and Zn-In,***,the catalytic activities of Co Ni-In and Ni Zn-In also show different fold increase than those of corresponding dinuclear homometallic and mononuclear metallic *** results of control experiments and theoretical calculation reveal that the higher catalytic activities of MM-In over M-In can be ascribed to the DMSC effect,and the higher catalytic activity of MM’-In over MM-In can be ascribed to the strengthened DMSC *** work reveals the relationship between DMSC effect and bimetal centers in CO2reduction,which provides new insights into the DMSC and paves a new way to design highly active catalysts for photochemical CO2reduction.

Accurate knowledge of mesospheric winds and waves is essential for studying the dynamics and climate in the mesosphere and lower thermosphere(MLT)*** this study,we conduct a comparative analysis of the mesosphere tidal results obtained from two adjacent meteor radars at low latitudes in Kunming,China,from November 2013 to December *** two radars operate at different frequencies of 37.5 MHz and 53.1 MHz,***,overall good agreement is observed between the two radars in terms of horizontal winds and tide *** results show that the dominant tidal waves of the zonal and meridional winds are diurnal and semidiurnal ***,we conduct an exhaustive statistical analysis to compare the tidal amplitudes and vertical wavelengths recorded by the dual radar systems,which reveals a high degree of alignment in tidal *** investigation includes variances and covariances of tidal amplitudes,which demonstrate remarkable consistency across measurements from both *** finding highlights clear uniformity in the mesospheric tidal patterns observed at low latitudes by the two neighboring meteor *** of the comparative analysis specifically underscore the significant correlation in vertical wavelength measurements,validating the robustness of radar observations for tidal research.

Cohort study on the treatment of BRAF V600E mutant metastatic colorectal cancer with integrated Chinese and western medicine

BACKGROUND Patients with BRAF V600E mutant metastatic colorectal cancer(mCRC)have a low incidence rate,poor biological activity,suboptimal response to conventional treatments,and a poor *** the previous cohort study on mCRC conducted by our team,it was observed that integrated Chinese and Western medicine treatment could significantly prolong the overall survival(OS)of patients with colorectal ***,we further explored the survival benefits in the population with BRAF V600E mutant *** To evaluate the efficacy of integrated Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of BRAF V600E mutant metastatic colorectal *** A cohort study was conducted on patients with BRAF V600E mutant metastatic colorectal cancer admitted to Xiyuan Hospital of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences and Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region from January 2016 to December *** patients were divided into two *** A total of 34 cases were included,with 23 in Chinese-Western medicine cohort(cohort A)and 11 in Western medicine cohort(cohort B).The median overall survival was 19.9 months in cohort A and 14.2 months in cohort B,with a statistically significant difference(P=0.038,hazard ratio=0.46).The 1-3-year survival rates were 95.65%(22/23),39.13%(9/23),and 26.09%(6/23)in cohort A,and 63.64%(7/11),18.18%(2/11),and 9.09%(1/11)in cohort B,*** analysis showed statistically significant differences in median OS between the two cohorts in the right colon,liver metastasis,chemotherapy,and first-line treatment subgroups(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Integrated Chinese and Western medicine can prolong the survival and reduce the risk of death in patients with BRAF V600E mutant metastatic colorectal cancer,with more pronounced benefits observed in patients with right colon involvement,liver metastasis,combined chemotherapy,and first-line treatment.
