BACKGROUND The combination of programmed cell death protein-1(PD-1)inhibitor and che-motherapy is approved as a standard first-or second-line treatment in patients with advanced oesophageal or gastric ***,it is unclear whether this combination is superior to chemotherapy *** To assess the comparative effectiveness and tolerability of combining PD-1 inhibitors with chemotherapy vs chemotherapy alone in patients with advanced gastric cancer,gastroesophageal junction(GEJ)cancer,or oesophageal *** We searched the PubMed and Embase databases for studies that compared the efficacy and tolerance of PD-1 inhibitors in combination with chemotherapy vs chemotherapy alone in patients with advanced oesophageal or gastric *** employed either random or fixed models to analyze the outcomes of each clinical trial,en-compassing data on overall survival(OS),progression-free survival(PFS),objective response rate,and adverse events(AEs).RESULTS Nine phase 3 clinical trials(7016 advanced oesophageal and gastric cancer patients)met the inclusion *** meta-analysis demonstrated that the pooled PD-1 inhibitor+chemotherapy group had a significantly longer OS than the chemotherapy-alone group[hazard ratio(HR)=0.76,95%confidence interval(CI):0.71-0.81];the pooled PFS result was consistent with that of OS(HR=0.67,95%CI:0.61-0.74).The count of patients achieving an objective response in the PD-1 inhibitor+chemotherapy group surpassed that of the chemotherapy-alone group[odds ratio(OR)=1.86,95%CI:1.59-2.18].AE incidence was also higher in the combination-therapy group than in the chemotherapy-alone group,regardless of whether≥grade 3 only(OR=1.30,95%CI:1.07-1.57)or all AE grades(OR=1.88,95%CI:1.39-2.54)were *** performed a subgroup analysis based on the programmed death-ligand 1(PD-L1)combined positive score(CPS)and noted extended OS and PFS durations within the CPS≥1,CPS≥5,and CPS≥10 subgroups of the PD-1 inhibitor+chemotherapy ***

Virtual Coupling Trains Based on Multi-agent System Under Communication Delay

With the rapid development of railway transportation, virtual coupling(VC) has become a popular research topic. VC can greatly reduce tracking distance and increase the line capacity. Under VC control, the train formation control not only considers the behavior and speed adjustment strategy of the leader train but also the communication delays between trains. The quality of data communication between trains is an important aspect of train tracking control. We consider a virtually coupled train set(VCTS) as a multi-agent system. The Luenberger observer is introduced to estimate the real-time state of the train, based on the estimation, the train control consistency protocol is designed to account for communication delays. The stability of the error system is proven by constructing a Lyapunov function. The consistency of the coordinated train control is verified through simulation.

A novel refined dynamic model of high-speed maglev train-bridge coupled system for random vibration and running safety assessment

Running safety assessment and tracking irregularity parametric sensitivity analysis of high-speed maglev train-bridge system are of great concern,especially need perfect refinement models in which all properties can be well characterized based on various stochastic excitations.A three-dimensional refined spatial random vibration analysis model of high-speed maglev train-bridge coupled system is established in this paper,in which multi-source uncertainty excitation can be considered simultaneously,and the probability density evolution method(PDEM)is adopted to reveal the system-specific uncertainty dynamic *** motion equation of the maglev vehicle model is composed of multi-rigid bodies with a total 210-degrees of freedom for each vehicle,and a refined electromagnetic force-air gap model is used to account for the interaction and coupling effect between the moving train and track beam bridges,which are directly established by using finite element *** model is proven to be applicable by comparing with Monte Carlo *** applying the proposed stochastic framework to the high maglev line,the random dynamic responses of maglev vehicles running on the bridges are studied for running safety and stability ***,the effects of track irregularity wavelength range under different amplitude and running speeds on the coupled system are *** results show that the augmentation of train speed will move backward the sensitive wavelength interval,and track irregularity amplitude influences the response remarkably in the sensitive interval.

A new insight into LPSO phase transformation and mechanical properties uniformity of large-scale Mg-Gd-Y-Zn-Zr alloy prepared by multi-pass friction stir processing

A large-scale fine-grained Mg-Gd-Y-Zn-Zr alloy plate with high strength and ductility was successfully prepared by multi-pass friction stir processing(MFSP)technology in this *** structure of grains and long period stacking ordered(LPSO)phase were characterized,and the mechanical properties uniformity was ***,a quantitative relationship between the microstructure and tensile yield strength was *** results showed that the grains in the processed zone(PZ)and interfacial zone(IZ)were refined from 50μm to 3μm and 4μm,respectively,and numerous original LPSO phases were *** IZ,some block-shaped 18R LPSO phases were transformed into needle-like 14H LPSO phases due to stacking faults and the short-range diffusion of solute *** severe shear deformation in the form of kinetic energy caused profuse stacking fault to be generated and move rapidly,greatly increasing the transformation rate of LPSO *** MFSP,the ultimate tensile strength,yield strength and elongation to failure of the large-scale plate were 367 MPa,305 MPa and 18.0% *** refinement and LPSO phase strengthening were the major strengthening mechanisms for the MFSP *** particularly,the strength of IZ was comparable to that of PZ because the strength contribution of the 14H LPSO phase offsets the lack of grain refinement strengthening in *** result opposes the widely accepted notion that IZ is a weak region in MFSP-prepared large-scale fine-grained plate.

Photothermal therapy(PTT)has been widely used in the treatment of tumors,but its efficacy is greatly limited by the inability of precise drug delivery and the increase of heat shock proteins(HSPs)caused by high *** article describes a therapeutic strategy to enhance PTT with starvation therapy in conjunction with ferroptosis mechanism.A nanoparticle platform ZIF-8@GA was constructed by wrapping together glucose oxidase(GOX)and gold nanospheres(AuNPs)loaded with dihydroartemisinin(DHA)with zeolitic imidazolate framework-8(ZIF-8).This platform can take advantage of the micro-environment of osteosarcoma(OS)cells,featuring low pH and high reactive oxygen species(ROS),for precision drug *** can effectively catalyze glucose to produce gluconic acid and H_(2)O_(2),and DHA can also induce ROS production in OS *** produced by GOX and DHA can further generate lipid peroxidation(LPO)and lead to ferroptosis of OS *** the same time,ROS and LPO produced can inhibit the expression of HSPs,thereby increasing the therapeutic effect of *** vitro experiments show that the nanoparticles are pH and ROS responsive.1μg/mL GOX combined with 0.2μg/mL DHA promotes ferroptosis of OS cells,and increases the killing effect of near-infrared(NIR)on OS *** in vivo experiments showed that the nano drug-delivery platform combined with PTT can effectively inhibit the growth of OS ***,this study provides a new idea for the treatment of OS with biomaterials combined with various treatment methods.

As a lot of electromagnetic pollution and interference issues have emerged,to overcome electromagnetic interference,prevent electromagnetic hazards,and develop new high-performance electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorbers have become a significant task in the field of materials *** this paper,a three-dimensional(3D)carbon nanofibers network with core-shell structure,embedded with varied molar ratios of iron and cobalt(4:0,3:1,2:2,1:3,0:4),was effectively synthesized(Fe/Co@C-CNFs)via *** phase,microstructure,magnetic and EMW absorption properties were *** is discovered that Fe/Co@C-CNFs doped with iron:cobalt=1:1 have excellent EMW absorption *** the matching thickness is 1.08 mm,the minimum reflection loss(RL)value is-18.66 dB,while the maximum effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)reaches 4.2 GHz(13.9-18 GHz)at a thickness of 1.22 *** is owing to the absorbers'superior impedance matching and multiple reflections as well as the conductivity,dielectric,and magnetic losses of carbon nanofibers embedded with Fe-Co alloy *** addition,the radar cross section(RCS)of the absorbers has been calculated by CST Studio Suite,showing that the absorbing coating can effectively reduce the RCS at various angles,especially for Fe/Co@C-CNFs doped with iron:cobalt=1:*** findings not only provide new insights for the preparation of light-weight and high-performance electromagnetic wave absorbers,but also contribute to energy storage and conversion.

Optimal control of differential quasivariational-hemivariational inequalities with applications

In this paper, we study a new class of differential quasivariational-hemivariational inequalities of the elliptic type. The problem consists of a system coupling the Cauchy problem for an ordinary differential equation with the variational-hemivariational inequalities, unilateral constraints, and history-dependent operators. First,based on the Minty formulation and the continuity of the solution map of a parametrized quasivariationalhemivariational inequality, and a fixed point theorem for a history-dependent operator, we prove a result on the well-posedness. Next, we examine optimal control problems for differential quasivariational-hemivariational inequalities, including a time-optimal control problem and a maximum stay control problem, for which we show the existence of solutions. In all the optimal control problems, the system is controlled through a distributed and boundary control, a control in initial conditions, and a control that appears in history-dependent ***, we illustrate the results by considering a nonlinear controlled system for a time-dependent elliptic equation with unilateral constraints.

The chlorine evolution reaction(CER)is a crucial step in the production of chlorine gas and active chlorine by chlor-alkali ***,the endeavor to fabricate electrodes capable of yielding high current density at minimal overpotential remains a central challenge in advancing the realm of chlorine evolution ***,we grow TiO_(2)and RuO_(2)on MXene@carbon cloth(CC)through the favorable affinity and induced deposition effect between the surface functional groups of MXene and the metal.A self-supported electrode(RuTiO_(2)/MXene@CC)with strong binding at the electrocatalyst-support interface and weak adhesion at electrocatalyst-bubble interface is *** RuTiO_(2)/MXene@CC can reduce the electron density of RuO_(2)by regulating the electron redistribution at the heterogeneous interface,thus enhancing the adsorption of Cl−.RuTiO_(2)/MXene@CC could achieve a high current density of 1000 mA·cm^(−2)at a small overpotential of 220 mV,superior to commercial dimensionally stable anodes(DSA).This study provides a new strategy for constructing efficient CER catalysts at high current density.

Shor's algorithm does not factor large integers in the presence of noise

We consider Shor's quantum factoring algorithm in the setting of noisy quantum gates. Under a generic model of random noise for(controlled) rotation gates, we prove that the algorithm does not factor integers of the form pq when the noise exceeds a vanishingly small level in terms of n—the number of bits of the integer to be factored, where p and q are from a well-defined set of primes of positive density. We further prove that with probability 1-o(1) over random prime pairs(p, q), Shor's factoring algorithm does not factor numbers of the form pq, with the same level of random noise present.

Whittle’s Index Based Sensor Scheduling for Multiprocess Systems Under DoS Attacks
